Purchased a mattress on 12/01/2015 and opted to pick-up myself the next day. The service in the warehouse is poor at best, and they seemed irritated to even help me load the mattress ontop of my SUV. Aside from the irritation, they seemed like they were in a huge rush, but not really doing anything. The guy that pulled my order slammed the mattress ontop of the car and snapped my bike rack. After hearing the loud pop he just ran back inside, shut the door and didn’t even say a word or offer to tie-down. I was actually VERY shocked by this because appliances and large purchases like this require quite a bit of arrangements and care. I would pay full price anywhere else knowing my goods won’t be damaged, and leave feeling confident in the service and quality of what I’m leaving with just based on the associates demeanor.

Purchased a dishwasher and the installation service with it. Installers did not install the dishwasher correctly and I had a lot of water damage to my wood floors, crawl space and drywall. Filed a claim through their claims company which is Sedgewick. Four months later the damage has still not been repaired and whenever I contact the claims company I am given the run around. Perhaps this is just a problem with Sears outlet or maybe Sears in general. If you decide to purchase here, I would definitely not purchase the installation agreement unless you want to spend time in court trying to get damage to your home repaired from faulty installation.

I needed appliances for two rental houses(at separate times) so this review is based on multiple trips. Overall, definitely worth checking out if you’re in the market for new appliances. I found a great deal on an over the range microwave. The others, not so much. I couldn’t find a plain white basic dishwasher for less than $ 290 during the couple of weeks timeframe we were looking for one(and they’re all damaged or returned) but we found a brand new one for $ 199 at RCWilley. We ended up buying the rest of the appliances from Lowe’s because of the military discount they give all current/former military, and Lowe’s has free delivery. Ultimately even though the appliances were cheap, most are damaged/dinged in some way, but the delivery is what made us shop elsewhere for the bulk of the appliances. I would shop here again for comparison but the delivery fee is steep plus they require you to take delivery in 5 days. They’re not THAT cheap and when we factor in delivery costs, it wasn’t that good of a deal for us after all. I suppose if you want high end expensive appliances this might be a good place to get a good deal but it’s hit and miss. That’s the nature of a scratch and dent store though. They also have a NORETURN policy and if I’m going to pay nearly the amount that I would at Lowe’s with the military discount and free delivery, that’s a huge negative to me. Make sure you measure before you buy!

I came to the sears outlet looking for a potential replacement for my refrigerator. When I walked into the store I immediately felt as if I had walked into a big lots that happened to sell appliances as well. There were 4 – 5 staff on hand(none of which were helping customers). One salesman was talking on his cell phone and continued to do so for the 30 minute duration of my visit. The other sales people were less than helpful. When I was FINALLY approached the salesman asked me if I’d like an ad. I said«sure». He handed me an add and walked away. Once again I was left to wander around myslef. Now let’s talk about the products. Most of the appliances that they had for sale looked as if it had fallen out of the semi trailer while in transit. And the models that were in good condition were the same price(or close to) as buying a brand new model from a retail store. After this visit to the outlet I’ve decide I will ONLY shop the sears in the mall and never come back inside this outlet again. Avoid this place…

Official grand opening is coming up on June 8 but the store is open now and in full sales mode. Primarily appliances; think new washers, dryers and refrigerators that have been a bit scratched or dinged or returned by original buyer at prices that are 30% to 60% off retail. Then again, WHO would pay full retail under any circumstances? Assortment of brands available; Kenmore(of course), Whirlpool, Maytag, Admiral, Samsung, LG and so on. Any returned item is put through a multi point inspection to be certain it all functions as new. They charge about $ 70 for delivery in the Boise area, more in further away locations. Not particularly flexible about delivery dates or times and unfortunately the sales people have no authority to modify that. They also have a few pieces of patio and bedroom furniture, or at least did on the day of our recent visit. But this is a moving target for what might be in the store on any given day or what the prices may be as they are an outlet. THIS N THAT: 1) SERVICE: Salesman Roman is top notch for being helpful and knowing current inventory. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in and throughout with ample room between displays.
