THETOBACCOSMOKE! I do not know what you have separate smoking/nonsmoking rooms that are adjacent to each other. Especially when there are separate buildings, one could be smoking, and another non-smoking. I had an interview the next day, and I am afraid I left smelling like a chain smoker. I could not breathe, most of the night. No one should have to endure that torture, I don’t see how it is possible for people to breathe, especially if they have a respiratory problem. In addition to the smell of tobacco, the room smelled as if there something wet had not been allowed to dry properly. The whole room needed a steam cleaning. There were finger smudges on the fridge door, that could have taken any cleaning person 30seconds to wipe down. In addition to the smell, it appeared that people live in the hotel. There was noise until the wee hours of the night, with a barrage of door slamming around 5:30am. Mind you, this was the middle of the week, and there was gentleman galavanting down the hallway with a beer in his hand. Needless to say, I slept with one eye open. …All of this for over $ 100/night…

Enjoyed a nice relaxing Labor Day weekend stay here. Rooms are spacious and staff is really great. $ 10 cab ride from Long Island Rail Road makes for a great budget stay for travelers. Excellent place to stop before or after a long plane trip. Islip airport is minutes away. Free continental breakfast with waffles, cereal, pastries and coffee. Even met a neighborhood cat checking in!
