Boca Blinds

We had blinds installed for our entire house and they did a great job. Was expensive but worth it. The 2-​star rating is because when I called them for a repair on a set of blinds a few years later they did not even return my phone calls. I wound up calling «Barry Dickman», who has a blinds-​repair company, and he did an excellent repair job. A couple years later I decided to call Boca Blinds for a different repair and, once again, they never returned my calls.

I checked out Boca Blinds because I needed to get a single custom blind for my townhouse. When I called, the owner seemed to be ‘put-​off’ by the fact that I needed only 1 blind. She was extremely condescending and arrogant as well as unprofessional. What she doesn’t know is that I am house-​hunting and I may have likely used her business for my entire house, but no longer! I would never deal with someone of her character, nor give her my business. Extremely poor customer service!

The two bad reviews seem kind of extreme and petty so I wanted to chime in. We purchased a new home and hired BB based on a referral. They were great from start to finish. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and responsive. The install crew was quick and professional. Overall, we are very happy. Certainly no complaints.

I purchased Hunter Douglas blinds from Boca Blinds 2 years ago. I had no problems placing the order or with the installation. Everything went smooth and uneventful… well, that was until today that I had the misfortune of calling to ask if I could PURCHASE a part that broke… to be more specific, the part was a plastic piece that is attached to the end of the pull. The woman that answered the phone Cindy was anything but helpful and extremely RUDE! This was over a .75 cent part, possibly less.
I called Hunter Douglas directly, told them the experience I had with Cindy from Boca Blinds. They apologized on her behalf, and delivered the part free of charge. 5 Unilocal stars to Hunter Douglas!

I had shades put in my office by them which developed an odor that my patients and staff complained about. Boca Blinds brought the shades to their rep and then they told me that they could not smell what everyone else did. They offered no compensation back and were not very eager to help me purchase new blinds! I went elsewhere!
