Worst Experience EVER! I’ve been shopping at this store since I was 5 years old. I’m 22 now. I’ve been a nanny for a family for quite some time now and the mother asked me to take her daughter in to get second hole ear piercing. The said since I was over 18 I could sign the guardian waiver. I walk into the store (Town Center Boca) at ~4pm. There was only one employee. She was african-​american and roughly 25+ years of age. From the second we walked in she was ridiculously RUDE. I approached her ask asked to get ears pierced. She point to front of store and said «piecing is up front». We walked to the front and waited. There wasn’t another customer in the store. We waited for 10 minutes while she just stood at the POS and slammed things around. I finally asked her if she was the girl doing piercing and she said, «yes». We asked about the cost of earrings and she again was totally RUDE. Every pair we showed her she said «those are $ 56…again and again no matter what pair. ok… that seems a bit odd. THEN she proceed to tell us to leave and she wasn’t going to do the piercing. We asked why and she said, «because you’re not her Mom and I don’t want to». This girl actually scared the little girl with me to the point of crying… ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This type of behavior is unacceptable and Claire’s should be embarrassed to have any employee like this person represent their brand! JUST AN AWFUL PERSON! Never going back!

The Claire’s in Town Center, Boca, is nicer and bigger than the 3 locations we frequent «up North». It’s a shame they were so crowded and that the staff were not very friendly.
Yet, this did not preclude my 8 year old from snagging a load of sparklie hair acccessories and cute dangly earrings.
An 8 year old’s paradise.
