Great little grocery in town. We came here for a quick lunch and got some fresh deli sandwiches. There are tons of quality items in this store. For the small size they really have quite a bit to offer. Will definitely be back when we swing through Bodega Bay next time.

I work next door so I love this place. It is super convenient and the employees are great. The store has a decent selection for a small town market.

Read below for a disclaimer. Coming into town, we wanted to pick up some essentials for our stay — eggs, milk, butter, bread, fruit, etc. They had these basics, but a small selection — sometimes just one of the thing. Given how small the place is, there isn’t really room for them to have a dozen brands of shampoo(as one other reviewer complains). The prices are about what you’d expect in a tourist town and selection about what you’d expect in a convenience store. While they advertise as a «deli» but this may be a bit in accurate. The deli area had some prepared lasagna, burritos, and what looked like lemon chicken. When I asked for a recommendation for dinner, the gal at the counter suggested the burrito. Brought back, heated up, and gobbled down because I was starving, the burrito was profoundly«okay.» As with Diekmann’s, if you’re in the area, need some staples, and don’t mind the prices, it’s fine. If you have time, are on a budget, or are picky, you’re probably better off visiting a larger store somewhere else. We stopped by on a Sunday night, so our experience may not be representative. It is entirely possible their selection was picked over or they were nearly closed down by the time we got there.

Loved this place! My –1 star is because it’s a little pricey. The staff were all friendly especially the guy with gauges and the girl that wears the little beanie cap. Their sandwiches are great, love the soda in a can option and this was over all just a great little stop in town.

Fun little grocery mart and deli. Great for last minute produce, fresh deli meats and cheeses, and snacks that you may need last minute if you are staying in the area. Prices are a bit higher than your run of the mill, but the convenience of this location makes up for it.

On our way to Bodega Head to see the beautiful scenery, we randomly stopped by the Pelican Plaza to pick up a few items for a picnic. This little store had just about anything you needed and more. The lady that worked there, Carol, bent over backwards to give us ideas on different cheeses they sell and let us try samples of some of the various olives. We picked up a delicious inexpensive bottle of Picket Fence(never heard of it) Sauvignon Blanc which was very good, Brie(excellent), smoked cheddar, olives, crackers, and turkey. They have lots of wonderful deli times to choose from. I highly recommend this gem if you are in the area.

Stopped here after checking out the Sandpiper restaurant next door. Pastrami sandwich with plenty of pastrami! Sourdough roll could have been more sour, but was still tasty. Parked down the street for a better view than the restaurant offered.

I would not shop here again, and I highly recommend that everyone avoid this store, too. I bought a hairbrush and some Herbal Essence 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner(their shampoo/conditioner selection was terrible; it was Herbal Essence or Vo5). The hairbrush packaging(encased in plastic attached to a thick paper backing) fell apart when I picked it up. The lady initially stated that the shampoo/conditioner was $ 3.25, but gave me a once-over and«corrected» herself by saying the price was actually $ 5.25(for an 8 ounce bottle). I don’t think these people have any integrity. Their grocery selection seemed great, but I don’t want to support a seemingly unscrupulous business. Oh, and if you’re a person of color, be prepared to be eyed suspiciously as you shop. If you want to support a business that does this… I don’t really know what to say.

What a pleasure to walk in and see fresh breads, produce and flowers. Our sandwiches were awesome, plenty of nice wines, cheeses and snacks for a picnic. Definitely a much needed good food refuge in this tiny town.

We stopped in a few times during our vacation in Bodega Bay and it’s definitely a great place to grab some items. The place that we stayed with advised us that this was more of a gourmet grocery shop which definitely seemed to ring true. Nonetheless it’s a great place to grab coffee, wine, beer — and if it’s up your alley: cheeses, olives, and various meats.

Spendy — but it has what you need for Bodega Bay getaway provisions. I was still able to find a local bottle of white wine for less than $ 10. A score in my book. Check it out!

It’s expensive… but, where else are you going to go out in Bodega Bay. They probably have the best selection of food of any place out there, clean inside, staff is friendly. Would recommend this place overall.

This place has the best deli sandwitches and homemade salads. I am a local here in Bodega Bay and I always come here at least 3 – 4 times a week I get a sandwitch from the deli and their Asiago pasta. The service is always friendly and everyone that works there are wonderful! This place has a lot of grocery items and household things!

This establishment has THE best deli sandwiches all around. Fresh bread and ingredients, they cut it correctly and the counter is always clean. The deli itself is amazing– cold salads of all sorts, breakfast burritos/sandwiches/calzones, EXCELLENT hot coffee, and delicious, freshly baked goods. They also are a fully stocked grocery store.

This review is particularly for the sandwiches here. After a long camping trip, we wanted a quick bite to eat, so we stopped at the deli here. First of all, I don’t know if it was the hunger or what, but the sandwich was pretty darn good. I had the tuna sandwich on the dutch crunch bread. All sandwiches come with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Other things, such as avocados, are 50 cents to a dollar extra. However, the sandwiches are $ 5.50, and probably about 10 inches long. They don’t toast the sandwiches, though the chicken filet my husband ordered can be warmed up. The weird part is that my friend who ordered with a different lady was told, «There is no dutch crunch.» Then I came along, literally right behind her, and I ordered dutch crunch, and suddenly it was available for me. This was very strange.

If you are headed to the Bodega Bay beaches, this is the place to get your sandwich. Well, ideally, you’d pack some food for the trip, as these aren’t anything really special. But, the sandwiches are pretty tasty, better than Diekmanns across the street. The grocery store is expensive, but they have a pretty good selection. And hey, you’re aren’t funding another big chain.

Located close to the beach, this grocery store is bigger than the average«local grocery store» but don’t come expecting Safeway or Trader Joes. They have everything you need though– from the deli, milk, fruits, veggies, frozen dinners, and toiletries even. I bought some ciabatta bread here and it was as fresh as can be. I made some cheesy bread with it later :) The only downside is that the prices are higher than your average store so I suggest you go into Sebastopol if you plan on going full on grocery shopping. If you’re just looking for a place to pickup snacks, a thing or too, or some items for a picnic, then this is the right place to stop.
