Best Mexican joint in Boca… salsa is awesome and has a little kick, combo plates are what you should expect, and the sopapillas are great. Felt bad paying so little…

What a bad Mexican restaurant. Service was incredibly slow. They didn’t offer the option to order tacos individually. The food is bland, mainly bc the tortilla are horrible. I ordered chicken fajitas & there wasn’t that much chicken. My husband ordered the tacos al carbon steak & returned them. The only positive, the skinny margarita was good. We will definitely not be back.

Service was good and the food was ok. It wasn’t bad food but it was nothing memorable. Bonus for not being bad and for being a family friendly place. But we’re used to really good Mexican food coming from the Southwest.

This place is great!!! I am from California and I was in need of good Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The server was super friendly and the food was delicious and there was a ton of it. The sampler was filling enough but we got the fajita trio and it was terrific. These guys do everything right.

I really love the veggie burrito here, they have the perfect amounts of rice, beans, and fajita veggies mixed in, and it comes with shredded lettuce and tomato, and salsa. It is a huge portion and super yummy. I don’t like mushrooms so I ask for it without and they always get the order correct. Also, just the chips ‘n’ salsa are good here. The organic margarita is nice too, and I’m not even a huge margarita fan. Friendly staff and a nice chill dining area. Will definitely continue to come here. Oh and the take-out is ready super fast too!

The setup of this restaurant is very odd. When you walk in the front door there is a very very narrow entrance. You are basically looking at a wall when you walk in. To the right appears to be a bar and some casual seating. To the left is what I believe to be the main dining area. I wasn’t really sure if it was a seat yourself place, or wait to be seated, since nobody was at the front when I got there. In a few minutes someone arrived and seated me to the left in main dining area. The décor in the main dining area borders on super fancy. I was thinking I was underdressed and that the meal was going to cost me. Turns out the prices are very reasonable. I was there for lunch and was handed a lunch menu. The menu is fairly limited to my surprise. I almost felt like it was missing a page or two. A waitstaff member quickly dropped off some chips and salsa. Both tasted very fresh, and wouldn’t be surprised if they made their own chips(although I don’t know if they do). The Burrito Cancun looked to be a good choice, and it was. What a very flavorful burrito and the homemade cheese sauce was nice and rich. The shrimp inside were cooked perfectly(which is hard to not overcook shrimp inside something like a burrito). The waiter I had repeated everything he said in both Spanish and English. Which is kind of a nice touch being in a Mexican restaurant. Made it feel more authentic to me. They seem to have quite a number of people on the staff, which makes things move quickly and smoothly there. When I looked around the room, I realized I was the only non-Latino there. So that says something about the food too. I would like to get back here for dinner sometime to see what they have in store for that menu. This is definitely one of the better Mexican places I have been to.

They don’t play when it comes to there drinks. It was the best margarita ive had in a while. Nice and strong! They give you there tasty homemade salsa and chips when you sit down. I had a combo of chili relleno and chicken enchilada with rice and beans. Ive had better chili relleno, but it wasn’t bad. The chicken enchilada was very good. They give you lots of meat inside, so you get meat with every bite. My husband had the burrito. It was huge and delicious!!! The fried ice cream was a great dessert to end the night. We will definitely be back to eat here.

Food was good. The service was really bad. Borderline rude. After we were seated, it took several minutes to be acknowledged or waited on. As we were about to leave we were asked what we wanted to drink so we stayed. Unfortunately. The place was not busy. We felt ignored. We will not be returning. Typical fajitas, nothing special. Good service could have made this a much better experience and review.

I am happy to say I was told they are opening a restaurant in west Broward! I’m ecstatic! The food was just as good this last time as the first. I’m all for good prices and food closer. And I said Not on the beach! West for sure! He chuckled, said correct! Upgraded to 5 Stars do to the consistency of everything! Especially the food tastes so good!

If you been to Rocco Taco which is more upscale, more high energy, seen to be seen, this is not the place for you. I enjoy Rocco Taco but sometimes you want more low key, less expensive but the same great service with good food and drinks. My lady and I were there with another couple this past Saturday for an early meal and all the dinners were righteous! The guac was made right in front of you and it was«oh» so fresh. We all came away full and happy. ENJOY!

This is THEBESTMEXICAN Restaurant I have been to in the area. Clean spacious with excellent service… Martha our server was very efficient and took real good care of us with a good sense of humor to boot! The complimentary chips and dip are a dish on their own and all our meals were very tasty and we were all big eaters and we left there stuffed(I felt like an overstuffed Piñata) We will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine!

Tonight was the first time I ate at Casa Tequila. I ordered the Carne Asada and my daughter had the Pork Carnitas, both dishes were delicious! The best I’ve had and definitely the best in Boca. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mexican food.

The service was great and the food was delicious It was beyond cozy inside everyone was so kind My waiter louis was wonderful. It didn’t even take long to get seated or get our food. The shrimp fajitas was to die for, Including the fajita con Ticino. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff where all so polite and prompts(before I could complete my drink someone was there to refill). I loved seeing there team work.

It was our first time here. We ate at the bar. The service was friendly and fairly attentive. I liked that they give complimentary chips and salsa when you sit down. I’m not a salsa lover, but it was quite good. We shared the freshly made guacamole and chips and the fajita steak burrito. All were very good. The house margarita was ok, not great, but adequate. The place was pretty busy on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, which is a good sign. All in all, if you want casual Mexican in west boca, I would recommend this place. We would return.

Great Mexican food is almost impossible to find around here but I’ve found it. This place is wonderful. From the carne asada to the morsels of pork, everything I’ve tried is really good. They really make a concerted effort to give attention to all the little details of their meals(beans, rice, salsa, salad stuff). Also, the quantities are huge, just the way I like it. They have great deals on delicious Margaritas(also huge). I’m ready to go!

There’s a new Mexican restaurant in Boca Raton. The food’s good, the Margaritas are large, and they don’t charge extra for chips and salsa. Clyde and I have eaten at Casa Tequila several time. We’re always greeted with a smile. Our servers have been friendly and helpful. I’ve been super impressed with the food. It’s delicious. There’s a separate menu for drinks including a long list of different Margaritas. The house Margarita comes in an 18 ounce glass either on the rocks for $ 7.00 or frozen for $ 7.50. I’ve tried both and they’re great, but my favorite is the frozen. You start off with a basket of chips and salsa. The chips tastes fresh and the salsa tastes home made. For an appetizer we had guacamole which is made fresh at the table. I ordered over several visits: Fish tacos– three flour tacos with grilled white fish. Seafood enchiladas– two corn tacos filled with shrimp or crab, covered with cream sauce and cheese. Burrito Cancun– large flour tortilla filled with shrimp, beans, rice, and veggies, covered with cheese sauce. Beef enchilada with beans and rice. Clyde ordered: Pork Carnitas– roasted pork with rice and beans. Arroz con pollo– chicken and rice Carne Asada– thin skirt steak. So far we’ve enjoyed everything we ordered. The servings are large. The food is tasty. Almost everything on the menu is under $ 15.00
