Terrible company. Charging for tech support and firmware updates. Forcing you to buy tech support and firmware updates through a 3rd party. Literally the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Asked for a call back and they said they can’t dial out on their phones. Asked for a manager and was told he was only reachable through . email the manager and he insists we talk via email, and when I pushed to speak on the phone said it would be 3 days later as he’s very busy.

Tech support charges for calling them… Are you kidding me… Who does that on day one after receiving router I called to get help on a setup issue I was having and they wanted to charge me. This company is a joke for charging a consumer who is already waste their time on calling on a their product that does not work… I will be sure to spreak the work on these crooks. At lease state that in the description when you purchase the product.

Our company had a bad experience with customer service and asked for a manager to call me, never heard back. Called back again to request a supervisor contact me, still no call? I feel this company either is miss managed, of doesn’t care about its customers, Our company will be returning all there equipment and looking for a vendor that returns calls to cusomers,

If I could give a negative star rating I would. A few years ago I purchased a CradlePoint router to use with my Sprint USB card. It worked great and proved a good solution to my need to have internet wherever I went. However, for Christmas, we purchased an AppleTV and were having problems getting it to connect to the internet. Apple support determined our router was blocking access and told me to reach out to CradlePoint to have them help me open some critical ports. I spent several hours working with CradlePoint support rep, Eric. We were using online chat which was a terrible experience. Every time I would send a chat message, their chat product pops you up to the top of the chat block so you have to keep scrolling to the bottom to read recent responses. Also Eric was extremely slow which led me to believe he was probably chatting with multiple customers at the same time. I continually asked if we could just talk on the phone and he would never respond to the request. I suspect he was not in the US. One of the first steps he should have done was to confirm my firmware was updated, which it wasn’t. Finally, after more than an hour of chatting, I asked him if I should update the firmware. After I did update it, he said, «well, our offices are now closed so you should be fine.» Needless to say, I never got my CradelPoint router to enable AppleTV access so I had to buy a new router — which worked out of the box. I would never buy any products from CradlePoint. Their tech support is extremely poor and they are non responsive.
