My family orders from this place on a regular basis, and for the most part their food is average at best. Tonight I shared an experience similar to Michele B., in which I placed an order for two meals and only received one that was prepared the way I had asked. Of course I called right away to notify of them of their error, and it would have been nice if they had simply apologized and offered to replace the botched part of my order but that’s not what happened. I ended up speaking to the person I placed the order with(i.e the person that messed up my order) and he argued with me over the details I gave regarding what I wanted. Long story short, they sent me a replacement order(close to closing time) and it was a disgusting mess. My sandwich was burn to a crisp and the fries were raw and sitting in a pool of oil. The«replacement» was so bad that there was no way it wasn’t prepared this way out of spite. I spoke to the manager(Vinnie), he said very little, gave me insincere apology and told me he would refund my money. As fickle as the restaurant business is, one would think they would put more effort into securing their customers by offering better customer service when something goes wrong. Overall, I’m done with this place.

As Greskha pointed out, this is no longer Rotellis, rather Venezia. Unlike her review, I can’t co-sign it. I thought Stallone’s was the worst pizza in Boca but this may take the title. Let me tell you what you need to know. This place at any given time never has anymore than 3 people in it and 2 of them are behind the counter. Nobody there is actually Italian making the Italian food, though most kitchens these days are the same. But best believe if I go into a Greek restaurant I’d prefer to know the food is being made by people who are Greek, ya know? There is nothing authentic or quintessential about their«Italian» food. The pizza is your typical average pie you can get in just about in any food court south of the Mason Dixon. Another thing that always stood out, and trust me I only know so much about this place after just two visits because every time I drive by I’m dumbfounded this place is still open. But if nobody goes there and I mean NOBODY, how fresh is the food really?

The changed their name to Venezia, but their pizza is still good. Extra cheese is really there, pull slice from the«pie» and strings of cheese will follow. Crust is not thick but still soft. Enough sauce to taste it but not overpowering, and generous on the They have several discounts, depending on the total of your order, still the other more advertised pizza places are a bit cheaper(but Venezia has a fresher taste) and they deliver. Just remember to order with time — delivery can take a while, about 45 minutes today. Can’t imagine a busy weekend…

On Wednesday August 11th, 2010, my family and I decided to go to Rotelli Mission Bay Pizza located on 20449 State Road 7, Boca Raton, FL33498 to have a good time. When we arrived around 9:15 p.m. we presented a coupon that we had received on the mail for $ 19.99. The Waitress stated that we could not dine in because the coupon specifically said«Take out or delivery», which was fine.
Well I asked the waitress if she could make an exception since I was with my whole family with two handicap kids and she kindly replied«I will go ask the manager». The waitress came back two minutes after saying that the manager said«No». So, we ordered the summer special anyway and said that we will take the food home. While waiting for the order, we sat outside on the table by the fountain. The waitress came back and said«we could eat at the table» and even offered to bring us paper plates, but she will not be able to serve us. We said great, what a nice idea. When the pizza was ready, I went inside to pay and the manager already had an attitude… So I brought the food back on the table and the manager came running outside saying«You guys need to leave and cannot eat out there», my mom replied«that’s all right we are leaving». The manager started to throw the chairs and the silverwares like a mad man. We were stunned and could not understand what was wrong with this nasty attitude while my dad was putting my niece and nephew on the wheelchair because they are handicap. The manager threw another chair again. We told him that he was rude and next time we will go somewhere else because there are so many places where we can buy pizza. «Well, well, well» he replied«DONOTCOMEBACKHEREANYMORE» in front of the kids and my parents. In this year 2010, we are still encountering DISCRIMINATION, this is unbelievable. The next day around 6:30 p.m., I called the restaurant to get the manager’s name, he came on the phone and I told him that he was very rude to my family by his behavior the night before. I asked him three times for his name because I told him that I was going to report him not only he refused to give me his name and even denied that he said to us «DONOTCOMEBACKHEREANYMORE”(which was his exact words). I was in shocked to hear this lie now. I told him that he would hear from us and that this is discrimination and that I will report him to the headquarters of Rotelli Pizza because I don’t believe that it is Rotelli’s policy to discriminate. I hope that Rotelli’s management will investigate this incident and take proper legal action against this nasty manager otherwise we will.
I don’t accept anybody talking and disrespecting my family like that. Is it because we are black that the manager thinks that he can talk to us like that? That kind of attitude needs to stop. If I don’t hear from Rotelli’s headquarter in the next seven days, we will seek legal action and even report the incident to the news, which will not be a good publicity for the company. We just want everyone to be treated fairly and with respect

I had one of the worst experiences with the manager here. I ordered delivery and received one decent meal and one truly unacceptable meal. When I called to complain the manager said he would send the driver to pick up the horrible meal and they would refund the cost of that meal! I called back when no one came and the manager said the driver was off for the evening but he would refund the one meal anyway. I had to chase him for 3 weeks and put a dispute into my credit card to finally receive the refund. I will NEVER go back to this establishment.
