We have given this restaurant 3 chances however each time we have dined there our experience has gotten worse! All 10 of the people at my table refuse to ever eat here again. The owners daughter is outright rude and obnoxious to the customers. I ordered a drink and the waiter started to yell at me that he was too busy taking care of other table to take my drink order and that I had a nerve to bother him. They have a serving cart of food sitting on the floor and the customers are walking past it sneezing, coughing and taking tastes. I am shocked that the board of health allows this. Then to top off the evening we were double charged, one couple at our table left early because they couldn’t tolerate the rudeness of the staff as well as the poor service and lack of quality of the food(the fish was full of bones and was inedible, the pasta had no sauce and another fish was covered in scales) they paid their bill and left. When we received our check they added the couple that had already paid bill onto ours therefore double charging us. When we informed the owners daughter about the fish and the lack of sauce on the pasta she told us that we were lying and abruptly walked away after making a rude gesture. I feel that the owners as well as the wait staff at this restaurant want it to fail and close down that is the only way that I could rationalize the utter disgust with the operation of this restaurant. If you are considering eating there DONT run the other way to the restaurants that are happy to see customers and treat them as such!

I live very close by this Italian restaurant and always go there for special occasions. Right when you get to place you see all the fresh ingredients and pasta of the day! Their canoli is amazing! We always have the ravioli shared as an appetizer and my boyfriend loves their meet. Good old school Italian food. Great service! Nice wine menu. They have live music on special days and some weekends, piano, opera singer etc.

I must highlight this review by commenting upon some of the earlier mixed Unilocal reviews denigrating this«very special» restaurant… potentially, causing some future Unilocalers to miss out on one of the top 10 restaurants in southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties… I analyzed the one star reviews against the five stars reviews which revealed the following interesting statistics: the one star reviewers had provided a total of 48 reviews to Unilocal in the past… while the five star reviewers had provided a total of 1309 reviews to Unilocal in the past… obviously something is out of whack… Such statistics can be interpreted in several ways. Make of it as you will. IF Arturo’s wasn’t such a refined outstanding, one of a kind italian restaurant, I would have ignored these puzzling contradictory Unilocal reviews denigrating such a fine restaurant. Tonight was my first time at Arturo: s… as such I was immediately impressed by the ambience which was both warm and formal at the same time… a piano was unobtrusively heard in the background .Yes, I believe that Arturo: s calls for a jacket… but most diners on this Saturday night seemed to be more casual than this restaurant deserves. Sure enough this is an arbitrary value judgement on my part. The restaurant is so refined that I was almost embarrassed to ask our wonderful waiter, Carlos, the price of the anounced specials for the night… but even for Arturo’s …I believe it is appropriate for the server to state the price of the specials for the night… even though there were two Bentleys parked outside. Perhaps the management feels that it is too gross or uncouth to mention the tariff on any given«special», considering the relatively formal ambience provided by this dining emporium… As for the wonderful menu and cart presentations… there is NOTHING better than Arturo’s in the Boca Raton area. I opted for the appetizer cart which had too many choices to list here… but I particularly enjoyed the fresh slightly vinegary& lemony seafood salad, white anchovies, asparagus, artichokes, etc… clearly worthy of 6 stars which«sort of» adds one star… to the one star, I reluctantly subtracted because the server had not mentioned the price of the specials, until asked. The menu offered many enticing veal and fish dishes… I thoroughly enjoyed the veal Arturo which was prepared with prosciutto and fontina cheese melted on top… 2 members of our party had the Dover sole which was deboned at the tableside. I also observed that many other dishes were also prepared at the tableside including the Caesar salad and I believe some of the pasta dishes. In my opinion, this is what makes Arturo’s so special. l sampled my wife’s deboned Dover sole which was the best I ever had… at $ 41… it was $ 10 less than the Dover sole at another nearby fine restaurant… yes ! I must be coming across as very gross by mentioning the cost of these expensive high end menu items as they pertain to refined dining… sorry about that… but I DON’T own one of those fine Bentleys parked outside. this upscale food emporium… finally, we capped our wonderful dining experience… ogling at the dessert cart .My wife and I enjoyed the Strawberry Shortcake and the Chocolate Mousse cake. I could say much more about this wonderful five star restaurant but I will save it for another day, because I can’t wait to get back and sample much more of Arturo’s fine menu. I am so sorry that I discovered Arturo’s so late in my Boca dining experience. OMG… almost forgot to mention our other server Hugo who was both unexpectedly funny and charming at the same time… keep up the good work Hugo. Both you and Carlos are to be lauded for enhancing our evening at Arturo’s.

I’m really not sure where to begin with this place. My girlfriend and I had dinner there on Sunday night. As soon as we walked in, it was difficult to breath, very stuffy, humid, uncomfortably so. I’m reading other reviews and people are comparing this place to NY, I lived in NY, there’s nothing to compare, at least not in a good way. This place looked like an old cruise ship; carpeting throughout, antiques on shelves, and a desert cart which by the way was out in the open for all to sneeze on, gross. This is considered«fine dining», our glasses were dirty at the table and the waiters would literally just stand right next to the table and watch us, very odd and awkward. The food was just ok, super pricey, for 2 glasses of wine, a pasta dish, a meat dish and dessert, $ 106 and like I said just ok. Don’t waste your time going here, very disappointed.

Just celebrated NYE at Arturo’s. At $ 175.00 a person I was expecting great food, music and service. The appetizer and pasta course we’re pretty good, but my Dover sole was inedible and luke warm coffee and a very mediocre flan soured the entire meal. The dance floor was very small and the singer/keyboard artist with recorded music was not conducive to dancing. I asked the person at the door if the food was better during the rest of the year and she indicated that it was blaming the prix fixe NYE menu. The appetizers are the only reason for 3 stars. We will be avoiding Arturo’s in the future.

The food is really good. The wine list is a bit ridiculous, it’s the size of an encyclopedia. The atmosphere is really stuffy, it’s like being in a Italian restaurant in New York — not really my style. Nonetheless, it’s pretty entertaining watching the northers. Parking is crazy, they have valet, but you can always park your car in the back to avoid this fuss.

Great ambiance and good food. If you want to impress your date this is the place to go as it caters to the mature clientele, The service was good and the appetizer tray was interesting and the breads were deelish. Both the wifey and I enjoyed our meals as did our friends who have frequented this place often. All in all a very pleasant dining experience.

The best of the best. Everyone there was super. The food was once again tops. Another memorable evening returned after 20 + years to celebrate our 34th anniversary. The tiramisu was just as I remembered. My first time having it was here. An explosion of wonderful and multiple favors in my mouth. Never satisfied by any other, anywhere. Italian done right. Italian fit for a King. Grazie to Arturo’s.

Arturo’s is a Boca Raton institution, not a word you use casually. This restaurant, you may or may not know, is owned and operated by a lovely, Italian family. They are through and through the embodiment of hospitality, inside and out of the business. The quality of the service and food are of the highest integrity. I live in New York now and every time I am in South Florida I make it a point to eat here — it is singular; even in New York, i have not found a place like Arturo’s. Thank you.

Flash with no substance. Definitely did not get what you paid for. Service was ok but quality of the meal did not live up to the billing

They ruined our anniversary! Filet mignon was over cooked. I had to get up and inform the staff. My boyfriend ate his entre slowly and was finished before anyone even approached me. I had to once again get up and look for the captain to inform him of what had happened. He did not inform the staff so once again I had to inform them to bring us the check. With tip it was $ 100. I ate soup bread and had a couple of Cosmo’s for dinner! The third and last time we eat at Arturo’s Boca Raton Florida!

Great food, great atmosphere and great service! Best Italian food in South Florida. I recommend the rice balls and the appetizer cart. Most authentic Italian food in all of south Florida. They have live music and all waiters and servers are friendly and professional !

Very high end. Please dress formal/semi formal. Don’t walk in here with your bathing suit and flip flops. Arturo’s is one of the oldest and still successful restaurants in the North Boca area. The staff are very knowledgeable, patient, professional, and caring. The owner appears once in awhile to greet you and your party. I had the opportunity to dine here with friends one evening(it was the last day that they were going to be open; they will be closed until August I believe), there were many special occasions going on at the same time and that is one of the things that is neat about this restaurant. It’s perfect for a wedding reception, a birthday celebration, a business dinner, an anniversary date, impressing your first date. The food is phenomenal. Both land and sea food are off the charts. Fresh, flavorful, and great presentation. I don’t mean to boast but this is coming from someone who dined in for her first time with Arturo’s. There really isn’t one thing that I can say poorly about this place. If you haven’t been here yet, you must try it out. My favorite thing has to be when the servers bring out the desserts and it is on a cart with three shelves(It reminds me of dim sum but Italian style lol).

Party of 8 in the piano room June 29 for husband’s 65th birthday. Service was OUTSTANDING. Food superb. Ambiance perfect. They hung a HAPPYBIRTHDAY banner at large corner table, sprinkled birthday confetti on table and provided very large chocolate mousse birthday cake personalized for Paul. Wine service exceptional. Accommodated my specific off the menu requests for my strictly restricted HIT diet. There on Monday night so not crowded; conversation easily heard even across the large table with pianist. Evening could not have been more perfect. Been here several times and each one was A++.

The food was delicious. Presentation is great, appetizer cart… wonderful. However, An easy hour meal turned into 2 and a half for 2 people. Unfortunately the service is lacking, waited a half hour to order the apps, got our food another half hour and the server is now disappears yet again and going on 25 for dessert. Terrible service. For a place of this caliber… service is horrible, utter cluster fuck. Five star for food and generously giving 3 overall. r

Absolutely Spectacular! I don’t know how this place doesn’t get 5 stars from everyone. We had a family dinner here(5ppl) and everyone loved it! Here are some notes: Service: Our waiter was so great, we asked for his name so we can request him when we return(it was Carlos, in case you were wondering). He was funny, engaging, and very sweet & professional. It was quite crowded, so there was a delay in getting our order taken, but not enough to complain about. Food: holy smokes we were blown away! We ordered the octopus tartare special, caprese, prosciutto+melon, Caesar salad for 2, linguine with clams, veal Marsala, other veal dish with prosciutto that I can’t think of the name right now, tiramisu, other dessert cart item, and the tableside bananas foster. Would not change a thing. Not a single thing. From what I had, the best app was the prosciutto with melon appetizer, both veal dishes were awesome, and bananas foster was so cool to watch him make from scratch and, more importantly, very delicious. Ambience: Classic, old school Italian. Dress is rather nice. There was a pianist playing in the background and at times someone would sing as well from Sinatra to Unchained Melody to idk. There was the sweetest elder couple dancing the waltz every so often too. It was adorable. Then — FLAMES! They will make some of the dishes(like the bananas foster) tableside for you and light the fire nice and big for dramatic effect. It’s pretty stinkin cool. Price: well worth it. Then again, I wasn’t paying. Either way, this place is worth a 2nd, 3rd and 4th trip. Maybe too expensive for a regular date night, but perfect for an occasion(like my next birthday or anniversary dinner!)

Had a client dinner here and it was very enjoyable. I used to frequent Arturo’s back in the 90’s when I lived in the area and not much has changed(in a good way). The atmosphere here is romantic and upscale. They have a piano player which makes it even more special. The service is impeccable with servers who have been here for years. They start off with bruschetta and bring over olives and fresh cheese — all delish. One of my most favorite things here is their appetizer cart — it has grilled vegetables, seafood salad, olives, grilled eggplant, roasted peppers, and their famous, delicious torta — which is a must try — don’t ask — just have it. For dinner I had veal Milanese — which is a veal chop, pounded thin, topped with arugula salad which was wonderful. My co-diner had branzino, which was wonderful. What I love here is dinner is always a relaxing, unrushed experience. After dinner we shared a dessert from their amazing dessert cart(crème brulee). Oh, and their wine list is amazing. Still a classy place for a great dinner.

I am very surprised at some of the negative reviews on this site. This place is fabulous ! Excellent service and food, and what a great wine list. Ok not a bargin hunters place but prices where very fare. This will be our new go to place. I had Zuppa D’ pecse and my wife had the whole Bronzino both where terrific we started with an assortment of appetizers from the cart and everything was very good. Finished with freshly stuff cannoli and we were bogged Wowed. If you like a Italian restaurant with old world charm this is it !

We found Arturo’s accidentally, after shopping nearby. It looked like a nice place from the outside, so we tried it. I could not be happier! This was the best Italian meal I’ve had, anywhere in the world. It’s a white-linen environment, chandeliers, waiters in tuxedos… but I was in shorts. Even so, the staff made us feel welcome and tended to our every need. Our waiter, Giovanni, was superb and very friendly. The enormous cart of appetizers is not to be missed — try one or try all, it is by the plate. Definitely try the torte. For main course I had the Dover Sole, it was flawless. Fresh and light, w/a delicate sauce. The Tira Misu was exemplary, made as it should be without shortcuts. I couldn’t ask for more. I can’t wait to go back again and again. Also of note, the piano player knew every Sinatra song ever written, having accompanied him in the past. He was really good, though the electronic background was not really necessary. The maître d was a bit haughty, but I wasn’t dressed, and I actually like to have a little bit of aloofness. To me it says that he is guarding the gate to something special, and I feel that is what we found at Arturo’s.
