The best bagel, breakfast sandwich you will find in South FL. This is one of my favorite breakfast/​lunch spots, the chicken salad is amazing! Inside is incredibly clean and well kept. The owners, Jim and Patti are fantastic. This is a must try if your in the Boca area!

Bagel wit a Schmear is my favorite bagel shop in Boca Raton! The only bad thing I can say is that they are not open on Mondays and that is usually when I am craving their bagels the most. Support local business and come enjoy their delicious bagels!

coming from ny they are just ok, very much like a roll shaped like a bagel. Note they
close when they run out. Went on a Sunday at 11:30 am and the owner slamed the door
in my face and put up a sign that they were out of bagels. The woman behind the counter
is pleasant

Decent food but the service is horrendous. I have personally witnessed the owners berate customers for ridiculous things such as not throwing away a paper plate and for asking for something to be served as advertised on their board. The owners need to wake up and realize that they are in the business of serving their customers, not the other way around. Will not go back or recommend this place to anyone.

If I want bagels in East BOCA this local family owned business is it. They are fast, friendly and clean. I pickup from here at least once a week.

I have never experienced anything so unprofessional and childish from any «respected» establishment in my life.
I have seen owners of restaurants humbly apologize by way of reply to that persons review, so as to try to fix the situation… but never this… confrontational & attacking
Honestly this wouldn’t happen In the west coast — Only in Florida (tho I will give the owner a benefit of a doubt that she’s obviously never been there.)
A little honey goes a long way — so don’t bite the hand that feeds you (your customers pay your bills and feed your children)

I’ve frequented Bagel Wit a Schmear for years, and they are one of my favorite bagel places in South Florida. They make excellent bagels while their customized bagel sandwiches are delicious. A great place to stop and grab breakfast before heading to work.

I just moved here from NY and have not been able to find a bagel! I had almost bought into the «water» argument until I came here! This is the BEST bagel in Florida, hands down! I arrived on a weekday at about 10:30am and there were very few bagels left. Have a sense of urgency if you get a craving! The cream cheese was not all that generous, soI guess I’ll have to ask for extra next time. I will certainly be a regular here.

Comforting, nostalgic, and delicious are the three words that come to mind regarding Bagel Wit a Schmear.
My family and I have been customers since they first opened and have seen their business blossom and expand. It probably took me so long to review because (selfishly) I didn’t want to give up our spot! The bagels are always on point, and my husband has the credentials to judge as he is a former New Yorker ;) I love that it is a family owned and operated business. Patty runs the front and knows me by name as well as our entire families’ usual order, even the specifics such as «no cheese on my husband’s bagel and extra toasty». Her hubby runs the kitchen (wish my man could cook like that!!!)
If you want the best bagels in town, you have to come by for a home-​cooked-​meal-​feeling with no dishes to clean. The Our Father is my fave (juicy thinly sliced turkey with egg, cheese, tomato on a toasted wheat bagel). If your guy wants a meatier option, try the Taylor Ham and Egg.
Don’t forget to ask for yours TOASTED!

Good food just need to make the biscuits and gravy more than just early came in at 9am and they had already ran out that’s the whole reason I came in there

We stopped in randomly this morning while headed out of town. The place is large and is quite unique. The folks working there were quite friendly. We ordered a bagel sandwich with everything on it, can’t recall the name. It took a bit for our sandwich to come out, so if you are in a hurry, this place may not be for you. When we got our sandwich, we were fairly happy with it. The egg, cheese, and meat were all done well, but we found the bagel a little tough. We still enjoyed it and would stop again.

Some of the best bagels in South Florida. This is a mom and pop shop. They make all their bagels that morning and they close when they sell out. This is not your corporate bagel place and you can’t expect that. This is what gives this place it’s charm.
Great bagels and sandwiches, with some interesting twists on the menu. Their cream cheese and nova is also top notch. Try a sandwich called the Elite Member which had bagel, egg, nova, and cream cheese. I get this all the time.

This place is a great find. Amazing fresh and great tasting food for breakfast and lunch. The owners are great people that know everyone by their first name after just a few visits. Once you go once you’ll be hooked.

YOU HAD ONE JOB! Came here at 1:20pm on a Wednesday with a friend, place was almost out of bagels! Very slim pickings in the bagel options during when I came, so I got a bialy with sausage, egg, and cheese on it. End result was very good, as it tasted delicious; best breakfast sandwich I have had in a while. Having said that, I probably would have enjoyed it much more with a bagel of my choosing rather then having to take whatever was leftover from the day. The menu itself was full of breakfast and lunch options, so definitely a good variety to choose something for everybody. My friend also said he liked his Chicken Caesar Salad, and it was a nice portion with a good amount of chicken on it.
Atmosphere was a very mom-​and-​pop type place, with an actual duo to match it. The woman took our order, and the man in the back made it; seemed like they were the only two people working in the store. Pricing was decent, but could have been a bit more low cost, mainly on the lunch items. Not having many bagel options really killed the experience for me, but I would be very open to coming back to Bagel Wit a Schmear and giving it another chance.
