Jimmy John’s

This is one of my favorite Sandwich shops and I’m glad we live not too far! This is a popular spot for the Begum and me as we do like their sandwich combos. The bread is freshly baked and the quantities are generous but not overstuffed with meat which is what I like! Lots of toppings to add for free!
If you are on a low carb diet fear not they have an Unwich where they use Lettuce instead of the bread which is just as delicious and nearly as filling!
We will definitely be back and back and…

I went to Jimmy John’s for the first time yesterday because they were having a special $ 1.00 sub deal for several of their popular sandwiches. I got the roast beef with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. I ate it there after standing in line for a short while. It was very good. It wasn’t in the class of V&S Subs, but it was quite enjoyable. In this area there are many sub shops of varying quality that Jimmy John’s must compete with. This one is somewhere in the middle in comparison to the other restaurants in Boca. The staff was very friendly. It was clean, especially when you take into consideration the huge crowd. I had a very good time. I loved the sub roll and mine was perfectly dry, however Diane had a tuna sub that was a little soggy (she gave me a bite). I’m glad I got roast beef and a coke. It was just to my liking!

Clean looking place with friendly staff. It was my first time there and the attendant didn’t get annoyed that i didn’t know what i wanted like most places in Boca. He helped me order the «Everything tuna» which was basically a delicious tuna salad on a sandwich. the veggies are all crisp and fresh as they should be not like subway.

Worst sandwich place I’ve been, no answer at the drive through, drove up to window and 3 people walked by window and not even a look. Went inside for the blt sandwich, that my pregnant wife asked for and the person at the till said i couldn’t get extra sauce! Last time Jimmie!

I go here often… convenient and they have pickles! I think they could add more meat and have more options… subs are «bready» very fast and nice!

I love their subs. The staff is always freindly and fast. They put alot a of meat on the sub. Their subs are very cheap at $ 6.50. Compared to subway this is a better deal for the money. I realy dont mind paying alittle more to get a hardy sub.

Is a great alternative for me when I’m on my lunch break since they are so fast, we always get either the beach club sub or the tuna, its true the subs are not amazing but for me they do the job, when is come to the chips bbq and salt and vinegar are the best, the staff is great, attentive and fast and recently they had this even of all subs at 1 dollar they did a great job! I like this place and i would recommend it you want just a fast meal.

Of all the places in Boca to get a sub, I would not recommend Jimmy Johns. I tried this chain long ago and wasn’t pleased but I decided to give this location a chance since it opened near my home.
Value; for $ 5 you get this 8in sub that is pretty skimpy on meat, much like another sub chain we all know — subway. For a few bucks more, you can get a meat packed 12in sub from Laspadas Subs, 2 miles east. It’s worth the drive.
Taste — nothing special. Meat is pre-​cut and lacks flavor. Chip selection is limited to the Jimmy Johns brand chips. Don’t expect sour cream and onion or any other cool flavored chips.
Service: service was good. Girl behind the counter was very friendly and sub was made extremely fast.
Apart from the service, this place falls short. Plenty of alternatives to choose from in terms of sub shops.

Fast, friendly, clean and decent subs. So fast that last time I was handed my change at the same time as my sub.
When I go to Home Depot in the same place, I am now able to by pass the less than healthy hot dog stand. Could never resist before.:)

Their subs are basic. I ate here, wondered why I paid $ 6 – 7 for a sub I could have made at home, and never came back.

They got me to order the tuna club becausr it had provolone then forgot to add the cheese! too bad i took it to go… next time i will check!

Service is super fast, friendly and their prices are great. That said, the subs are unpretentious and extremely average. I don’t ever crave a Jimmy John’s like I do with Laspadas, V&S or even sometimes Subway (strictly for their bread). Jimmy John’s is just a good quick meal under $ 7 bucks.
The subs usually are a little bland and while their meats are fresh, they just don’t taste the same as the others. I don’t dislike this place, it’s just my 8^th or 9^th option if I want a sub. I think they’re too caught up in the fast service, that they don’t necessary put the proper care into making a sub. That or the reality is their products are just very vanilla. When I bite into a Lapasdas sub it’s like a party in my mouth and when I take a bite of Jimmy John’s I feel like I’m the only one at dive bar and all they have is Miller Genuine Draft on tap.

This place opened just recently and I finally got the chance to stop in.
I noticed they had a Roast Beef Sub and it brought back memories of this awesome roast beef sub that we used to get when I was in college from a place called Bubba’s Subs, in Towson, MD. It was AWESOME. Just thinking about that memory made my mouth water so Roast beef was on!!!
The sub was OK, maybe my expectations were just tainted by some crazy memory that probably was impacted by the fact that we usually ordered food late at night after a night on the town back in College? Still, haven’t yet found a «Fast Food» Roast Beef sub that compares!
The people were friendly and the service was fast.
Next time I will try something else and let you know how it goes!
