Chili’s

Extremely disappointing. Restaurant appeared to be understaffed for a Saturday evening. We waited an hour for our food and then one of our dinners was forgotten. We had to ask the waiter where the rest of our food was. Meanwhile, we could hear the staff laughing and whooping it up in the kitchen. Our four dinners were very mediocre and tasted somewhat stale. None of us ate more than half of our food. The beans and rice looked like they had been sitting in the kitchen for a very long time. The cilantro garnishes were totally limp and wilted. Very unattractive food presentation. I can honestly say this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in Boise. We certainly will not be returning to Chili’s.

Very disappointing meal. My daughter and I had the two dine for $ 20 deal. Appitizer was onion rings. They were ok. daughter had the 6 Oz steak. It was so bad, she didn’t even eat it. There was a weird texture to it and no taste. I tried a bite. How could I make her that? The least of the steaks problems was that they overcooked it. The loaded mashed potatoes? Don’t. I had a burger. It was so so. Nothing to speak of. Then when we were finished, we waited another 12 mins. for our check so we could leave. Never never again.

Chillis is always a favorite. It’s a shame whiney little bitches complained about time for there coupon off chips and salsa that cost like what less than 5 bucks? Chipotle chicken crisper are addictive! I really hate the way America has gone with its sense of entitlement for good service. Servers are human and make mistakes. It’s their source of income and should never be dismissed. You don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Maybe they are under staffed for the amount of business that day or maybe the kitchen is screwing up.

Service was to be expected from a huge chain restaurant like this. The server did get our refills on drinks in a timely manner but she forgot to bring my dinner salad BEFORE the meal like I had asked for. Over all food tastes like any other chili’s anywhere in the country and there really isn’t anything special that makes this one stand out. I would usually give a restaurant 4 stars for that but forgetting my salad after I asked twice lowered it to 3. I know we’re only human but I was a server for 10 years through college. (yes it took me that long to get through a 4 year degree)
If someone reminds you about the salad and you still forget then there is an issue. Especially on a Monday night at 6pm when there are 5 tables total in the place.

Overall terrible service took forever wasn’t that great and on top of it my kid lost a shoe that they couldn’t find it was under the table that they had already swept under when we went to retrieve it. The manager also had the balls to give my daughters two meal vouchers for next time I’ll use them across town.

Been traveling for three weeks and staying in hotels. Got a take out beef fajitas… they were AWSOME. Thanks… finally a great meal.

Their happy hour is amazing — ½ price appetizers and cheap margaritas — but it’s only available if you sit in the bar area. Their buffalo wings have quite the kick, and their customer service is excellent!

We had the worst experience at the Franklin Road location. We were seated quickly. A lady came by and said she was not our waitress but would get our drinks for us. Our waitress was trying to fix a customers bill that she had messed up. After about 10 minutes waiting for our waitress to take our order, she stopped and apologized and said she would be right back. 5 minutes later she took our order. We just ordered the lunch combo. I ordered the enchilada soup and margarita flatbread. The soup was barely warm at best with chucks of chicken instead of shredded chicken and pretty tough. The flatbread was pretty chrispy with to much sauce dribbled over it. We never got our glasses refilled. Upon receiving our bill the waitress showed us how we could pay at our table with the mobile device on each table. Which we did. We saw we could fill out a comment card also using the same device. Our waiter walked up as I was typing and said, «please don’t give me a bad review». Really??? I explained that I would fill it out as I saw fit. Never again will I eat at that location! The Eagle Road location is far better than the Franklin location!

I had the worst experience at the Franklin Rd Chilis today. The food is decent but the service at this location sucks … We got greeted fast enough got water right away then waited for about 7 min or
so for the server to return to take our order. Not really a big deal but considering it was lunch, I’d say that was a little on the slow side. We had a coupon for free chips and salsa that I showed the server and she brought it right out .
Then we ate the whole bowl and continued to sit and wait and sit and wait for close to a ½ hour. The manager walked by and said he was going to check on our food eventually. He brought it out a few min later. We ate then another server not ours cleared our dishes. We then sat and waited and sat and waited for our check. We saw our server doing what seemed to be cut /​side work but still she never came by. They have these new tablets on the table where you can pay your own bill so I decided I would go that route instead of waiting any longer for our check. When I brought up our bill I saw the server failed to comp off our chips and salsa even though I had previously showed her the coupon. So we sat and waited awhile longer. Finally she comes by and I tell her she had not taken the chips off the check. She asks me for the coupon (which was not one use by the way) frustrated I just give it to her. She brings us the check takes our cards and then comes back with a credit card payment slip for the original bill including the chips !!! I had to flag down another server to go find her again she comes back takes another 10 min to figure out how to void the mistake. At one point the manager is talking to her and then he just walks off. She didn’t bring a receipt showing the void. I was so annoyed I requested the manager. The guy came by and seemed clueless about why we would be annoyed. We literally were there trying to pay for 30 min. For a quick weekday lunch we were there for 1 ½ hours!!! The manager actually told me I’m sorry I can’t go back in time and change it. What would you like me to do for you? Do you want a coupon? I mean really !!! He brought me a 5 $ coupon !!! Any one with any customer service and management skills would of taken over the situation when the server messed up our payment. Really bad management!!!

It is what you would expect from a chilis, decent food at a decent price nothing special but nothing to make you run away. The chips and salsa are good, I had the Cesar salad it was good my wife had a mexi bowl thing that she did was good. Service was good, nothing bad to say but nothing that really stood out either.

Went in with my friend and was happy to see that they had a two for twenty dollars meal and that entitles two full size entrees and one appetizer to share. They have a good size menu for this meal and I chose to get six oz sirloin while my friend got the grilled chicken fajitas and we shared the half order of texas cheese fries and these were delicious! I was happy with my meal because it included the sirloin, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli it was a good and filling combination. This is the place to go if you want quality food at a quality price and good/​speedy customer service.

Chilis is by far my favorite restaurant. Their chips and salsa with ranch is the best. The ranch and salsa combo is awesome. I usually get the fajitas my favorite is the buffalo chicken fajitas (not on the menu) but the chicken or steak are great also. My wife try’s new things all the time and has never been disappointed. Best restaurant ever.

I rarely give a Chili’s five stars!
I was met by Krystal when I walked through the door.
She seated me and took care of my every need.
My food was all cooked perfect and Krystal kept stopping by with a smile.
I couldn’t ask for more.

Not a huge fan but hard to beat Happy Hour between 2PM and 6PM. Happy Hour includes $ 2.50 Bud Lite drafts (what I order) and half price appetizers excluding the Triple Play appetizer. The half price appetizers are AMAZING! For cheap beer and amazing apps for half price, it’s hard to beat Chili’s. The service is hit or miss but haven’t wanted to jump over the bar counter and strangle the bartender to this point. In my most desperate times in need of boneless buffalo wings, this Chili’s has never disappointed us!

I don’t remember the last time that I enjoyed a Chilis restaurant as much as I did this time!
The service was wonderful.
The Quesadilla Explosion salad was the best Chilis salad that I’ve had in the 18 years which I have been exposed to this family restaurant chain.
Even the hostess was upbeat & genuinely pleasant.
If this place keeps up the high standards which they are evidencing now, they are sure to excel and I would surely return.

I come here for the baby back ribs, of course.

My first visit to this Chili’s will also probably be my last visit to this Chili’s. Went there for lunch, arriving at about 12:45. The place was not crowded — and I now know why. The service was terrible. Finally had to ask a passing waitress to take our order after waiting about 10 to 15 minutes. When the food finally came the coffee was old and terrible. They had only fake non dairy creamer stuff — no real half and half. After asking for something better, they brought a small bowl of milk and a soup spoon to add the milk to our coffee. But it was so bad we couldn’t drink it. The soup was OK and the sandwich was fair. After talking to the manager they gave us our food for free, but it does not make up for a really bad experience. We’ll avoid this place.

We visited Chlli’s on Franklin in Boise for Valentines Day dinner. We were surprised that at 6:30pm we were able to walk in and get seated immediately, we had expected a long wait. The restaurant was about ¾ full. We ordered sodas and we handed our server a coupon for free chips and queso that we printed from their website. The chips and queso came almost immediately, even before the drinks. Drinks soon followed and our server was great at keeping them refilled. This is one of our benchmarks of a great server. The three of us feasted on the delicious chips and queso, which also came with very flavorful salsa. We moved on to huge burgers and yummy fries. We took home at least half of everything because the portions were so big. Everything was delicious and the burgers were cooked perfectly. We shared the Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert. It was scrumptious. With tax and a 20% tip we spent a very reasonable $ 54.00.

What a crock. We waited for our lunch and it wasn’t even crowded. Must’ve been 30 – 40 minutes. Just a joke. Then the mgr said he was going to take $$$ off the bill for it and it turned out to just be the drinks. Some of us only had WATER. so thanks for nothing! Don’t waste your time eating here.

The service was terrible. We waited and waited for our drinks, waited and waited some more for some extra stuff we asked for. Then we even had to wait for our check. Needless to say we didn’t leave a tip. I can’t even remember if the food was any good.
