For Eyes Optical

I have been a loyal Target Optical customer for years, but my employer switched insurance plans this year. That’s how I ended up here. I chose new glasses at my appointment on a Tuesday and asked for them to be rushed, because I was going to be on a business trip the following Wednesday. I was told they’d be ready that Saturday. Unfortunately, they were not ready in time for my trip (my old glasses were falling apart, so I didn’t want to travel with them). If I had been told there was no way to get them in time for my trip, I would have accepted that. I was very upset and voiced my displeasure, because my expectations were not managed. However, once I was already in New York, I was contacted by the Customer Service Manager, who had the glasses shipped to my office overnight. That service far exceeded my expectations and showed me just how dedicated For Eyes is to ensuring customer satisfaction. It definitely changed my opinion of this business and I will definitely be back.

My husband went here for an eye exam because they are on my insurance plan. The Doctor that examined him made wrong notes from the machine and my husbands glasses were an incorrect prescription when he picked them up and could not see out of them. We called the insurance company to complain and also For Eyes — who issued a refund. We thought we were finished with them until I tried to get an exam at a Vision Works and when they checked with my insurance, was told that I was not eligible… why??? Because For Eyes said I had and exam with them (I have never stepped foot in their door!) and am «not eligible» for another exam!!! I called the insurance company (very upset), and was told they were sorry, but that For Eyes said I DID and they were reimbursed for my exam that I never had!!! They ALSO showed my husband had been there as well so that means that they showed BOTH of us were there — the only connection I have is that the insurance is in my name!!! I do not know how they can be in business if they can’t get anything right!!! Pathetic really!!! …and now I’m «hostage» to them until they «release» me so that I can get my own eyes examined. Do NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! It says «family owned and operated since 1972»??? … wow… Dad needs to come back!!!

The doctor is nasty and mean ! I would not go here find another doctor ! He has no bed side manners ! I don’t know how a wild nasty man can help older ppl or children out. I walked out very upset from his actions I do not suggested going to this doctor he should be fired !
