This place is honestly always super amazing. I come here often but noticed there is a new a worker. This bald guy seems like he’s dreading the job and bad mood and attitude towards the customers. He messed up my order 2 times and didn’t even apologize and seemed like I’m such a hassle but just in general the place is amazing but this guys sucks.

Third location I’ve tried in Boca, all three have the same set-​up, menu, service and awesome hot sauce bar… some line-​cooks pay a bit more attention than others, and such changes by shift, but this guy made a mean fat burrito and the service was prompt as always. I am not a giant fan of pre-​tipping, and did not get offered a re-​fill here, so that money was somewhat wasted… I think I will start reserving the tip for after at all places that employ this method… otherwise, predictably tasty with the best hot sauce selection this side of Dr. Bones.

Good standard food. Portion size large and food was fresh. Would recommend this place as quick lunch spot.

What can i say !! Went on Wednesday with my gf to have lunch, she order tacos which were vegetarian and i had a stake norito bowl.
The first piece of taco she picked up had a long piece of black hair wrapped around it.
She told the waitress and she took it back to get replaced, i said to her are you kidding me? The manager should have been to the table to apologize which he never did.
I told them we no longer wanted to eat there so they gave us a refund.
Never will i ever go back to this place

It must be Taco Tuesday and I’m ready for my tacos
This Tijuana Flats is a great, casual fast food restaurant for tacos, burritos and nachos and
every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday where they offer this really great deal where you get two tacos with nachos and a medium sized soda for just $ 5.99. The tacos are pretty big too and the soda includes free refills.
I usually get one soft shell taco with beef and one hard shell taco with steak and both have lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream and jalapeños on them but you can customize them to get more or less stuff on them but I get them the way they come.
SAUCE BAR… let’s just say they have a lot of sauces like mild medium hot… and super hot, if you’re brave enough. And some sauces are sweet and i even found one that was like jerk sauce. Best part of all you can go up to the sauce bar and sample as much as you want since it’s help yourself.
The place is really colorful and have walls with graffiti that’s really cool and the lights seem to be colored too. All the employees are all super friendly and they even cleanup after you so you don’t have to worry about throwing away your trash. This location is always very clean and they do have other special nights too but I’ve only tried Taco Tuesdays special.
Even though I always tell every to try the tacos, I saw the burritos and they look great too so next time I wanna try one.

I got a steak salad and upgraded to include beans and rice! $ 11.50!!! Are you kidding me? To make matters worse salad was so basic. Barely any steak with just lettuce, tomato, guac and jalapeño. Um for that price how about fajita veggies, olives, cuc or more than 2oz of protein? Place is a rip off and not even that good. I could get Chipolte or Moe’s salad for $ 6 – 7 with beans and whatever toppings I want included. No thanks Tijuana. Last time customer.

This is my first time at this location. Seems a bit larger than my normal location on Commercial in Lauderhill. The chain itself is pretty consistent and I love the variety of hot sauces they have.
The food is pretty decent for the price. I like their tacos, but this time I tried a burrito. No pic, it just looks like a burrito and chips, lol. I got the smaller size burrito and it was still huge, just like their over-​sized tacos. Every time I have a taco here, I laugh, because the taco is at least 2 times the size of the tacos at Rocco’s Tacos for ½ the price. (and taste better too).
Really wished I could just refill my own soda. But that said, they are pretty good at coming around to get refills.

Friendly staff, best food for the money. Love this place! I never miss Taco Tuesday.

Food is good, service is ok, very busy location! We love Tijuana flats but have never gone on a Tuesday. They have 2 tacos, chips and a drink for $ 5.99 (or something around there) so it was very busy but the food is always great!

No request is ever a problem. There is never any attitude. After you place your order and are ready to pay, they read it back to you.
Want lemon for your drink? Sure thang!

My 10 year old LOVES it here so we got take out burritos for her one night (and the hubs 7 I got Italian next door.)
Inexpensive and oodles of hot sauces to choose from.
Good for a Mex-​loving kid.

The price was decent, but the food was not anything to brag about. The place seemed to me like a step above Taco Bell, only because they have a wider variety of food. The best thing about this place were the designs on the walls.

Solid place! Went in for a late lunch (1:30pm) on a Tuesday and got the Dos Tacos (2 tacos, a drink, and chips) for $ 5.99.
I ordered two blackened chicken tacos on whole wheat tortillas. Chicken was well seasoned and had a nice kick. Added the Sweet Chili sauce which was BANGIN. The chips had a nice taste, also. The raspberry iced tea was forgettable. I tried the queso that my friend got and it was also forgettable.
Service was fast and friendly. Overall, the food was tasty and the sauces were plenty. We were waited on quickly and the staff kept coming to check on us. 4 stars from me!

I was one of the first customers at this location when it first opened. I have been back two more times. Every time the young people working there seem to hate their jobs and as a result the quality of the food they serve suffers.
I spoke to the regional manager about my issue and he sent me gift certificates and a written apology explaining that this location was not following corporate policies correctly. Now if I want Tijuana flats I go to the newer one out west. It is run much better and the employees are friendlier.

Good deal and great service. Love the salsa bar and refills. Menu is pretty standard and seems to be a variation of certain combinations of the same food… just different names. Essentially, each dish pretty much all tastes the exactly same. Maybe this is the reason for the hot salsa bar? Between my daughter and I, we’ve explored most of the menu. Fresher than fast food. Low key, neighborhood vibe. Quick, easy and family friendly.

At first I loved this place, but the more I go back, the less I like it. The portions are tiny, barely and proteins or ingredients in your tacos or salads for the price they charge you should get more than 2 ounces of protein per taco, and why not include salsa? Moe’s and Chipotle do! Hit up chipotle on the other side of the place! Much better

I will say that the food is priced nicely, however it doesn’t taste all that good.
A big pet peeve that I had, is that I went to wash my hands, and the floor in the mens room was greasy which made it extremely difficult to use.
I also left my diabetic bag at my table, and when I came back it was gone along with what was left of my food. I inquired why that occurred and they said «oh we thought you left». The Manager did not give a shit when I told him what happened. I did get my diabetic supplies back, and glad that no one opened it as they could have incurred a needle stick injury.

Love it! Went tonight and it was incredible! As soon as I walked in the door, someone was waiting to help me and was so nice! All of the employees were so kind and the customer service was impeccable! I love Tijuana Flats and hadn’t been to this one before, but would definitely go back! The food was amazing! I got the taco Tuesday deal and it was 2 tacos, chips, and a drink for $ 5.50. Their hot sauce bar is awesome! If you’re looking for a good Mexican place, this is it!

Grand opening was December 3, 2012 and I just happened top be there.
This Tex-​Mex restaurant is a fun place to grab lunch or casual dinner. I love the colorful grafitti art designed walls and the Hot Bar where you can sample the sauces.
Appetizers include choices of salsa, queso, guacamole & chips.
Entries include burrito, chimichanga, quesadillas, enchiladas, tacos, etc.
I had the fish tacos and they were excellent.
The desert items are awesome — Churros or Cookie Dough Flautas that are really good.
