Favorite for tacos, margaritas etc. great atmosphere & great service. Must get the table side guacamole and the fresh salsa. I never ate something a regretted because of all the fresh and delicious food.

So unfortunate, service was really bad. Had dinner with 3 girlfriends. Hostess was unfriendly. Server took forever to come by, and disappeared leaving us without drinks. We waited a while to order. Every time our server walked away he wouldn’t come back for a while. The guacamole we ordered was not prepared table-side, which I always expected as a Roccos signature. I guess they have enough business than to need to impress guests

Went here for an after-work team event last week. The guacamole and chips were great! I had a chicken dish that was also great, Chicken al Carbon and it was super tasty and healthy. Also, it had a great, vibrant crowd and pleasant and accommodating servers.

Great Guacamole. Tasty drinks. Always crowded. Have yet to meet a friendly hostess. Waiters do a good job keeping up.

This place has a great atmosphere and the margaritas are good. I’ve been here a few times and tried a lot of different things. I was not very impressed with the food but the guacamole was amazing.

Guacamole was perfect. The seafood Fajitas were delicious too. I wish they had some signature hot sauces though. There was no hot sauce on the table or offered. Hubby had the steak quesadilla with mushrooms and loved it and he is hard to please!

Place is very nice and fun to just look around, cool decorations to say the least. Food was awesome, table side guac was excellent but even better was the Brooklyn tacos. Pork belly, bacon and some other stuff. Only complaint was speed of service maybe(girl had a lot going on with not a lot of help so not her fault) and lack of salsa options. Not a fan of thick chinky Salsa. I like really hot restaurant style salsa. They did however have a habanero«hot sauce» that was really good and hot enough for me. I would definitely try this again for sure. Maybe more fun on a weekend. Wish I had this in Dallas

Let me get to this asap I like Rocco’s. Been to this location multiple times and once to the one in Delray. Service has been awesome. Food has been on point. But today was well, today was not good. Weather was amazing. Perfect afternoon to have lunch at Rocco’s. We get to the restaurant. It is busy as always. We get sat immediately. Server comes over. Gets the order. Food comes out 10 minutes later. Everything looks business as usual. No worries. Wrong, completely wrong. Now let me be clear. I have ordered either the fish tacos and shrimp tacos multiple times here and every time it is the same. The tacos rice and black beans. Today, tacos rice and salad and I am what, if I wanted a salad I would go to salad creations. Call the server over. He is like no black beans ever. Me: what??? Server: never Me: impossible Server goes in the back. Comes out 2 minutes later and says the corporate chef of Rocco’s told Him they never serve black beans in the platter. Me: do you think I am crazy? Server: has a quick look at me and says he doesn’t know. My answer is ridiculous. Great place. Known for their platters of tacos with rice and black beans. Me: Annoyed very annoyed!!!

This place is sooooo overrated its RIDICULOUS! The only thing that was superb is the GUACAMOLE which is made fresh and to your liking. Always too crowded, seems to be a trending spot and an after work fave.

We feel like we can never go wrong when dining at Rocco’s Tacos. When we arrived on a busy Saturday evening, we waited only about 20 minutes for an indoor table. Within 2 minutes of being seated, our extremely friendly waiter greeted us and took our drink order. The red sangria was excellent. It had the perfect blend of fruit, sweetness and alcohol. Although I almost ordered the house margarita, I was delighted with our purchase. We placed our food order for a taco salad and house made quac. The guacamole was prepared table side and was excellent. The medium spicy blend tasted excellent with the house chips. We couldn’t have ordered a better appetizer. The Taco salad arrvied shortly after and was amazing. The exterior taco shell was crispy and large. The salad ingredients inside the shell included guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, ground beef tomatoes and onions. All of the items tasted fresh and the size of the order was very large. The ground beef integrated well with the guacamole and the sour cream. Overall, the taco salad is highly recommended. Based upon the speedy and friendly service as well as the fresh delicious food, I would recommend Roccos Tacos to anybody in the Boca area interested in Mexican food.

Was really nice. A few things, it’s so dark, I couldn’t see the menu or the food was served. Also everything fried tasted like fish. I don’t eat fish :(

Can’t go wrong with taco Tuesday here. Always here and never can go wrong. They just get supper packed on Tuesdays but great scene and atmosphere. $ 15 margarita pitcher ! Not bad to split a few with a group of friends. Foods really good here as well.

Every time we’re down in Boca to visit my mother-in-law, she takes us here b/c she knows that my husband and I love spicy food. The best thing about the place is the eating outside(especially given that we live in Chicago where it’s cold in November). The outside is very nice and to me much better than the loud inside seating. Their chips are delicious and have a spice on them. The homemade guacamole is also very good and I would recommend it. The salsa is more like a pico de gallo and not spicy. But you must ask for their hot sauce. They have two special ones. One is more of a thicker sort of chipolte, and the other new one(at least this last visit) is a citrus based habanero — that was very hot and very good. You should definitely ask for these«off the menu» items if you like a good kick. We’ve had the tacos and burritos here before, as well as some of their combination platters. I think their tacos are the best. We will continue going to Rocco’s each time we’re in Boca b/c we love the atmosphere and the chips.

Well, originally planned to go to Tap 42 across the way from this place but was steered in the direction of Rocco’s because of the vibe and we both crave margaritas as a general rule of thumb, and let me tell you what, that was a giant mistake. Rocco’s has a VERY impressive ambiance. My girlfriend does commercial interiors and she was really wow’d by the place. It’s very nice. This is where the compliments end though and the reason for the extra star over a single star. The food here is bad. The service is bad as well. We ended up sitting at the bar and having queso dip because waiting on a seat outside. The queso was so bland I wouldn’t have eaten it if I weren’t so hungry. We had a pitcher of margaritas with the queso. Again, I tasted water and sweet and sour mix. No taste of tequila whatsoever. I wish we hadn’t gotten a pitcher or we could have escaped after one drink. Since we had to finish the pitcher we just decided to eat tacos at the bar(it was a Friday night and all of the outdoor tables were being used by people drinking and enjoying the nice weather). Jeez… I feel like it’s hard to mess up tacos… especially when that’s part of the restaurant name. Well, Rocco should go back to taco school, because the only taco he knows how to make is a bland taco that tastes like meat has been cooked and has some tortilla chips to be eaten with it. Anyways, this displaced Texan did not enjoy Rocco’s at all and if I had to do all over again, we would definitely have eaten at Tap 42.

Rocco’s Tacos proves the old joke: You can’t complain about the service because there is none. Went there with a large group and left saying I will never go back there ever. The food was less than mediocre. The manager was rude and a real ass. The service was nonexistent. I will never go back and the same feeling was expressed by most of our group. What a waste of money!!!

Pretty disappointed :( We came here to celebrate our anniversary as we had our 2nd date here and in the past year things are very different. The hostesses were very nice and pleasant. When we got sat and our waitress finally came to our table things went down hill. I understand it’s busy but it took way to long to get water or drinks. Even asking for refills of water took way to long. We just felt neglected. When I checked in on Unilocal it popped up that you get a free shot. When I showed the waitress she took it to someone and came back it’s not free it’s $ 5. When our food came it was good but the dish was broken and they used a silver cup as a leg. For a $ 40 entrée that seems pretty low class. See the attached picture. Lastly we took our leftovers to go and before we could get to the car the bag broke. Overall it was a disappointing night out that should have been the best time.

I came here last night for dinner with a group from my boxing class to say farewell to one of the girl’s that is moving. I’ve been to Rocco’s in Fort Lauderdale, but never to the Boca location. The Boca Raton décor is a little more upscale than the DT location-that was the first thing I noticed. The wait was about 45 mins, so I decided to order a Caipirinha. It was made perfectly. Wish I could go on and describe what’s in it but I have no clue! The only thing I know it went down smooth and tasted really good. When we got to our table we ordered the Guac and Chips. The guac is always good there. For my dinner I decided on the Wet Burrito bowl; it is not actually on the menu, but the waiter said he could make it happen for me. I was glad everyone knows the struggle of eating out and trying to stay healthy. The burrito bowl was excellent! I ate everything inside and left the shell alone, even though I was really tempted to eat the whole thing. I give Rocco’s 4 stars. It was a great atmosphere and pretty good food with great service!

I try to come to Rocco’s Tacos every time I am in Florida. Luckily, I can come visit my parents when they are here in the winter and I can satisfy my Rocco’s Tacos craving! I also always bring friends here when we do weekend trips to Boca. Rocco’s Taco’s has great drinks, I am a sucker for their Margaritas! My favorites are the Jalapeño, prickly pear, blood orange or the Rocco Rita. I am always willing to try a new flavor too! I love their Guacamole, made tableside, and Jalapeño Rellenos as appetizers. Their chips and salsa are a must as well. Simple yet so fill of flavor! I like to come here and share with friends or family. We always try to choose something new to try, but we also have our staples! Their Tacos in general are just fantastic. So you should always get some when you come here. The chicken and the Hongos are my favorites. My absolute favorite dish is the Molcajetes. We usually end up getting the surf and turf, but if you get the seafood and the carne are both just as good. The surf and turf has skirt steak, chorizo, chicken and shrimp in a delicious roasted garlic verde sauce. If I don’t get the surf and turf, I lean towards the seafood option, but I do love seafood, so that is the reason I go towards that rather than the carne. I have tried all three types of Molcajetes and I like them all, so you certainly cannot go wrong. The Chile Rellenos are also awesome! I love that there is some goat cheese in this dish(one of my favorite cheeses) and the lime crema is a nice touch. I also always have to get a side of their sweet plantains, if you come here, make sure you order them… so good! This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. It is a fun place to go in a area and has great ambience. Great for groups and a place that you can come and eat for dinner or just have drinks. The staff is also always friendly and polite no matter how busy they are, I always have a great experience! They are often very busy here, so make sure to make a reservation!

I could go back here any day of my life. I’ve only personally experienced their carne asada taco and pollo taco, with a side of white rice and black beans. I’m very happy with my entire experience here. It’s such a hip place with amazing décor! Friendly atmosphere with great Mexican infused today’s hits music! Although I was crazyyyyyy about their rice and beans. The yellow rice might as well be white too… Their table side guacamole is off the chain and makes up for any mistakes they make in my book! How could you go wrong with fresh guacamole!!! Their pollo taco — I was very happy they put the strange bbq sauce on the side rather then on my taco, and their carne asada taco the steak was cooked to perfection! Melted into my mouth. Very happy with my experience. I found my forever taco home :)

**BRUNCHREVIEW We arrived on a Saturday morning for their brunch right at 11 which is when they open. We were seated right away in their large outdoor covered patio area! This was really nice since it was raining all morning but we did not have to be stuck inside with the AC. $ 12 for unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Mary’s are a great deal but this applies to when you can actually get service. Our server didn’t seem to understand that I wanted my mimosas filled at all times. What is the point of having unlimited drinks if I have to sit there for 5+ mins and wait for a refill?!? After several times of asking if I could just order two at once he decided to make my glass a little larger. This did help a bit. As for the service it was not very good with the restaurant being on the emptier side. Our server seemed to keep getting distracted or maybe just didn’t care as I would see him messing around in the back after we just ordered a drink. I decided on the Wet Burrito Con Huevos and was a bit disappointed with the outcome. Everything inside the burrito was pretty good but the tortilla was tough and chewy. This in turn made my brunch not as desirable as I thought it would have been. My husband ordered the Huevos Ahoghada Con Short Rib and it was excellent! Very light and flavorful although we both agreed we though the portion would be a little bigger. Overall, this location just doesn’t seem to deliver as the FTL location does. We have been to both locations several times and as I do like the actually Boca restaurant more, we receive better service and quality of food is better at the FTL location. I would venture to say if you are in Boca there is a large selection of brunch spots that could possibly give you a more satisfied outcome.
