It isn’t easy to find an old fashioned independent tailor shop these days, most tailoring is done as a side line in a dry cleaner shop(iffy quality, and it’s 110 degrees in that little changing booth) or as part of a big box department store’s clothing department. Frank Michael has been around for years, reliable and good quality. There are several tailors/seamstresses who work in the back, assures you of delivery as promised, and if you are really rushed, owner PAUL(real nice guy) will work with you for a quicker turn around. Expensive? I don’t know, tailoring always seems pricey to me. The owner is honest, if it is going to cost $$$ to tailor a pair of pants and they still won’t fit great, he will tell you straight up. Oh, they have coupons for discounts in those mailer booklets sent out. Ask for discount if you don’t have a coupon! Lots of women have tailoring done there too! They sell men’s suits, pants, sports jackets, ties, shirts. Most of that looks funky to me but I’ve found some decent short sleeve casual shirts — on occasion. Free parking in their lot.

Not the greatest tailor but pretty quick, left a bunching in a sport coat back, was not familiar with tailoring for«self defense» type needs. OK in a lurch for time.
