Updated review addressing the comment from Beyond Nice. Interesting how different the response is here on Unilocal than the one I got on Amazon. The responses are totally inconsistent. Fortunately the facts remain consistent. But I’ll re-address some of the issues I already clearly addressed on amazon. When I wrote the Unilocal review, I had not heard any response from Beyondnice. Eventually they did respond. My email correspondence with them was full of emails from me having to prod them along with follow ups like, «Have you received my last few emails?» and«How’s my request coming along?»(Actual pastes from my emails. That’s not really what I call being responsive.) With the hours I spent measuring and sending them countless pictures at their request, and following their instructions to a T, here are two pastes of emails they sent me regarding my measurements and the design of my spa: «It is really hard when your side(s) are not straight to determine where the corner starts.» And«Yes, I do see what you mean. The one side does not seem straight!» Yet, in their public post, they claim that the problem was my measuring. Their emails do not corroborate this claim. The issue here is simple. My spa(like many others) isn’t a perfectly shaped square. As clearly shown in my pictures I sent, the radius varied based on where the t-square was placed. I actually had a friend of mine who is a carpenter check my tub and measurements and confirmed the variations I got. He said they were perfectly normal, that my measurements were completely accurate, and any competent manufacturer should have been able to take the information I gave and come up with a cover that fit. My initial review stands, despite the repeated«confusion» from beyond nice about the facts and their inconsistent responses depending on what website they are posting to. I am not the only customer who has had these concerns. I wish I had listened more carefully to the other poor review I read where there were the exact same issues and not wasted the hours of my time ordering a cover that was never going to end up being manufactured. This response has again taken a lot of my limited time so that I could present the facts, but I want others to be able to make an informed decision before taking the risks of ordering from«Beyondnice.»
