This is a very cool spot. The beers are all craft or artisan and the food is good, but not great. The décor and hip vibe make this a great drinking spot in West Boca and the staff, while hipsters, aren’t snooty. Rather, they are extremely attentive and friendly.

I don’t typically review but I love it here. Ordered chicken burger & organic choc stout. Both amazing. Chill atmosphere, fast service, great staff. Not one negative aspect !(K parking was a b*tch, but it was a Saturday afternoon. Luckily my aggressive driving snagged me a spot out front) Eat here!

Omg wow. Just wow. My brother introduced me to this place last year. You know they say it’s better to undersell a place and wow your friends than to oversell it and leave them in disappointment. My brother is definitely an over seller, he doesn’t hold back. He rants and raves on how great places are before he takes you there. Great thing is that he is always on point and I’m always overly satisfied when he takes me somewhere. Well, the Sybarite Pig is one of the places he introduced me to. He talked up the burgers, Mac n’ cheese, beer selection and quality service. I wasn’t expecting exactly what I walked into when we arrived. Of course, as I said he’s always right so I wasn’t underestimating his review… However, I was mind-blown at just how amazing this place is. I enjoyed the Mac n’ cheese while he devoured a burger(which looked so succulent). He chose our drink selections for the evening as well… Which outstandingly exceeded my wildest dreams(and I’m a craft beer fanatic). The service was so prompt, efficient and and friendly that I felt like I was a lifer even on my first visit. Coming back they knew me by name even on my second trip there. I was very impressed. The staff don’t wear uniforms which I like. They were all dressed very nicely and were able to express their own unique personalities. I like when people can be themselves in the workplace because it makes you feel like your getting someone’s true person and not some dressed up mannequin with puppet strings. They really spend their time with you and relate with you. They give all of themselves to each guest and treat you like a friend in a professional manor. They laugh with you, make suggestions, give their true opinion and really put themselves in your shoes as a customer. I say… Anyone who doesn’t try this place is crazy.

I just took out from here. Cute little vibe inside and a lot of craft beers. But the wagyu burgers tasted off to me and I didn’t like them. We each had one. The Mac and cheese wasn’t that great either. The worst part — it took 45 minutes to get my food and it wasn’t even busy. That’s just too long. The food here is just too bizarre for me and I don’t think I’ll be back.

Needed a quick bite before a party. Followed the Unilocalers to here. Good choice. Fresh food. Lots of different beers. Was told they are good. Not a big menu and no damn French fries. But real solid for what they serve.

Wow do I adore this hole-in-the-wall or what, I only wish it was more far east as I hate driving out to 441. But, on this occasion I was insistent on checking this spot off my list, even though I was only heading in that direction for lunch. We were the first to arrive when it opened at noon. I was starving, and ready for a cold brew. The guy came over immediately, asked if it was our first time visiting and gave us a little background about the establishment. It was a nice greeting, turns out they make everything right down to the burger buns on site. They have a good selection of local brews on tap and in bottles. I started with Barrel of Monks Wizard Wit as it was the closest to a lager on tap. They had a nice specials menu too, and my guy ordered the chicken burger with beet salad side off there, while I went with the Hellswine sausage with a side of mac’n’cheese. My beer complimented my meal perfectly! First the chicken burger — topped cheese, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, onion and some sauce which was delish. For me the hit of that dish was the beet salad, it was so fresh, the beets were nicely pickled which went well with their natural sweetness. As for my Hellswine sausage, which was a chicken/pork blend, it was sat on a red cabbage-craut, with a guava-spicey sauce drizzled over, the heat and spice, over the smoked sausage was an amazing blend in my mouth. The bread was also a hit, it definitely tasted homemade, and was great to dip in the sauce and my residual mac’n’cheese. Now the mac’n’cheese, amazeballs! So creamy, cheese, and I just couldn’t get enough. Forget it being a side, I could have taken a whole bowl of that stuff and still been a happy camper. So has the Sybarite Pig done enough to drag me out of the Eastern sector? Absolutely. It is worth the drive even from the southern point of Broward or the Northern point of Palm Beach. Truly a hidden gem! I’ll be back!

Loved the warm ambiance! Immediately felt at home even though it was my first time. We were quickly guided to our table but watch out the place only sits 50 so seating may be slow. The menu is very small and they don’t do substitutions but the food is totally rich and indulgent as they claim. Bone Marrow — Yum; Wagyu burger — wow. The roasted potato salad — yes please. I can’t wait to try it again!

A friend of mine called and wanted to know if we’d like to get something to eat. She suggested one of her favorite restaurants The Sybarite Pig. Neither Clyde or I had been there before, and we knew it was popular on Unilocal. It seemed like a good idea to try a new restaurant, especially since it was not far from home. Sybarite Pig is a small restaurant with a few tables and stools at the bar. We went on a week end. When we got there all the tables were filled but after a few minutes one of the tables became available. The menu was small although there were specials written on a blackboard behind the bar. Our server told us about a few dishes and suggested the special hamburger of the day which was a curry burger with mango chutney. It came with one side. My friend suggested the Mac and cheese. It was a great suggestion. The burger was not as large as some other burger places, but it was delicious. The mango chutney sauce on top of the burger was a sweet addition. Since it was a special it’s not on their regular menu. The mac & cheese was wonderful. It was a fairly large serving for a side dish. I would order it as an entrée. My friend ordered the bone marrow for the three of us. When it came she told our server that it didn’t have much marrow. He brought a second bone. The marrow bone came with bread and jam. I thought I was going to really like the bone marrow but it didn’t have much taste. It’s not a dish I would order. My friend also ordered beets with feta cheese. I tried it and it was surprisingly good. I don’t usually order beets but I would order these. The drink menu was much larger then the food menu. After I told our server that I like fruity drinks he brought me a sample of an ale that tasted like pears. It was delicious and I ordered it. I thought it was a little expensive, about $ 8.50 for a glass of ale. I had read on Unilocal complaints that the restaurant was very smokey but I didn’t notice that. Maybe they fixed the problem. I enjoyed going to this restaurant. I’m planning to go back.

Diane and I decided to try The Sybarite Pig for dinner. I had heard good things about it but never tried it. We love Lime Fresh and go there quite often. We were thinking of going to dinner there but at the last minute decided to try something new. The Sybarite Pig is right next door to Lime Fresh in Boca. It is a very small restaurant with blackened windows. We went in and had to wait for a table briefly while it was being cleaned. It gave us a chance to check out the beautiful paintings that adorn the walls. The art is incredibly interesting, mostly paintings of musicians, but there were also wonderfully intriguing pictures of various types. Most of the paintings are created by Stuart Glazer on acrylic. When we were seated, our server, David presented us with menus. He was incredibly helpful describing the various beverages. Sybarite Pig specializes in Craft Beers. I am not a huge fan of most Craft Beers. I told David my preference in beer, which is Light beer. Most Craft Beer bars mostly tend toward dark, heavy beers and I usually end up with a bottle of Coors Light. David suggested that I would like Narragansett which is a light lager. He was right. It was a delicious beer that suited my taste perfectly. For my main course, I had the Romanian Beef Sausage cooked perfectly. On the side, I had a delicious small loaf of bread with which I made several little sandwiches. I also had probably the greatest Mac and cheese of my life, beautifully creamy and just cheesy enough. It was all just fantastic. For dessert, Diane and I split a Bacon Chocolate Cookie with Stout Caramel sauce. To my surprise, it was fabulous. I didn’t think the bacon was going to work in a cookie, but it was a great addition to an already wonderful dessert. I had another Narrangansett and was close to being in ecstacy. I loved The Sybarite Pig. I am adding it to my list of great places to go to in Boca. The service was terrific and added so much to a marvelous meal.

What an awesome restaurant. Every element was done with love, from the rustic(very manly) décor and atmosphere to the amazing food, to the outstanding service! The ambiance is interesting, it’s got all the feel of a bar and the subtle macho undertones of a craft brewery, but it’s also refined and fits well with the Boca crowd. The service was some of the best I’ve ever seen! The lovely bartender/waitress(with the blue hair, I didn’t get your name) was so helpful in helping me find a good beer, and was probably the friendliest service staff I’ve met. Made me feel welcome at the restaurant. The beers were also great! I had a bottled beer(funky Buddha Floridian, much like a corona with more tropical hints) to start off with, and then I tried one of their on tap beers, the Jester King Imperial Sour Stout. The lighter wheat beer was great with the burger, and the stout went amazingly with their dessert! So many beers on selection! And the food. Oh the food. I had the Wagyu burger, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. No gimmicky flavones, just honest, craft gastropub quality ingredients cooked in a perfect manner. The beef was so moist and rich in flavor and umami, without being dripping or watery or oily. The duck fat is probably to thank for that, as it added a unique richness and taste. They had a nice sweet glaze or something to the burger too which brought out much of the umami flavors. The mac n cheese side dish was also to die for, the cheese was so rich in flavor and well balanced. It also looked beautiful to eat! Lastly, their bacon caramel cookie was so, so good. It is the flavor of warmth. Paired with the imperial stout, both flavors were the perfect dessert. The coffee-like flavors of the stout(and the sour high notes) really accented the caramel and brown sugar taste. This is what restaurants strive to be, a bastion of quality and friendliness and homeliness that keeps you looking forward to your next visit. And visit again I most definitely will!

Wow, wow, real gastropub food, awesome atmosphere, a real selection of craft beers, WOW. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would be here every night. DONOTMISS this hand crafted experience. When you order the bone marrow, you get the whole length of the bone. The pickled eggs are perfect, a little sweet, a little tangy, perfectly cooked. Try EVERY sausage on the menu, each is truly different, each is perfect. Staff is attentive and pleasant, but it looks like 2 people run the entire place, so be patient and you will truly be rewarded. Classic movies up on the big screens and local artwork for sale on the walls I actually was considering to buy. A great place to bring friends, a date, and a loved one… All at the same time! Oh my little Sybarite Piggy, I long to return to you!

This is what a perfect neighborhood pub that serves tons of craft beer brands and fantastic food looks like. There is very limited seating and I would guess only 6 – 8 tables and perhaps 10 spots at the bar so be warned that there may not be room for you and you may have to wait, but rest assured, the wait will be worth it. I loved the Roasted Bone marrow appetizer($ 9.50) and it was the best I have every had. The Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich $ 11) with a side of Mac and cheese was also incredibly tasty and was fantastic in every which way. The bacon chocolate cookie($ 4) was an excellent way to finish a fantastic dining experience and is an interesting dessert. I really loved the service, style, and the vibe of this place and here is what the owner has to say on the home page of their website: Some facts about us: We’re not trying to be something we’re not. We stick solely to doing what we believe in. We’re learning and teaching every day. We’re respectful of the craft, be it new school or old. We support small business and true artistry. We serve beers we like regardless of who made them or where they’re from. We believe no beer is good or bad, one likes it or doesn’t. We love our food. We take pride in making our food from scratch.

If you haven’t been. Make the trip it’s worth it for unique craft food. I’m always looking for good unique burgers and the Waygu Duck Fat burger is right at the top of my list of must haves. Combined craft food with a great selection of craft beer, this place easily became a favorite of mine. I’ve tried the chicken tacos, the mac n cheese and the potato salad. Each has a phenomenal taste combination of flavors.

I was excited to finally try this restaurant after several of my friends highly recommended it. I walked in the restaurant and immediate noticed the casual, inviting environment where«everybody knows your name». This is a place that is passionate about their beer(full menu of micro brews) and sophisticated pub food. Note: if you are a wine drinker, they only had 4 choices available. Based on recommendations we ordered the following; Apps: Pinwheels(mediocre) and Bone Marrow(good), Main Courses: Mac and Cheese(good), Pulled Pork Sandwich(mediocre) and Duck Fat Burger w/egg on top(really good). To be fair, I’m not a beer guy, so I didn’t experience the food/beer pairing, which is the main concept of the restaurant. I saw most tables and the bar filled with different micro brews from around the country and everyone seemed to be having a blast, so it’s a good place to go with a group of friends/co-workers. So, if you’re someone that likes trying different kinds of beers and good pub food, this is a good choice, but stick with these food choices: Bone Marrow and M&C apps and duck fat burger for main course(really good)…they are the real winners here. As for the beer, just ask the bartender/waiter, they are very nice and knowledgable.

Had such a wonderful experience the 1st time i went here and have always bragged about how awesome the food and service was. Unfortunately today was such a let down. With family visiting from out of town, my boyfriend and I decided to take them here for some food and of course drinks. Was looking forward to getting the duck fat burger to find out that it was taken off of the menu. Not really sure why since it seemed to be a big seller from all of the reviews. BUT that wasn’t the reason for me taking away a star. The service today was just not good. Matthew was our server today and just wasn’t very helpful. I felt rushed, there was no conversation and if we had questions, it was quick short answers. Ended up trying one of the specials today, the Venezuelan tri tip grill. When you order something that has grill in the name … you, well at least for me… expect to get something cooked and most likely char and grill marks. The dish came to the table and it was pale, rare meat… Was more like a ceviche. It was hard to eat and just not what I was expecting. I would’ve hoped that my server could’ve mentioned this to me or talked a little more about the specials, dishes, and drinks. We had questions about the beer menu and were pretty much just sent to a page in the big beer menu.. no recommendation or anything. Then when the bill came, i barely signed the tab and it was snatched away from me because it was the end of his shift. We would’ve stayed longer but but felt rushed so that he can close our tab out.

As I drove up to the restaurant, it seemed small and a hole in the wall but I could smell the delicious BBQ smell from a door away. Upon entering you’ll notice the inside is quite small. There’s about 5 tables and a 10 people bar area? Rough estimate. Good variety of beer on tap written on the chalkboard. Nice touch. Me and my mom went on a Saturday night and waited about 20 minutes to be Seated. She got a dieu du ciel raspberry berlinger and I got the Wells and young banana bread beer. The unique food items I decided to try are the roasted bone marrow, piggy pin wheels, wagyu duck fat burger with a side of pickled beets in Greek yogurt. The bone was orgasmic. It was well seasoned and came with this fruit jam that took away from the oily fatty taste of the marrow, making it wonderful and buttery. The kaiser roll was nice and hot. The only sad part is there wasn’t that much marrow but that’s a cow problem, not the restaurant’s. The piggy pin wheels were cute but nothing amazing. Still good and light fared. The wagyu burger was amazing. It was so juicy, the meat was tender. The egg yolk oozed out and soaked the bun. Ladies, beware! It’s messy and probably not good for a first date. The pickled beets were not my thing but my mom loved them. Too tangy for me. The server was very friendly and helpful. Will go back for desert next time!

As one of my favorite local haunts it is not surprising that I give this place 5 stars. If you were just dropped into Sybarite, without context of location, your first thought would be that this is someplace in Wynwood, like Kush — -with its wood/stone industrial design, art on the walls, congregation of hipsters, and nice selection of taps and beers and bottles — — that would normally be a good guess. However, you are in West Boca and Sybarite is an oasis from suburbia. Beer. It is all about the selection of taps and bottles and cans, to which Sybarite does not have a shortage of variety. In addition to the beers listed in their tome, which lists beers as if they are Magic cards, the daily specials are pretty awesome as well. The gastropub type cuisine here is pretty good, although the portions here are not exactly generous and the prices are higher than average($ 10-$ 15), the overall quality IMHO makes it is worth it. Favorite is the the Wagyu Duck Fat Burger, which is a duck fat fried burger served on a Kaiser Roll with Tomatoes, Red Onions, Red Onion Jelly, Aioli, Aged Cheddar, Bacon and topped with a Fried Egg. So come here enjoy your brew, grub and finish it off with a delicious freshly baked and warm bacon and chocolate chip cookie.
