I love coming to this place. Their $ 5 Wednesday Burger is a steal. There is a lot of choices on the Happy Hour Menu which are quite good too. I had my bf’s Birthday Surprise party here. It was very fun. There is a special almost everyday. Yummy food and beer. Recommended wholeheartedly.

Very hip and lively with lots of great music and bands. The food is great also I had a chicken burger with arugula and mushroom. VERYGOOD. My favorite band Army Gideon provided good vibes the whole night last Saturday night.

The beer… It’s beer. Best drink ever. The help. They are great! Elaine, Dan, Prescott, Travis, and Scott. They were able to create a memorable experience that I won’t soon forget. Even though the bar was crowded the level of service was excellent!

I love this place! It’s a regular stop after work because if the hours of operation. Beer flights are a great way to try all the beer on tap. Giant pretzel is a must. All the bartenders are great and offer awesome advise. If you’re in Mizner and love beer. This is definitely a stop to consider.

Authentic and delicious! We’ve been coming here for over a year and have never had a bad experience. Our German friends liked the food here, which is a great endorsement. Even better, everyone I bring here loves it. Today I brought another new customer and she was beyond delighted. Three of us shared the pretzel, Cobb salad, charcuterie platter, Brie and kasespatsle(sp). Everything was devoured. It’s nice that they also have a great beer selection including a rotation of local brews.

Great selection of beers, but since we were with a car club the selection of food was limited…(and it was too expensive for what we got) So, probably a good idea to try it as regular diners.

I will be fair and give this place 3 stars. We called and made a reservation for 6. When we called, the person who took the reservation then advised 6 was great because Happy Hour was from 5 to 7. Our reservation was on a Saturday, there is no Happy Hour. We arrived and were seated outside. Nice view of the parking lot and very uncomfortable chairs(we were seated at a high top table). Our server quickly greeted up, we ordered a couple of their specialty drinks which were $ 10 each. I wasn’t blown away, but they were mixed well. We got the cheese fries and pretzel as appetizers. The pretzel was huge and came with 4 different dipping sauces, all were very good! I highly recommend getting the pretzel. The cheese fries were bland. We ordered a chicken schnitzel and the wurst platter to share. I split the schnitzel with a friend, I was having a hard time cutting my chicken with a steak knife and she was able to cut her piece with a butter knife. Something was wrong with mine, it was chewy and gross, hers was very good. We called over the only waiter we could find and he replaced my piece of chicken with a new one. The only issue was that with the wait, the other sides got cold, so I wasn’t able to enjoy my meal, normally when the main item has an issue, the entire plate gets replaced. The wurst platter was ok, it would have been nice if it came with buns for the wurst. Overall, I did enjoy the food, service was decent, the location is a little awkward for sitting outside. Another note, parking is tough, very tight parking lot with minimal parking, but there is valet available. Overall, 2 appitizers, 2 meals, 4 mixed drinks and 2 beers, the total with tip was around $ 130.00.

Started with potato pancakes, Warsteiner Dunkel, then onto Warsteiner Oktoberfest and Sauerbraten. Sat at the bar, two friendly attentive barmaids in Dirndl tops took great care of me. Loved the German bier selection. Pancakes were great with apple chutney and sour cream. Sauerbraten was ok. Beef should be falling apart, had to use steak knife to cut, not as flavorful tasting as it should be.

Came on Monday evening and met with a very small group. They have a good happy hour(select $ 4 drafts), plus $ 1 brats on Mondays. Unfortunately they were out of several of the beers I requested from their menu. The brats come plain, toppings other than mustard are extra. They’re decent size, nice rolls. A guy at my table ordered some fries with beer cheese and I noticed they really skimped on the cheese. Service was fine. I’d return but only on another Monday for the $ 1 brats.

Happy hour made me happy. Stella on tap was only 4 dollars til 7 and then went up 3 dollars. I found that a bit steep for a draft. but you are in Boca. so be prepared to pay extra… we also had some appletinis which were made with grey goose. really tasty but I dont think the 12 dollars per drink was that much for a martini! We started off with the pretzel which was gigantic. Liptauer, cherry mustard and regular yellow mustard were the dips and for an extra 2 bucks we added bier cheese. We devoured it. It was a fantastic appetizer. We followed suit and ordered their Fondue! OMY(elp) in front of us was a huge wooden board with fries, kielbasas, bratwurst, breaded and deep fried mushrooms and broccoli. My only complaint is that our stomachs werent big enough to finish it all off… it was solid and very delicious! The décor(if you have never been) looks like octoberfest with wooden tables and decorations along with a loft above the inside dining area where on weekends they have live music. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We started off inside and moved to the patio after finishing our meal and had a chocolate cappuccino for dessert. I added a shot of godiva chocolate to mine. Our waiter Chris was really helpful the entire evening even helping my friend out to the car. The manager even sent us a round of baileys irish cream shots which we thought was really cool of him. I have eaten her many times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I would recommend this fun happening restaurant to anyone looking for a fun german type feel and setting. I almost forgot we split the iceberg wedge which has a tasty 1000 island dressing and crumbled hard boiled egg on top and bacon bits. Thanks again for a great meal, we left like stuffed sausages. You know I will be back and make sure to ask to sit with chris he was a great waiter!

First impression not good. Sticky and gross table top, like maybe a beer or two worth of dried beer on it, not a busy night so no reason it was not wiped down. Staff appears to be missing for long periods of time, not that big of a deal but for such a large place, a bit uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Ordered a brawt and fries. Very good brawt, a little on the small size for my experience a beer garden. The sauerkraut was nice too, but a small portion and for some reason served on top of the brawt. Fries were perfect cooked and nice and salted. The giant pretzel was SUPER salty, like inedible salty. A collection of dipping sauces: cheese, mustard, dijon, others ALL salty as well, like when they salted the pretzel they must have salted the dips too: inedible. Ordered a glass of local brew, 3 monks something. Tasted like it was brewed with salt. I guess someone didn’t like me there? Won’t be returning which is too bad since they are walking distance from my house.

Came on a Sunday evening. Sat outdoors faced North Federal Hwy. The staff and servers are friendly and punctual. The hostess carried bug spray(how considerately sweet & prepared). Outdoor seating and interior design decorations were really well thought out(almost like a matching masterpiece of an artwork). If you can handle the busy traffic noise and the Floridian bugs, then try dining outdoors. When the server handed out drinks, the shape of the mugs were very intricate. it almost reminded me of a beehive and what made it even more interesting was how it looked with beer poured into it. What I liked most about the outdoors was the monument across from the German restaurant, it lit up in different colors. I still haven’t figured out what it is yet but it is beautiful. Back to the food! To be honest, I found the appetizers and desserts more scrumptious than the wursts, is that a bad sign? My guests and I tried almost every appetizer on the menu, even the soups and cucumber salad were really well presented. The pretzel is humongous and served with three types of mustard sauces. However, my favorite is still the traditional yellow mustard. I wish I had provided food photos, which I normally do, but there was not enough lighting outdoors and I was not going to submit poor quality photos about really yummy food.

We happened by this place while in Boca Raton on business. This is an authentic German restaurant/beer garden. We were driving and skipped on the beer, but the German food was very tasty and reasonably priced. I would definitely try it again when I am in town.

My first 3 visits here were about 18 months ago and to say the meal went well would be an asinine lie… 1stVISIT Our waiter told us that we came in on a good day because it happened to be «1 Dollar Brats» special going on, so we picked a couple different brats and sat patiently… hmmm, where are those brats. The waiter returned to take our entrée order; so we ordered a couple entrees and just assumed those brats were coming any minute… but they never did. The meal was riddled by errors left and right, like the wrong beers brought to us and took forever to get a check at the end of our meal. The only saving grace was the abundance of great beer on tap. 2ndVISIT(1WEEKLATER) Even though the brats never came on that first visit, the food was good and I really wanted to try these«1 Dollar Brats». We ordered a couple brats(again) and requested a typical condiment but was surprised to be told the condiment(forget what I asked for) was an additional 1.50… I say to the waiter«that’s more than the brat itself» and his reply was shocking and ironically funny… «That’s where we get you». Probably not the best thing to say; kinda felt like he was saying HaHa we’re gonna screw you now. DEEPTHOUGHTS The food so far has been consistently good and the service is SUPERFRIENDLY and yet kinda awkward(something about male waiters wearing red leiderhosen). The problem is the mistakes and screw-you pricing on the specials(1.50 for condiments for a 1.00 brat)… but then again I enjoy the atmosphere(indoor seating feels open and outdoors, the outside is comfortable, the décor is german influenced and the people that work here are great)… okay, worth another visit then… 3rdVISIT Ordered myself a Brat and Knockwurst Platter… BUT the waiter brought out a single brat and a single knockwurst. When I point out the error that the PLATTERISMISSING his reply is another head scratcher… «Sorry, sometimes the guys in the back don’t read the tickets orders. I told him I was surprised he didn’t notice the mistake before taking it to me… seemed more like blaming others for his mistake. When the bill came, it had the platter AND the single brats. I know it’s a simple mistake but when added to the other errors, it just gets old. I had to say AUFWIEDERSEHEN(German for goodbye)… 1YEARLATER With all that negativity(which I drafted a long time ago as a 2 star review), you’d think I’m done with this place but I’m a self-confessed glutton for punishment so I once again returned. But wait… what’s this… a meal with good food and service and ZERO complaints. It’s true and not just one visit; I’ve been back a few times and have had no issues at all. Love that they have matured from that 2 star initial review. SUGGESTEDSPECIALS Check their website for food and beer specials… my go-to daily special is of course the«1 Dollar Brat» on Mondays(just don’t order the $ 1.50 condiments). Sundays also offer a worthwhile daily special; ALLDAYHAPPYHOUR(featuring draft beers for 4 dollars, well-drinks for 5 bucks and house wines for 6 dollars). Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays feature live music… MYGO-TODISHESANDMORESUGGESTIONS STARTER: As much as I love those Potato Pancakes, I think my suggested starter would be the Giant Pretzel… comes with great house-made mustards and a beer-cheese dip… put one on the table and share SLIDERS: Hands down easy choice… Pastrami Sliders with sauerkraut and grain mustard(the others are good but this one is great; especially considering how hard it is to find good pastrami in South Florida). SALADS: Don’t waste my time. WURSTS/BRATS: So many to choose from… I guess I would lean on the Chicken Apple seasoned with cranberry and fennel; topped with apple chutney and caramelized onions. Of course traditional choices like Knockwurst and Bratwurst will not disappoint either. SANDWICHES: No contest, Black Forest Ham and Cheese with cherry mustard and cole slaw. HAUPTGERICHT(ENTREES): Schnitzel is probably the most popular entrée but I was more impressed with the Beef Sauerbraten(vinager braised beef with gingersnap demi-glacé) and the Spätzle(on the menu as Käsespätzle which is a german version of a pasta/dumpling dish) THEEND

I first ordered a Warsteiner beer which came to me in a good heavy frosted glass mug. A quick laser gun check of the liquid content temperature(I can really be a detailed fussy pain in the ass) revealed it to have a near perfect serving chill of 42.5 degrees Fahrenheit which pretty much indicated to me that they do in fact know, have and use near perfect biergarten serving temperatures; a real plus compared to some other beer serving establishments. For my meal I ordered their sauerbraten which came accompanied with a traditional potato dumpling and red cabbage. As best I was able to discern, the sauerbraten was of a beef rump or bottom round that had been marinated in a base of red vinegar, red wine, or both along with a combination of varying spices and herbs that gave it, at least to my sense of taste, a slight but distinctive aromatic overtone the precise ingredients of which I was unable to discern. Having had the pleasure of dining at the original Luchow’s location in New York, I tend to compare any sauerbraten dish with what was served there, which I consider to have been the best sauerbraten to have been served anywhere… sorry to tell you Germany. My only complaint might be that the meat itself seemed overly course, somewhat stiff and on the dry side. However, knowing that there are so many varying regional tastes and differences in this German dish, I won’t yip all that much about that. As for the restaurant itself, though housed in one of Boca’s seemingly endless phony looking Mediterranean styled(sorry about that Addison) structures, the interior really does exude a charm and appearance much like the biergartens of Germany. Matter of fact, when seated inside, I wouldn’t really know.

Authentic German food, fun atmosphere, and lovely locale. It is beautiful inside with all the wood trim and the deer antler chandelier greeting you as you walk in(okay, that part was a bit creepy perhaps, though I have yet to find out if they are real antlers). It is well-situated and parking is easy, at the plaza’s parking lot, or you can street park next to the restaurant. You also have the option of outdoor dining, if you really want that full garden experience. My friends and I ordered an assortment of food and loved it. My goulash was oh so tender and flavorful, as well as filling. My friend enjoyed his Wurst platter, as it was flavorful, tender, juicy and fresh, not dry or reheated. The desserts were absolutely delicious as well, especially the to-die-for apple strudel! Service was great, friendly, and attentive(thanks to our server, named Batman!). If you’re looking for German food in the Boca area, search no more!
