Perfect for even non salad lovers! I left with chicken Apple sausage, chicken teriyaki, turkey chili, hard boiled egg, fruit, Asian noodles, and coleslaw. A little bit of everything for a low price. Not to mention all of it was delicious! Also the aunt of the store owner that rang me up is such a sweetheart

5 days in a row since I discovered Salad Spot! Fresh, tasty, great variety, clean, loads of soup options, amazing and happy staff: you get to spend time with the fun and«the host of the most» Ed from upstate NY. Owner Krysztina is a blast. Told her I could not believe that they were literally 75 yards from LA Fitness and right next to Starbucks and I did not stop by in almost 19 months. She said that I should be punished for that. Love it! Actually been rewarded with amazing, healthy options that are delicious and addicting. Great price at 8 bucks and change per pound. Very easy to maneuver and self serve. Love the Crab salad, Tuna salad, Lentil soup and marinated tofu. Black bean salad was awesome. Nice choice of dressings. Love that Krysztina’s husband Alejandro is from South America; she is European, and the lucky customers like myself get a twist of both flavors and spins in the tremendous variety. Sad that they are closed on weekends but definitely excited that tomorrow is Monday. Salad Spot Baby! Easy on off from the I 95 Yamato West exit. 10 to 5 Monday to Thursday and 10 to 330 Friday. Love that they will be opening a third location on Commercial Blvd in Ft Lauderdale(Flagler WPB Is the second) again with easy access off the I 95 on that drive to Miami. Love it!

My favorite healthy destination in the area. I love defining a salad for myself instead of being forced to eat the same 5 ingredients in different quantities depending on how explorative the kitchen staff was feeling. The quality of the food would be enough for a 5 star review but the friendly staff make me wish there was another category to truly distinguish this awesome establishment. I recommend cranberries on salad for flavor and meatballs when trying to add flavor, protein and substance to the meal. They’re more delicious than one would expect for such a healthy environment.

Quick with great value; You can build your salad with lots of options and most of their veggies are organic. There are various protein options and special salads/items. Also, they make their soups from scratch. The mozzarella in the caprese salad was so soft and fresh. My salad ended up costing less than $ 9, whereas at Salad Creations, it would have costed me almost $ 15. Price is based on weight. Brief review for a fast and easy lunch at Salad Spot.

I was working near by so I decided to check this spot out for lunch. There were so many options I was surprised! All and all I will be returning for lunch when I’m in the area. Very good salad options.

Mom and Pop salad spot that is out of this world. Salad is salad but what goes with that is where this place stands out. They have all types of chicken salads, tuna salads, chili, soups. Everything is as fresh as it comes. Only one complaint and that is that it is very cramped. Prices are reasonable. I was expecting my cost to be 16 – 20 bucks because it was by the pound plus I got a soup but it was about 11 or 12. I love this place.

Was in town from Miami for a meeting and came across this gem. Such fresh and yummy ingredients… making it a perfect lunch. Way better than Whole Foods for a much more reasonable price. Most dressings and ingredients made in house. Wish they were open in Miami!

Customer service is key! & the employees of Salad Spot are very much aware of this. It must have been the owner who greeted me when I walked in for lunch today because his passion was oozing out of him. He told me I looked like a first timer and proceeded to give me a tour«free of charge». The truly have a variety of healthy options to choose from: a full salad bar, several soups, as well as «Bocas best meatballs». Everything looked and tasted fresh and delicious. Salads are priced by the pound… I was able to get a medium sized serving for $ 6 that filled me up. Extra brownie points: salad dressings are homemade! I will definitely be returning.

I’ve been so busy coming here for lunch at least twice a week, that I keep putting off writing the review for this incredible healthy organic based«Salad Spot». Every time I go for lunch, I know I should be eating what consists of two things: Vegetables and Salads, and Protein. I am not that excited about salads and if I wanted protein, it usually would be something on the«unhealthy» side, like red meat, burgers, steaks and BBQ Ribs, not to mention chicken wings. I found my perfect lunch place here finally, that gives me dozens of healthy options and I know what I am eating is Organic, home made, and fresh, with so many protein options and the vegetables I love to jazz up my salad with. The Salad Spot is owned by a husband and wife who really work hard to ensure the best quality of fresh greens, vegetables, cheeses, fruits, nuts, pastas, soups and a variety of protein items such as grilled chicken, tuna, ham and turkey, not processed but thanks to the culinary experience of the the chef, the husband, everything is made off site fresh every day. In addition you can get chicken salads, tuna salads, egg salad, fresh hard boiled eggs, fresh avocado, guacamole made from fresh avocado, cottage cheese, crumbled blue cheese, chic peas, beans, any fresh vegetables you can think of, they have. They even have 3 kinds of Kale choices, plain Kale and 2 with other sprinkled cheeses for more flavor. IT’S ENDLESS here. The key to the Salad Spot is going in, picking up a large plastic container that has a top on it to take your food with you or sit down and eat it right there. There are two large salad bars with approximately 150 choices of items to put on your«make your own salad» that are located right in the middle of the store and there is a large selection of dressings, vinegar and olive oil, and in the very back, they have home made soups, chili and meat balls all HOT, for you to serve yourself in smaller cardboard soup containers. All these are home made as well. On the right wall is home made, Green Tea, unsweetened, or Pomegranate Tea and Lemonade. Serve yourself by taking a plastic cup and grabbing a lid to take with you as well. If you want any of the ingredients in Pita, you can give your selections to someone in the back to make you a Pita sandwich. The price can’t be beat. They charge 8.95 per pound. I usually get out of there with a drink paying 8.50−12.50 including a salad and iced tea. The location is perfect, right off Yamato Rd and Congress, in front of LA Fitness and next to the Tri Rail station. So for gym rats and healthy eaters, it is perfect to get your workout done at the LA Fitness and go make your salad to go and take as much protein as you like with you. There is plenty of seating there if you choose to eat in, and they have an area outside to eat as well. The staff, including the owner, are always at the checkout with the scales to weigh your food, and have to be the MOST friendly people in the service industry. Always asking me how I am, always a thank you and appreciation for always coming. You never leave this place without a great attitude from the employees or the owner. Service is so quick For take out I am in and out in 5 minutes and the checkouts are fast. The Salad Spot gives me all the control of how and what to eat and drink. Some days I even just take to my office 6 oz of chicken!!!

This place is amazing — especially for salad lovers! Visited today for the first time and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The owner(I’m assuming) was extremely personable and nice. He explained to us how it worked, what they offered, and he checked up on us while we were eating. They have everything. The salad bar is packed with great stuff along with homemade soups. They charge by pound but you can get a decent amount of food for a decent price. I was extremely pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. Perfect for a healthy and delicious lunch. I plan on coming back again soon!

This place is great! It’s perfect lunch solution when your feeling like a custom salad. Me and a friend met here for lunch on my day off from work. It’s located in a highly trafficked lunch area as many businesses are located nearby. We were there at prime weekday lunch time, noon, and it was a bit of a zoo. They have two separate salad bars and along the back wall Is an area of soups. The salad bar closest to the register has most of the already made salads(Asian salad, Greek salad, pasta salads etc). The other salad bar closest to the soda machines is more of a build your own salad creation. You can pull from both places. They really have EVERYTHING. Additionally they have tuna salad, chicken salad, crab salad and my fave– curry chicken salad to throw on your salad. All the dressings are made in house as are the soups. You pay at the front by weight. The service was extremely friendly. About 20 mins after we arrive and were sitting down the place seemed to clear out a bit. Most people seem to grab their salad and go. I would suggest arriving around 12:30 or so to avoid the rush inside. Parking can also be a challenge in the plaza.

Love this little salad spot. Perfectly named! The salads are all delicious! Whole Foods needs to copy the flavor profiles here! Just fresh and tasty. Really friendly guy up front makes lunch enjoyable! Manager maybe?

Awesome place!!! This is basically a salad buffet… For salad lovers!!! ITSAWESOME!!! Very clean and organized. It reminds me of the salad bar portion of Whole Foods, just a much larger selection! They also have some teas! It’s overall an awesome place. It does get pricey(weighed by container) but the quality is great. You want a Greek salad? Sure!!! Chicken salad? Sure! The gentleman behind the counter is so kind and genuine!(I don’t know if he is the owner) I will be returning!!! Just an awesome place!!!
I love this place. The owner(I believe he is the owner — always working the register) is very friendly along with the lady that works alongside him. The selection is plentiful to build a salad of your liking. There is also fresh made soups and various hot items(meatballs, grilled chicken, taco beef, etc). It’s normally $ 7.49/pound for the salad bar which I think is reasonable for fresh quality food and could get pricey if you choose to overindulge. The space is tight while navigating the two salad bars during the lunch hour rush and there is limited seating inside. There is more seating outside that is shared among the other nearby(counter-service) restaurants. There is plenty of parking, although again, it will be busy during the lunch hours and you may have to walk a little«far»(depends on your definition of far). Given the location, this is a good healthier option than some of the chain restaurants in the area.
