So my family and I ate there a couple hours ago and my mom order a steak when it comes out she can’t even eat the steak so the waitress sends the manager over and my mom tells him about how she couldn’t even eat her steak so he asks her does she want a sirloin and she’s like ok so they bring it out later. Now mind you she’s thinking they are trying to make this right. I get my bill later and they charged me for the steak! Now that’s messed up! I was so pissed when I got my bill! that manger made it seem like since they messed up and my mom wasn’t happy that they made her another steak in place of the crappy one they gave her the first time! That’s bad business what they should of done was give her that steak at no charge! And to make matters worse the sirloin was more expensive than the first steak she ordered! We will Not be goin back there. Bad manager!

I’m not big on chain restaurants but… this was a great experience. I was eating alone so I sat at the bar. I ordered the outlaw ribeye medium rare and a loaded baked potato. I’m a big steak guy and this was arguably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The flavor and cut were perfect. The kind of steak that melts in your mouth. Definitely will eat here again. The baked potato was standard but definitely tasty. I also had a caeser salad which was decent. Service was quick and attentive. Food was unreal. I’ll have to try longhorn in my home town to compare but this location was definitely operating with standards. Thank you for an amazing meal!

I’m definitely not a chain restaurant girl. When you’re in youngstown though, good luck finding a steak restaurant that isn’t a chain. There is no foodie spot for that. Only local italian restaurants. The choice for steak is longhorn or texas road house which opened less than a year ago. Longhorn actually at this location never fails. We typically come in on Sundays right after Church. It’s early enough where it is never busy as we get there around 12. Nice interior with booths, tables, half booth half tables and a bar. Hubby likes that they have some tvs so he can watch sports. Mother in law always orders the small 6 Oz Flos filet and a baked potato. Hubby likes the bacon and cheddar stuffed filet 8 oz. I always try something different as they have great seasonal menus. Lamb chops with horseradish mash, salmon and brocoli, prime rib, today was cabernet rosemary filet and summer roasted corn in the cob.(Flos filet is better) They give you a salad with the meal and one side. Don’t recommend the Caesar salad… nothing but giant wilty pieces of romaine and some shaved parmesan. Garden salad with balsamic is way better. There is also a ginormous bread on carving board for you to start with. Best side I recommend is the sweet potato! Never had a bad meal. Best steakhouse in youngstown.

Service was awful. I ordered an apple martini to drink, after waiting… and waiting… and waiting for my drink, my waitress brought out the most disgusting drink I’ve ever had the displeasure of tasting. My fiancé asked for extra bacon on his bacon cheeseburger, and they were kind enough to put one whole strip on for him! We also had a lovely view our entire meal after being seated in the corner next to the high chairs and stacked dirty dishes. The only pleasant part of this little outing were the pretzel sticks and the beer cheese. I recommend mixing the bacon honey mustard with the beer cheese.

I had my credit card information stolen from this place. Proceed at your own risk. I suggest paying in cash.

Pretty dissapointed in this place. Went here for late lunch yesterday. This was the first time I’d ever been to Longhorn. Ordered spinach & artichoke dip appetizer, and the Black and Bleu burger. With the burger, instead of fries, I upgraded to mushroom & parmesan risotto from their special menu. The spinach dip was lukewarm at best, bordering on cold. It had some mozzarella on top, but was otherwise flavorless. Didn’t taste like it had any parmesan cheese in it, despite what the menu said. It was kinda watery too. The B&B burger was decent. It was cooked well, the brioche bun and the bleu cheese were both good. However, the menu said«Our fresh all-beef burger kicked up a notch with our secret 7-pepper seasoning. Grilled to order and topped with melted blue cheese.»(I copied that from their website.) If there was a 7-pepper seasoning, I didn’t taste any of it. The special side of mushroom parmesan risotto was also underwhelming. If your fork didn’t have one of the parmesan shavings on it, there was no flavor to this dish at all. And there weren’t many parmesan shavings. On the plus side, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. BTW…this place also had a funky smell… like the rags or mops they used to clean the place weren’t washed very well. I was expecting a lot from a steakhouse with a Texas-y kinda name, and they didn’t deliver. Guess I’ll stick to Outback and TX Roadhouse.

I am not much of a «chain» restaurant person but Longhorn is tops. Best steaks and great service! Lots of competition in Board an, I hope you can hold your own!

The food is good and the ambience is of a fine dining restaurant. However, I was able to hear the kitchen staff talking, which ruined the moment. The pepper grinder didnt work properly and the butter was hard. I noticed a table wanted to use a coupon and the manager had to inspect it at the table, which seemed out of place.

I’ve actually only been to Lonestar once in my entire life, but I don’t feel any reason to return. We had received a GC for Darden for Xmas and decided to try Lonestar as I was craving steak. My BF had been before, but it was my first time. We literally had the worst service I had ever experienced at a restaurant. We ordered an appetizer and it came out completely burnt, had no drinks a majority of our dinner. My steak was over cooked and just was no impressed with my meal at all. Now I don’t expect much from chain restaurants but I expected a little bit more then what we received. We ended up even having issues with checking out as the waitress apparently didn’t know how to take payments and never returned our credit card. The manager didn’t even apologize. But I did get in contact with the DM who was very nice and offered a GC for us to come back. I just have had much better service/food at other chains to bother coming back.

Took my wife here on Valentine’s Day. Had the Flo’s special(appetizer, salad, entrée for $ 35). The meal was excellent, steak cooked to perfection and as ordered. Calamari for appetizer was mighty tasty. Sadly, we did not have room for any dessert. Wait staff was excellent and attentive to our every need. I would definitely recommend this establishment and look forward to my next visit.

I was here on business with 11 coworkers. So, first of all, our server was amazing. She was efficient and helpful. LongHorn has pretty much ZERO out there for vegans. I asked for their chicken pecan salad minus the chicken and cheese and thought it’d be some giant bowl of salad and be tasty. It ended up being like soup bowl size, so while flavorful, it wasn’t super filling.(Also, when you are vegan, the smell in places like these is pretty overwhelming… and not in a good way…) A good joint for cow!

Not bad for a fast food chain steakhouse! We don’t have Longhorns here in NYC. we only have Outback Steakhouse and that in comparison is BLEHHHH. The bread is so warm and soft. Their steaks are so succulent and juicy! Made to perfection. I had the sweet potato with butter and cinnamon as a side. SOOODELICIOUS! The desserts are to die for! They should open chains here in NYC!!!

This is honestly one of the best steakhouses in its price range I’ve ever eaten at. My husband and I jsut moved here from Indiana, and we’ve been sad that there’s no Texas Roadhouse around here. We decided to eat at Longhorn and give it a try. We were not disappointed. The bread is warm and soft on the inside(although not as good as Texas Roadhouse’s 1000 calorie rolls), the salad was good and loaded with all kinds of goodies(although again, not as good at Texas Roadhouse’s), and our entrée was amazing(definitely better than Texas Roadhouse’s entrees). Our steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and seasoned so perfectly. The crab and shripm au gratin was amazing; I think an artery clogged while eating it! I had a blackberry and peach margarita, and it was amazing… and huge! We then had the chocolate dessert. O-M-G! Not the best chocolate dessert I’ve ever had but so huge, my husband and I took half of it home. Plus, the mousse parts of the dessert were amazing. We will definintely return as soon as the craving for an awesome steak comes back.

My first time back here in well over a year. My two older kids were with there Uncle Willy and Aunt D so we just had our two year old with us. The atmosphere is fine for children by the way. The décor is old cowboy movie posters and statues of the same. Our waitress Octavia was very friendly and attentive. Request her if you decide to go. I had the NY strip-medium-was cooked perfectly but was a bit more fatty than what I remember. Salad and baked potato were what you normally get at a steak house I guess. The hot bread they serve is great. I chased it all down with a large, frosty mug of Bud Light. My wife’s steak was not as good. She ordered a thicker cut-medium-but came out very rare. Rather than send it back, she ate the outside edges and said«I’ll take it home, and throw it under the broiler for a few». Crazy lady I married. My boy just had chicken tenders and fries. He was happy because we let him put his own salt on his fries. Let’s just say he didn’t eat the fires after wards. It was a fun night out and would visit this steak house again.
