Have been here twice with the husband. Had 4 different pies, each excellent. Whole wheat crust great, would never know it was whole wheat. Very creamy and tasty ricotta. The hot peppers in oil are really hot, so beware. Very friendly service. Good location near lots of shopping, convenient. This part of the country doesn’t offer slices of pizza in pizza joints, so this makes up for it.

This place is awesome love building my own pizza/salads, also the friendliest service loving«big» Ron always smiling! Whomever came up with this idea it was great. Only downside is the spot they picked hard to get in and out so I only get it when I’m in that area.

My husband has a gluten allergy, when he ordered his pizza they immediately asked if he has an allergy, when he indicated yes, a different employee swapped to new gloves, grabbed a board from a different area of the kitchen, lined it with parchment paper that was specifically to cook the gluten free pizzas on IN the oven, and they took great care to not let his pizza touch any surface that anyone else’s touched. We were very pleasantly surprised. The pies were delicious!

Rise Pies is the best! I have a son with allergies and until rise pies he only got chicken breast and broccoli everywhere we went. On our 1st trip to Rise Pies in Boardman everyone was knowledgable and helpful. My 2year old son got to eat like everyone else for the first time. He got a gluten free crust, vegan cheese, and picked out nearly every vegetable they have. And they have a ton of options. Everything is always fresh and tastes great. We’ve been going there for over a year a couple of times a month without a single bad experience. Everyone who works there remembers my son and they always treat him fantastic. With that said I have no allergies and this is flat out the best pizza around. If you haven’t been to Rise Pies yet put it at the top of your list. It’s fast, fresh and great!

This is hands down my favorite pizza place. Always cooked to perfection and the taste is always on point. What I don’t appreciate about this place is the staff, more specifically the younger staff. There are a couple girls who work there, college age I’d say, who always keep their phones in their back pockets which is extremely unprofessional, and when they aren’t serving any customers, they’ll take their phones out and play on them for however long it takes for another customer to walk through the door. Not only that, but one time, one of the girls was taking a snapchat video and was using vulgar language loud enough for everyone near her to hear and was also«flipping the bird».

Fast, friendly and fun! Kids and I love coming here and building our own pizzas! Located in the middle of Boardman shopping, this is the perfect stop for a quick and easy meal.

This place is awesome. You can make your own pizza with any toppings. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

mehhhh ok overpriced pizza but taste good! Its more like a fast paced place with more authentic style pizza, not gooey tons of cheese type. People who work there are super nice though!

Gluten-free crust!!! This place is awesome. A tad expensive when you get the gluten-free crust and multiple toppings but it was absolutely delicious. There are a ton of sauces, cheeses, and toppings to choose from.

This place is so great. Seriously, it’s like Chipotle for pizza. The concept is brilliant and the execution is really great. The crust is nice and chewy with just the right amount of crunch. The red plum tomato sauce is average, but it certainly doesn’t detract from the overall product. Added points for having Vernon’s meatballs available as a topping. I’ve never been a fan of meatballs on pizza before but now it’s all I get when I go here. The place is clean and well run. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t yet.

Fast-casual dining is the way of the future. Everyone is on the go, and grabbing a quick, healthy meal is becoming a more preferred option than sit-down eating. Rise Pies takes the concept of fast-casual dining and runs with it. The create-your-own-pizza joint is a great quick, healthy alternative for fast food restaurants. Think of Rise Pies as Chipotle, but with pizza. When you walk into the restaurant, you select the type of dough you want. From there, you select sauce, then cheese, then toppings. What’s nice about Rise Pies is that all of the ingredients are of high quality. You don’t have to worry about eating extra processed garbage. You see the fresh ingredients being prepared right in front of you. After finishing your creation, the pizza is cooked in a super-hot oven, and the pie comes out deliciously crispy and gooey! The flavor combinations are up to you. I personally like the spicy diavolo tomato sauce with shaved Parmesan, spinach, roasted red peppers, and chicken. It’s surprisingly good! Next time you’re in the Boardman area and you need a quick bite to eat, give Rise Pies a shot. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because it’s still a fast casual restaurant, not a sit down. Will Rise Pies be the best pizza you’ve ever tasted? Probably not. Does its quality ingredients and attention to detail beat Taco Bell or McDonald’s any day? You friggin’ bet!

Diavolo sauce, fresh basil, goat cheese, sliced Parmigiano, artichoke, caramelized onions, Italian sausage… Are you drooling yet? And kicking yourself for eating lunch at Taco Bell the last time you were in Boardman? You should be. As near as I can tell, Rise Pies did everything right. Few businesses manage to attain that level of perfection. You can pick 1 of 8 already designed pies or make your own. I like designing my own. Then you can pick from several crust options, several sauce options, different meats, vegetables, cheeses, spices… And then Bam! 160 seconds later, it’s done! Your own pizza you designed for your own taste buds! It will be delicious, because how could it not be? Not too greasy, the right amount of food, quality ingredients, decent prices. What more could you want?

Great place for quick and tasty vegan pizza. First time trying Rise Pies and was extremely pleased. The manager and one of the employees was very helpful and knowledgeable on what items were vegan or not. The employee who made my pizza did skimp a little on the toppings, but I believe she was new. Pizza was crisp and flavorful, would highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a tasty quick meal.

The folks that said Chipotle meets pizza were right on the money. You pick your dough, pick your toppings, a few minutes in the oven and voila — pizza! I had the margherita which was a basic sauce, fresh mozz and basil pizza. The sauce and mozz was ok but they put such a small amount of basil you could barely taste it. Crust was super thin — definitely NYC style if you like to fold your slices this is for you. It is a good alternative to Chipotle if you want pizza instead of Mexican but I would not say it was the best pizza that I have had.

Thin crust fire oven pizza in 160 secs… cool concept but that is it for me… Had pepperoni pizza and the margherita pizza… crust with little flavor and rest was just mediocre and flat… I’ve been to Italy twice and remember the authentic thin crust pizza… This has a lot to be desired…

I am in pizza heaven! We tried Rise for the first time today and already I cannot wait to come back and try it again! Think of it like Subway or Chipotle meets Pizza. What makes it so very awesome is that you have so many choices to choose from and for 8.95 you get unlimited toppings!!! They have three crusts — original, wheat or gluten free, then you have several choices for your sauce that vary from traditional to Roma tomato sauce, pesto, even BBQ! Moving down you have more cheese choices than you could ever think of from a «fast» food pizza joint. Mozz, fresh mozzarella, parm, ricotta, even a vegan cheese and goat cheese. I went with shredded mozzarella, over a light traditional sauce, I also used parm, fresh mozzarella, and a Romano. For meat I was elated to see shrimp on the selection. It is an additional cost but I did not mind. Being from Louisiana I live a shrimp pizza and this is the first one I’ve had in 13 years and it made me so happy! I also added bacon. The pizza takes only 160 seconds to cook and it comes out cooked to perfection. I savored every single bite! My sister did the same cheeses and added oregano and black olives. She too enjoyed her pizza and cannot wait to come here again. If you are out and about and want a great pizza stop in and try it for yourself! It’s wonderful!

Rise Pies is one of three pizza restaurants I’ve eaten at in the new«Fast-Casual» category. These all make a personalized pizza for you in less than 4 minutes using very high-temperature ovens. The other two I’ve experienced are Pizza Studio in the Mall of America, Minneapolis, MN and Pizza Fire, downtown Akron, OH. While I enjoyed all three, Rise Pies is my personal favorite. If you like thin, crispy New York style pizza, then this beats any fast food national pizza chain out there. You can choose from a couple of types of crust, several sauces, several seasonings and several cheeses, and that’s before you even get to the point of choosing your toppings. If that’s too stressful, there are several types you can order which have pre-determined ingredients. The quality is excellent. I don’t say that for just any restaurant. The crust is pure heaven. It meets my personal definition of the perfect crust. It’s fun to watch them make the pizza right in front of you and SO fast! It really does only spend three minutes in that 600 degree oven. To top it off, not only do they have Coke products, somewhat of a rarity in pizza joints, but they have not one, but TWO Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. I don’t get over to Youngstown too often, but every time go there or pass through, I stop and have another Rise Pies experience. I highly recommend this one.
