Looking Sharp Eyewear & Care

This is my first review on Unilocal but I felt strongly that others needing eyeglasses learn that they definitely should go to Looking Sharp. I needed replacement lenses for my glasses. Looking Sharp was half the price of the national brand stores and proprietor/​optician David Camporeale and his co-​worker/​wife provided the friendly, knowledgeable customer service that you hardly find any more.

What a great find! David, the owner, is terrific. He is so knowledgeable about glasses and has great recommendations. He is patient and spends as much time as you need. He tightened up our glasses at no charge and then we wound up buying 4 more pairs from him. He is definitely worth a visit. Very nice shop with lots of options. Will get all future glasses from him. And he stands by his work.

My glasses broke on a Saturday night and my old pair just not in good shape, googled glasses reaper and saw the Looking Sharp was opened Sunday’s. So I went down as soon as they opened and what a wonderful experience, not only did they repair my glasses but charged my nothing. Super customer service and will be going back for a new pair of glasses to keep on hand. Highly recommend!

Although unassuming, Looking Sharp packs a much more powerful punch than any other eye wear store we’ve ever visited. The store’s authentic, vast inventory of high-​end American, Asian and European designer brands, honest prices, 24-​hour turnaround, and one-​on-​one, knowledgeable service are extremely impressive. The store’s owner, Dave, stayed helpful and patient during our three consecutive hours trying on so many of his awesome brands. He’s also an optician, and although received our prescriptions to fill, was extremely knowledgeable about them. We received our glasses in 24 hours, me, Roberto Cavalli, and my husband, Gucci. We looked up the model numbers on line, and besides his store, they’re only also available in Europe. When we asked him how he has such an amazing designer selection nobody else has, he said he’s constantly ordering from the latest collections. Judging from his longtime clients coming in and out of the store buying left and right while we were there (a woman came in and ordered the same new Fendi model in every color), I’m not surprised the man has to. We got comments like, «Dave’s got the best designer selection in South Florida», «Dave’s prices are the best», «Dave’s the most honest, nicest guy around». Well, we’re now disciples of Dave too.

Been using Looking Sharp since they opened. Dave the owner is knowledgeable and a real nice guy. Both my wife and son needed glasses but already had prescriptions, so Dave let me pick a few to take home and let them pick their favorite. I don’t know if it’s because I work in the same shopping center or if it’s a normal policy, but it made my life so much easier.
I scheduled an eye exam for myself and had my glasses the next day because the frame I picked was a special order. His selection is huge, and can get it in if he doesn’t have it. I have used him for eyeglasses and sunglasses. He’s our go to guy for our eyes. I have sent many of my own customers to him with great responses from them.
