Food is okay at best, but it’s inconsistent. Worse, they have poor customer service. They don’t listen and are unpleasant. Even during slow periods, they are out of ingredients you’d think are critical, like chicken, steak, or guacamole (if they have guac, it’s brown). Are they apologetic about this? Nope. They’re inconsistent about other things too. Recently went to get a breakfast burrito and was told they’d stopped serving breakfast already although it was about 20 minutes before 10:30am (the posted end time for their breakfast). The employee all but shooed me out of the store. After many tries, I’ve given up on this location. They’re rude and the food isn’t worth that treatment.

They just can not get it right. I asked for chicken nachos. The guy was nice enough and he started to make them. He asked me what kind of cheese I wanted and I told him «Just plain nacho cheese.» He then said he was sorry and that they were out of it. Then he asked what kind of meat. I replied chicken. Again he said he was sorry and they were out of chicken. I ended up getting bean nachos. What a bummer.

This place serves marginal Mexican and it is way overpriced, I do not know what all the hype is about this company, go to a local taco truck for a good taco and reasonable price.

Lacking luster if you know what I mean. I came at noon on a weekday. You would think their ingredients would be fully stocked with fresh ingredients for the upcoming lunch hour right? Wrong. There was no grilled veggies, the guacamole was brown and the sour cream was sour soup. It tasted good, don’t get me wrong. They slapped on a ton of meat on my burrito which was great but it wasn’t a phenomenal burrito you would expect from a place that’s main specialty is Burritos.

I love everything about Qdoba. The food is healthy, fresh and great tasting. I really appreciate how patient and the employees are. I never feel rushed like at some other places. So happy that they opened the store downtown.

We recently started going to the Qdobas in Meridian after I had it for lunch at an event. My wife, who has a lot of issues with fast food and doesn’t find many restaurants she really likes, has this on her short list. We are very happy to see one in Boise, and it’s conveniently located to a lot of the places we go! ;-)
Good healthy food, with a variety of menu choices, and not your average Mexican fare. Try the Mexican Gumbo. Fabulous!
