O’Brian’s Irish Pub

This is a very friendly place, which is rare for Boca. Great prices on both beer and cocktails, and the music is loud but not too loud. When I go to a bar I go to drink, not eat, so I didn’t eat but the smell from the kitchen was yummy.
I had a great time Friday night and I’ll most likely go back this Friday night.

Best bar in Boca. Go see Nick Martinez and Amber at the bar. Very quick and very knowledgable in innovative drinks. The staff is very respectful and professional.

Great place for college students on Tuesday nights they have a beer pong tournament for money and there is a huge turnout from all local colleges underage drinking is not permitted very strict on ID’s great drinks but kinda hard to get through the very crowded bar!

If you want large amounts of liquor and to be surrounded by bad (but very fun) singers go here on a Friday night. Friday night is their Karaōke and liquor pitcher nights and nothing in Mizner beats it. It does get really loud and crowded on those nights which isn’t everybody’s scene. Most other nights it isn’t quite as packed, so more ideal if you’re trying to avoid the «college bar» scene or want to sit and watch a game or something.

I see a few reviews about this place being a college bar but it must depend on the time of day. I went to watch a game during the late afternoon on a Saturday and felt it was a nice crowd not super young.
I liked that they had a bunch of high tops and easy to push together for groups. Tons of TVs to watch your favorite game and various drink specials!

Loved everything about it… great drinks (not to mention the prices), the good looking crowd was just right (not pretentious & not «out» there) The staff was amazing, I didn’t have to wait long for a drink even though they were pretty busy. A real unique & comfortable place to party, eat or just hang out.

This bar smells like an ashtray. The alcohol is switched with cheaper alcohol that makes people sick. The bar is full of underage kids with fake IDs. The owner Brian is rude and fake and not even Irish like he claims by the business name. Jameson’s pizza and grill which is also owned by brian. Their food is all frozen and smoiled rotten not to mention the chef touches the customers food with dirty hands that he smokes cigarettes with around customers food and he doesn’t even wash his hands after. I would not recommend anyone go there including my enemies.

Haven’t seen a place like this in Florida in a long time. Went there early afternoon killing some time. Dark and cool even with Temps in the high 90s and the front door propped open. Feels like a pub, good selection of beers, a few old timers at the bar staving off the shakes and smoking, a couple cute girls working and hanging out, and a few folks in between. Perfect day time «disappear for a while» type joint. I would try at night for sure. If I were meeting someone shady, hiding out, or with nothing else to do on an all too sunny day I would definitely come back early afternoon too.

O’Brians is the greatest bar ever. $ 7 Liquor pitchers with Karaōke on Fridays? Yes please. The owner Brian is the man.

This might be the only place in Boca that I ever felt resembled a college bar. Most of the patrons look extremely young and it can get stupidly crowded with drunk boys attempting to flirt with even more wasted girls. If you just want to go and feel like you’re 20 again, definitely stop by this place on a Friday night. Otherwise, probably not the bar to hang out at. I mean, they have liquor pitchers.

O’Brians is probably my least favorite bar now that I am not in college. They still allow smoking in this bar so usually by the end of the night I leave smelling like an ashtray. I never liked this as I got older because I hated going to Mizner Park smelling like that. The pitcher is the best deal and probably the most liquor I have ever drank in my life. The staff are super friendly, but it gets crazy busy here. When it’s busy you are being pushed and man handled all over the place and I cannot stand that. I would definitely got to a different bar if I was in the area here.

If it wasn’t for Greshka, I probably would have never came here. It’s been a few years since I’ve been out on St. Patrick’s Day. It was packed, which is no surprise since all Irish pubs are on that fabulous holiday. The outside was filled with beer and liquor as well as drunkards and a live band. Luckily, the ladies got a spot at the bar near the entrance when I got there. The craziness continued inside as well. The bartenders went nuts trying to get everyone their drink orders with a jam packed bar. It’s understandable when there is a celebration going on. The thing I didn’t like about the place is that you can smoke in there. Gotta smoke? Take it outside and avoid the inside smelling like ashtray. Of course, it’s not my bar, so I don’t make the rules. However, it was a great time with some great friends.

Place is packed. great music. not so packed where you can’t move. just busy enough to be arm length away from the next patty partier… cool little spot. oh yeah.I can smoke inside the bar .huge plus. The music was great and the beers were a dollar more than some places but it felt great being inside the bar with the air conditioning. Watching the sea of green through the window opening where they served drinks to the outdoor patrons kept me non sweaty and comfortable as I had a beer waiting on friends.

My second time goin to OB’s last night after a movie and had a great time! 2 $ yings is hard to pass up! I thought it was 2 $ fireball but was wrong but I was ok with paying 6 $ a shot… cause they were huge! It reminds me of kens/​public house in tallahassee which brings me to my next winning point… FSU flags are there so I’ll for sure be back!

Great bar. Real friendly staff. Great girl to guy ratio! And we always have fun every time we come in. I recommend to go there and try it. We realy enjoy karaōke on Friday nights. And they do $ 7 liquor pitchers on Saturday nights. You can’t beat that.

Why did I bother on agreeing to walk from Mizner Park to this dud of a place? It was full of young people that looked like they entered with fake id’s! It is loaded with cigarette smoke… *gags* I didn’t want to stay any longer, but my friend wanted to meet up with a friend there for a moment. I was a bit hungry for a nibble, so I ordered some perogies. They were decent and creamy in the center. I was so happy to finally leave this bar cause the smoky interiors began to give me a headache. I hate inhaling second hand smoke. I had to wash my hair when I came home because it smelled like cigarettes!
Even though the bartenders and bouncers were really nice and quick with everything… still, I am definitely not coming back.

As promised, I came back!
St. Patrick’s day is a big celebration for them. Tents placed outside with beer trucks, or I should say full bar trucks. Liquor for $ 6, beer for $ 4. Some green items for sale, in case you forgot to «dress up» for the occasion. Live band, big crowd, good fun.
After an hour or so, we move inside. A bit of a wait in line but not bad. Got a spot at the bar, ordered our green beer pitcher (for only $ 10), and started making stories with their ‘Mad Libs’ type napkins. Not only fun but a great conversation starter. We had some help creating them, and even made some new friends.
All of the sudden we realized we had green teeth and lips, instead of hiding them, we just laugh more, meeting others with the same green beer effect. We all decided to take action and after finishing our beer we switched to Car Bombs, to wash the green out, and celebrate the ‘holiday’ a bit more.
O’Brian’s was definitely the perfect choice for us to celebrate in green.
