Hobby Lobby

Wow. What a surprise. When I need arts and crafts stuff I usually go to Michael’s. I had no idea that Hobby Lobby was like a Michael’s on steroids. The store seems at least 50% bigger with lots and lots of cool stuff for the hobbyist. I was only going their to pick up a soldering iron. I really need to get back here to shop around and come up with some cool home projects.
The prices seem pretty reasonable.
I didn’t see too many people working there, so it might be an issue if I needed some help. Too soon to tell, since I didn’t need any help.

Located on the corner of Palmetto and 441, this store is perfectly placed among Target, Dollar Store, Sally’s Beauty supply, Aldi. It is a recent addition, but already, very popular. It has brought life back into that space that once was Bealls.
I went on a Saturday night and was surprised to find many shopping carts readily available. Additionally, the staff was helpful and once there were more than two people waiting in line, they called for back up. This hobby lobby is very clean and it was easy to find items and their respective prices. Many departments such as wedding items, and decorative frames, were 50% off at the time of my visit.
This store receives a four star rating due to its friendly staff, clean and organized location and overall value of items. I discounted one star because I was not able to use 40% coupon on item that was already discounted. Additionally, the store is closed on Sundays.

Love this store… staff is friendly but could use more on floor that actually know where things are… great selection but could use more Halloween stuff… I know they are Christian and it’s not their thing… that’s okay :) the Christmas section is unmatched! It is amazing and their ornaments are amazing!!!

Love love love this store! As I read the only review that was written before this one I can only wonder, is this a Michael’s employee that hates the fact that this AMAZING store opened and it’s 1000 times better than theirs? Besides less expensive?.. I’ve been in this store a good 8 – 10 times already, specially when I was planning my vintage wedding back in November, I got 350 $ worth of decorations and signs for my wedding for ½ the price! I’m a bargain hunter but I love quality, and this store meets both! Not just that but the cashiers have always seem helpful, and I don’t really get why people get so upset when an employee can’t find something, I’m sorry idk about her but I’ve been an employee in retail and when a store is this big and the employees are new it takes some time to know everything to the very last detail!
So happy you guys opened near by!!! Bye Michael’s and any other crafting store!

Love this place and I want to buy everything that is on it, personally I think is better for décor than crafts if you want a good craft place go to Michaels
Their selection is awesome and it’s one of the only few places that you can find awesome Cristian decoration and with bible quotes, they always have some kind of sale flooding on which can be just a catch of marketing

Love this store! Their deals and selection of supplies and products are amazing! I was able to find most of my vintage wedding décor and materials, including invitations and large iron easels in one stop. They even have an extensive selection of glass supplies for stained glass projects; an atypical find. Returns and exchanges are straightforward and hassle-​free. The store is clean, large, organized and beautiful… Night and day from its competitors. I will surely be back!

Beautiful décor but not much of a craft or art selection, not much staff around to help customers search for items. Their blatant christian faith is a little pushy in my opinion. Not sure if this is my one stop shop for crafts, but I’ll keep this place in mind for wall décor.

Once my credit is used I will never shop at a hobby lobby again! Bought 90 dollars worth of letters. Went to return and lost my receipt. Paid cash. Manager stated can only give me a credit and they were currently on sale for 30% off. I bit the bullet and had to accept this. Keep in mind the letters were in perfect condition and their price stickers were still on! Found a few things, went back to returns then manager tells me she was wrong and it’s 50% off. WTF??? I became pissed and told the manager I was being treated like a criminal and I will never shop here again! Seconds later she apologizes and tells cashier to just take off the 30%. All in all their attitude was condescending, rude and holier than thou! Michaels is now my go too and I’ve got a big mouth so times my feelings by 20. That’s AT LEAST how many customers you’ve lost Hobby Lobby!!!

Yor shiny new store in Boca is just sad and having poor customer service in a service oriented town is NOT a good idea…
First visit, employees have NO IDEA where things are, an employereleaves to get me a price on something and never returns. Employees seem lazy and unhelpful… no greeting, no offers of helps, no smiles
Second visit, employees still have NO IDEA if or where things are, framing department not functioning because someone called out sick, my return took 23 minutes from start to finish and one item from my first visit was return at a reduced rate because the cashier on my first visit must have rung it up from a different department and they can’t give me full refund???, managers leaning, 4 employees and manager picking up a spilled rack of frames while I stand and wait and wait for help, wood items advertised as on sale but the signs are on a polyresin isle and I ask where wood is and manager points to the top of the shelf (out of reach) and I ask for a step stool so i may shop and he says there isn’t one, fall stuff reduced but no one knows if there is more in a different area… still no smiling, no greeting, no welcome.
Ugh…this store doesn’t seem like a place I would do business with frequently… had a Kmart employee feel.
