Del Taco

I love Del Taco as a chain, I frequently drive from mountain home to Boise in the middle of the night just because of a craving. But this store by far is the absolute worst I’ve ever been to both service and quality. It is so inconsistent with the food it’s hard to believe I’m at the same place sometimes. I have had to wait in the drive thru up to a half hour only to have my order wrong. Missing items in my bag having to turn back a few times, The fries seem to either be not cooked enough, old but sometimes fresh just being fair, but it’s a gamble every time. My final straw was my visit last night, I ordered an epic carne asada burrito and it literally was a regular plain bean burrito previously made reopened and a little carne asada added in that’s it… just Terrible, cold and half the normal size, not to mention missing items once again. I immediately drove to another Del taco on Franklin because I’ve had enough poor service from this place and I ordered the same one with a complete night and day difference… size, quality and appearance, it was exactly like the menus description and freshly made. I wish I took a side by side picture, I will never go back to the Broadway store again, way too many chances given. I Highly recommend the store on the corner of orchard and Franklin, perfect every time even if it’s more out of my way… It’s worth it!

I absolutely like del taco but this location is so slow to get food out they should be embarrassed

Doesn’t get any better than Del Taco, better selection of items on their menu. The food is authentic and fresh, and not to mention insanely delicious.
I like Taco Bell & Taco Johns, but they really don’t have nothing on Del Taco.
I also have to give Del Taco props for having in store promotions to get… wait… wait for it… FREE FOOD! Just do a simple task and you’ll get a voucher, much better than the model most places use in which you have to buy something before you get the deal.

I go here a more often than I should. They have good food. They have pretty good customer service. One of them always remembers my favorite sauce. They offer military discount with id.

Of course it isn’t «Mexican food» in that you get REAL, AUTHENTIC fare from south of the border. This is Del Taco (DT) — total, typical Americanized fast food that is unhealthy, greasy, and OH SO GOOD! The service at this particular DT on Broadway is fine. I’ve never had one issue with the peeps here. They are attentive and competent. Everytime I get what I order and the food is delish! I give DT five stars as a company because every item I have had is so far superior to Toxic Hell, it’s main competitor. My only wish: PLEASE COME TO TWIN FALLS!!!

So I’ve been going here every Tuesday for going on four years. Before you think how much money I’ve spent there, don’t it will hurt your mind. It hurts mine a little, but that is okay you know why? ROCKING FOODS.
Now I am not a wealthy human being, but I do like to eat, and I don’t particularly enjoy cooking. Del Taco and I have worked out a good situation.
Also now think on how fat I should be after eating there so much, I’m not! Also they do not use animal products in their beans so if you want a veggy friendly option you can substitute any taco meat for beans. If you eat fish tacos or shrimp tacos each is presented with a lime and you need to use it and it is glorious. My carnivore friends are never disappointed.
I have brought people here year after year and we have never had a bad experience and the people legitimately are there long enough to get to know most of the time! So if you become a regular or not, it is a great experience.
Inside is always very clean and newly remodeled, they bring your food out if you sit down, they are always very polite!

I have been to this location a number of times and not on me is it convenient the almost always have excellent staff that is cheerful and competent. So far my favorite person has been heather v. I do not know her personally but I think she deserves a raise.

Cheap food that tastes alright. Service is terrible. One day I will learn my lesson and not go there again.

They have 35 cent tacos! That is a very good deal, even if it is similar to Taco Bell. My boyfriend says «It’s so much better than Taco Bell!!!»

It’s not amazing yet it’s such a great guilty pleasure. The big fat tacos are my favorite!

If you come into Del Taco expecting Mexican food, you will be sorely disappointed. While they have some Mexican type food, Del Taco and its ilk is Americanized fast food Mexican.
Within that category, Del Taco stands hands and shoulders above the rest. Taco Bell? Barely edible. Taco John’s? Disgusting. Del Taco uses fresh, basic, ingredients to pull together tasty and semi-​healthy food. When choosing fast food options — any fast food options — Del Taco is always one of my top two choices.
