2nd time here, ordered the matzo ball soup and egg salad sandwich. Great both times. Everything’s fresh made daily. I’d go here any day over a panera.

Standard but well-prepared Diner breakfast food. What makes this place stand out is the service. Our server went out of his way to make our experience pleasant, even bringing us a couple of samples from the deli case when he heard us talking about the chopped liver! My only criticism regarding the menu– provide sugar-free pancake syrup!

Where is the option for negative stars? I’m still furious at the service I received today. After being ignored at the takeout counter I was finally served by the only friendly and competent staff member here. After finishing packing up the order, he left me to the surly and rude waiter to cash me out. My $ 23 order was rung up as $ 29. After running my card, I asked to see a detailed receipt and was refused! I said I was overcharged and the waiter turned around and walked away! Then I was ignored by multiple staff while the other person in line with me commented on the bad service. The original person who served me came back, I told them the problem and he told the waiter to take care of it… Who then gave me stink eye the entire time while figuring out my refund, gave me the cash and walked away without an apology. Mistake or deliberate I don’t know, but I won’t be back which is too bad because it tasted pretty good and the listed prices are lower than most area deli shops assuming you’re not over charged.

Hands down the best NY deli in Boca. Fresh homemade soups, overstuffed sandwiches and it’s clean!

Like walking into a Real Deli in NYC. Had the Pastrami on Rye with Deli Mustard. Good. She had the Chicken Salad on a Salad as she is Gluten Free, Good. Sour pickles, Good. Homemade Vinaigrette, Good. Excellent service, very nice people.

Rude and slow service. It was empty, more employees then customers and they’re still slow. They messed up my order twice and laughed about it. Portions are small and low quality. My hero was soggy and had hardly any meat and one slice of cheese. It’s also dirty as hell. They need to hire better staff.

What a fucking dump. Floors are filthy. The staff are nasty the guys that prep the food are sweaty and smoke out the back door. This place deserves a negative score. The best way to clean this joint is to set it on fire. NEVERAGAIN !!

I found this place a few years ago and it is just as great today. They make the freshest sandwiches that can be found. On my way to the beach, I always stop here and take a sub or two along. They are fresh so they keep a couple hours in the cooler and taste just as good as when made. Great service, friendly people and reasonable prices. Wish there were more places this great !!

Good service, friendly waiters, good soup sometimes a bit salty so ask to taste first. I like their tuna sandwiches on rye or a toasted bagel with lettuce and Tom. They also serve breakfast but on plastic plates which I Am not so crazy about. My rating system you get 3 Chickens

My official breakfast spot! My food is always ready within minutes and exactly as I requested. Since discovering this place a few months ago, I actually haven’t gotten breakfast anywhere else.

This place was barely mediocre. I like to go for deli/Jewish food when I come visit and order my annual corned beef and chopped liver on rye. Amount of chopped liver was minuscule. Huge portion of corned beef, but it simply wasn’t very good corned beef. Rye was fresh. Potato salad bland. Service was pleasant and attentive and there are a few nice outdoor tables.

Naw dog. This was one of those«I keep driving by this place, lets check it out» shituations. Our $ 11.50 sandwiches came with the blandest potato salad known to man. There was a fair amount of «off the bone» turkey and pastrami on this ‘wich, but not nearly worth it. Service was good. Can’t see a reason to ever go back.

They are not service friendly and their portion of meat they give you makes you appreciate subway. To sum it up they have nothing you should try considering all the other delis around.

Ordered a brisket sandwich, and the brisket was OK, what there was of it. Small amount of meat near the front of the bread. Just came back from NYC where I ate at the Carnegie Deli. The sandwich had an enourmous amount of meat. A half was a meal. And it was delicious. There is no good deli in the Boca area. Until this deli learns to loosen up on its portions, I won’t be back

Had corned beef and pastrami sandwich. It was awful. Not good quality meats. The corned beef was as thin as paper and had zero taste. I’m from New York and a foodie and I have to say this does not cut it.(I honestly had to throw the sandwich out)

Maybe I missed the allure of this place but I found it bland and boring. Perhaps I am not part of their target demographic? :-)

I am not sure if there is a way to give it a .5 star to make it 2.5 stars, but as a longtime resident of this area, I have been to my fair share of delis — I even worked in one before. The food was okay, but the ingredients listed in the salads were not all served on the plate, and it seemed like the people answering the phone and running the front register area had attitudes with each other, which made for an unpleasant dine-in experience. We took out a salad and a cubano to others awaiting lunch, and the person eating the cubano said it was good, but that Panera’s was better.

I had to be in Boca and noticed Deli on Rye as I was driving by. I love deli food so I made a u-turn and went in to try. I totally loved the food! I first had a bowl of matzoh ball soup. It was delicious and tasted home made. It had a great flavor with chunks of chicken, fresh vegetables, and the lightest matzoh balls. Next I had the brisket sandwich. I never had such a good briskest sandwich other than from my mother! It was so tender and juicy. The owner Todd suggested that I have a side of au-jus to dunk the sandwich in. It was so delicious! It was a real surprise to find such good homemade food along Federal Highway in Boca. The only problem is that I live in Miami, and a little far from this great find. They were very caring about me having a good experience. I’ll be back soon!

If you want a cozy deli, where every customer is treated as a King, with amazing food and great prices, then this is the deli for you! It’s a quaint deli with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was so friendly that everyone said goodbye to us as we were leaving. I love Matzo Ball soup and I just had to try it. Holy Moly! This was by far the best Matzo Ball soup! Everything they make there is homemade, including the veggie cream cheese. We went there for breakfast and I had a veggie omlette with tomato slices and a whole grain bagel. Delicious! My husband ordered orange juice and it was freshly squeezed to each order! He had a breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it! I definitely recommend this restaurant! I loved the atmosphere!
