Only go to Patios on days the weather is cool because the air conditioning simply does not cool down the tiny restaurant primarily because the door is constantly being opened by waitstaff serving the outdoor patrons. Tasty food.
I enjoyed our dinner here, we had the small side board $ 26.00 it was excellent and I will return again. We also ordered 3 of the TAPAS, Lamb, Pork Belly, and Pork Loin. I especially enjoyed the Pork Belly and Lamb, we will be returing again.

Great lace for couples to come and try little sandwiches and other dishes. The montaditos are actually one piece of a baguette with various toppings. Loved the pork belly and the stuffed pepper with goat cheese. Liked the tapenade and the braised lamb. The anchovy was okay. The Fabada — bean stew with large pieces of sausage was very tasty! Can’t wait to come back…

Sangria is good. Not too sweet but refreshing and cold on warm evening. Not gross concentrate but clearly fresh juice. Had goat cheese stuffed chile, olive, tomato basil & potatoes with ailoli. The chile was the best tasting with goat cheese so light airy and fresh. The potatoes were most fun to eat and share. After first few dishes we realized we needed more bread. ORDERBREAD I don’t like a lot of carbs but 2 bucks literally buys u 4 slices of thinly sliced baugette. It came out to 30 bucks with one drink each, bread, &4 plates of tapas.

After my first review I’ve come to Patio Tapas several times, and for different occasions. Each time I am more and more impressed, and so are the people that come with me. 2 people, 3 or even a group of 12, their food and service is on point. Let’s start with their Homemade Sangria… this is the only thing I drink here. It’s refreshing, strong, and not too sweet. Filled with apples and an «drunken» orange on the rim to make it pretty. Served in wide mason jar like glasses, it is absolutely perfect. The other thing I always order is the Sweet Chips. Crispy sweet potato chips, with a cool yogurt sauce with passion fruit purée. You have one and before you know it, you will have finished the whole thing. No way you will be able to stop eating this — they are amazing! The montaditos(sold per piece) are a great way to start your way through the menu. My favorite was the Jamon Iberico until I tried the Pan con Tomato one. Now, It’s a tie. But, discovered they make a Bocadillo Iberico — which is kind of a mini sandwich so, more to share. : The chicken croquetas(which I highly recommend) are perfect for sharing since there’s 5pcs to an order. The Churrasco is juicy, flavorful, cooked exactly to order, and the little potatoes and arugula salad that comes with it, makes it a full meal(if you need one, or share, like we do, to be able to try more things). The Crispy Chicken, I don’t know what they do to it but it’s so juicy, the skin is perfectly crispy, and delicious. Patatas Bravas — you can smell the paprika as soon as the plate is put on the table. The aioli sauce with the brava sauce on top of the crispy potatoes is excellent. The Tortilla Española is another must. There are still things in the menu I haven’t tried but I’m sure they are equally delicious. The effort and love they put in their dishes is reflected not only on the taste but on the way they treat their customers. They always welcome you with a smile and are very attentive and always aware of the customers’ needs. They are genuinely happy to see you when you return and are open to customer’s comments/reviews. It’s been about a year since my first visit, and I am really happy to see them still around and successful. And totally deserving of 5 stars. You will definitely see me checking in here, again and again, in the future.

We’ve been here several times and it’s always great. Love the outdoor seating. We’ve tried most of the tapas and have no complaints at all. I love the churrasco and chicken croquetas. The sangria is really good: table wine and fruit that they marinate for a long time. It’s a fun, relaxing place to go with friends and family. Definitely will be back.

Delicious! Stopped in for lunch after reading the reviews on Unilocal and couldn’t be happier. The sangria is a delicious, perfect balance of fruit and wine. Super refreshing! The chicken croquetas were also super yummy! Fried to golden perfection on the outside and super creamy on the inside. The octopus and arugula salad was to die for. Literally the best octopus I have ever had! Overall I give the restaurant and the service an A+!!

Awesome ! Please do yourself a favor and go. Ordered every item on the happy hour menu and was not disappointed. Ok, this is a loose order, pork loin, lamb, pepper… no pork loin fingerling, hamon, no… Hey, just go! Delicious sangria, the service is awesome. Family owned and run. You will not be disappointed.

Food = 5 star. Each dish had amazing different flavored. The lamb tapas and skirt steak both great. Service quick. Cons — ambiance is a 2. Picnic like tables on a not cute street. Could use a facelift.

Sangria and Red Bull! Sounds suspect but it was just the pick-me-up that I needed. Also I was pleasantly surprised with the decent beer selection. I think that the size of the place made me assume that selection will be severely limited, but it was not. Give this place a chance!

Patio is pretty teeny on the inside, but they’ve got a very large outdoor eating area in the front and in the back. Hence the name! It was a bright and sunny day. A tad too cold for the beach, but perfect for enjoying a tasty lunch al fresco. We didn’t have a specific plan to come in, and instead came across Patio while walking around the area which is littered with other shops and restaurants. I whipped out Unilocal, saw the check-in for a free sangria and the deal was sealed. They’ve got signs everywhere that read ‘best sangria’ and dang were they right. Tons of fresh fruit and crushed ice really added a nice touch. The only let down was that the check-in offer was only valid for one sangria per table, but hey, I’m cool with a BOGO sangria. There were lots of yummy and cheap options advertised on a board as being on lunch special, but unfortunately none of this was available on the weekend. A bit misleading as that sign should probably be taken down from the front on a weekend, but what can ya do. I ordered the only sandwich on the weekend menu — which came with jamon and manchego cheese. It was the perfect size for lunch and I really enjoyed. They let my sis order one of the sandwiches on special, just not with any of the complimentary sides or for the discounted price. But, what it lacked in discount it made up for in taste. Although we both went with sammies, the menu had a ton of various tapas that made my mouth water. I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any — especially if you’ve got a cold sangria to wash everything down with.

I wanted to love this place as so many others have but my lunch experience wasn’t stellar. I ordered a latte to start, it arrived cold. We ordered the pork belly montadito, which was flavorful but really wasn’t the best pork belly I’ve ever eaten, it didn’t rival Dada’s in Delray candied pork belly at all. Although points are given for presentation, it looked fabulous. Next we ordered the Patatas Bravas(crispy potatoes with brava sauce and aioli) and the Churrasco skirt steak cooked medium. Again, they looked lovely, but everything just seemed so oily. The Patatas needed to be sat awhile so the oil could wick away, and the steak was sat in an oily dressing also… it was just too much for me. There was no beer on tap, and I feel like if it is going to be listed in the name, then there should be a priority set on draught beer, not $ 6 per bottle, they are surrounded by other establishments that all have draughts. Prices here in my opinion are steep, particularly considering they are tapas and you will need more than one. Overall it was a $ 50 lunch, even in Boca that is heavy. Lastly, I used my Unilocal check in for a free glass of Sangria… wow, highlight on my meal and it was the only part that didn’t cost me. The Sangria was legit, having had Sangria in Spain, I know that this is some good homemade stuff. So will I come back? Quite possibly, but only for happy hour drinks, the food I’ll skip on unfortunately.

Shout out to Greshka and Max as I read their reviews a while back and came here because of them. The space isn’t big. They have a nice outdoor area to sit and only 3 tables inside and a bar area. The kitchen is right behind the bar — it’s all open. I really liked seeing the staff back there cooking. Speaking of the staff — they were incredible. I read in the reviews that this was a husband and wife operation and that they did everything. I also read about how fantastic the service was — and I couldn’t agree more — this was some of the best service ever. They always approached the table with a smile… chimed in from time to time to ask how things were and were extremely nice. Really took the incredible meal to the next level… and speaking of the meal… here’s what we had(keep in mind this is tapas style, so you will order multiple things as they are small plates): Pan con tomate — Finely chopped tomato on really soft baguette. Simple, but really tasty! Chicken croquetas — Perfect! A little salty, but really really good! Delicious crispy breading on the outside and ooey goodness on the inside. Best chicken croquettas I have ever had — and right up there with best overall. Patatas brava — Potatoes with white and red sauces. Nice cuts of potatoes– perfectly tender and smothered in two sauces with some spices. The red sauce has a bit of a kick. Papas canarias — It’s very telling when my least favorite thing I ordered is still incredible! Small potatoes that have been roasted. You dip them in a delicious green sauce. A little salty — but really good none the less! This was my least favorite — but still something I’d order again(it’s just that everything else was so amazing!) Pork belly sandwiches — incredible pork belly, it was literally melt in my mouth! Served open face they come with three per order. Stacked with pickled onions and aioli — these were soooo good! Check in offer is a free glass of sangria! Deliciously refreshing! The boast the«best sangria» and I will agree that this was some of the best sangria I have had! Really great! I really want to wish them the best of luck — and success. You usually can’t go wrong when you have great service with great food(in a really nice spot!!!) so I’m sure they are going to have continued success! I’ll be back again soon… writing this review made my mouth water when I mentioned the chicken croquetas.

This husband/wife owned and operated Spanish Tapas restaurant is a welcome addition to the«Off Royal Palm Place» group of restaurants. It is situated on SE1 Avenue, which is one block east of Federal Highway, and can be difficult to find if you do not know the area. [Note, parking can be a challenge. SECRET: There is a public garage in the apartment building directly across the street] I discovered PATIOTAPAS before they had even opened, when I noticed that the front door to the out-of-business French Pizza restaurant was open. I walked in, and introduced myself to the man setting up the kitchen, to discover BRYANT, who I learned was the proud owner and chef. He enthusiastically explained the Spanish tapas concept, coupled with a limited number of craft beers and wines, and shared his prior chef experiences with me. I encouraged him to keep his menu focused on the foods he loved to prepare, which would also be unique to our restaurant community, and to make certain he had outstanding service, for East Boca is known for its hyper-critical and unforgiving patrons. He assured me he had the service component covered, explaining that his wife would be his sole server. So far, so good. I have been there 3x since they opened about a month ago, and with each visit, I have been pleased and impressed(Proud to say that I introduced them to Unilocal, and entered the new listing!]. And indeed, Chef Bryant’s wife, NATHALIA, has been there each time, and is incredibly warm and attentive. And each time, Chef has offered an item for us to taste, which is smart marketing on his behalf. And of course, they each ask for feedback on the food, ambiance, and have shared ideas with us on how they see the restaurant evolving. We have had the TORTOLAESPANOLA($ 6), which contains chunks of potato and chirizo, and so far, is our favorite. The SHRIMPWITHGARLIC($ 14, a bit pricey for the size) was tasty, with enough sauce(which includes a touch of brandy) to warrant being served with some warm bread(my recommendation). The CHICKENCROQUETTES($ 9) are creamy and stuffed with chicken pieces, and the 5 croquettes are filling. The PORKBELLYSANDWICH(3 for $ 10 had a sauce of pickled shallots and lemon aioli which gave it a distinctive taste. The CRISPYCHICKEN($ 10) were a smaller portion size than I would have liked, but they were delightfully crispy on the exterior, and juicy on the inside. There are numerous items I have yet to try, including their desserts and cappuccino and espresso. The wine offering is limited, but we had no problem enjoying a nice Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. Wine is also available by the bottle, under $ 30. They are still feeling their way on operating hours, but have told me that they will be open late, perhaps until 1AM, on the weekends. Seating is limited inside, and there is enough seating for about 20 people on their outdoor umbrella covered patio. Oh, it’s immaculate inside, including the gender neutral bathroom. Reservations can be made through the Unilocal app. I’m happy to see this young couple so engaged in their business, and so receptive to understanding the unique dining environment of our area. They are not like many other restaurant operators, who invest their [or more likely, someone else’s money] in the business, and then hire a chef and servers. This couple are putting their souls, hearts, savings, and energy into this boutique tapas restaurant, and I hope that they will succeed. I plan to be a regular. It is worthy of discovery by my fellow Unilocal friends.
