Alterations by Norma

I paid $ 75 for really simple blouse alterations, but when I got home they were still baggy and ill-​fitting. I should have known when they didn’t have me try them on. Never goin’ back. Lesson learned!

My wife gave her two dresses to fix, one with two ripped straps and the other to take the line up since it showed when she bent. She fixed only one strap and then didn’t even bring the line up, it was still showing. She even had the audacity to make us pay before even showing us what she did. And then she argued with her saying she fixed it and it was brought up. Not the best customer service. Not even a «oh, I’m sorry, here let me fix that for you». Rude.
On top of that, it cost $ 16.38 for something that we personally saw her spend 5 minutes of labor doing both. We aren’t going here again.

Not much on writing reviews but felt that I needed to share my experience with this business. First time customer and ended up there based on the location. I went in around a month ago to have two suits altered. Just the hems and the sleeves. The first time I wore one of the suits the hem came out. Took them back a few days later when I had the time to get away from my office. They apologize and repaired them while I waited. Norma did not seem to really be too concerned that I had to take my valuable time to come back and more importantly that they did a poor job in the first place. Got over it and moved on. A month later the other hem on the other suit came out. Once again I had to take the time to leave my office and bring them back to have them repaired. This time I felt that I needed to say something and politely asked if they had a problem with the thread they were using or if there was another issue that would make the hem come out my two suits in less then a month. Norma was completely unapologetic and could care less that I had to be inconvenienced due to the quality of her work. More importantly the total disrespect and lack of appreciation of my business was amazing to me. There is a sign outside that her business is recognizxed as Bica Best tailor of 2014. Maybe this has gone to her head. I will not patronize them and will tell my co-​workers and friends about my experience. There are plenty of other quality tailors in Boca that I’m sure appreciate the customers!

Absolutely amazing! I feel so lucky to have found this place. Service was amazing. Even offered to have me come back to try on my dress before the actual day I needed it incase I wanted her to take it in more! It’s so important to have somebody you trust for alterations on clothing. Not to mentions the pricing was 100% fair. I would highly recommend this place — it is my new go to! She accepts cash or check!

I can’t ask for a better tailoring experience when it comes to Alterations by Norma. They’re very friendly. They’re fast. They’re inexpensive. They do a great job. Highly recommended. Cash only.
