My room was filthy. I am not a picky person when it comes to hotels/​motels. But they didn’t even clean the toilet. We walked in and there was urine all over the toilet and the toilet was not even flushed. Front desk was very pleasant to deal with. The front desk was nice enough that I almost feel bad posting this review… But I mean come on. Don’t leave the guests a dirty toilet bowl. That’s just not right.

I have been coming to this hotel for three years now and highly recommend for convenience and affordability. Friendly staff, never had a problem. Remodeling looks great.

I stayed here at the Lakeland in for 3 days. Yes, It may not be a 5 star place but it is very close to Mac Arthur Airport (ISP). The room was clean and so was the bathroom. I didn’t really have any contact with any of there staff except at check in and out. The cleaning woman did a great job with the cleaning. The only things I really didn’t car for was the free wifi was a little slow, they have outdated TV’s and on there website it says, satellite TV which it did not have, I only got about 20 local channels. Overall, I would stay here next time I visit Long island. The Wifi and TV issues were not that big deal for me considering I was only there to sleep.
