Best place to get breakfast in Boise! Awesome atmosphere, wonderful waitresses and super affordable for the amount of food you get. Absolutely love this place.

Family-​friendly atmosphere diner. The service is great, fast, my coffee cup is always full. The food tasted the same as other breakfast restaurants. I ordered the 4th of July waffle, loved the blueberries and strawberries on top and whipped cream… no need for extra syrup. I tasted the pancake that my husband ordered (small size for them is really big!) and it tasted ok, I like a fluffy kind better. To me, it tasted like it wasn’t fully cooked. Overall, we came out full and ready to hit the day.

Service here is very good… my coffee was alway full food is delicious… the vibe here is great. the wait staff greet you with a smile and they look happy to be at work… I will come back and bring the kids it’s great family place.

I am writing this review upon my 2nd visit. This is one of those simple diners that aren’t simple to find anymore. Food is wonderful. Both of my waitresses Karen and Andrea were super nice and provided excellent service and prices very fair.

I came here for lunch. the wait staff is very friendly. I like the retro look of the place. they had curly fries which were awesome. the burger was good I had the early bird burger. the prices were fair

Love this place for breakfast. Nothing sensational, just good food. I think it’s greatest asset is its staff — they are friendly (treat you as if they have known you for years, even if it is your first time), efficient and very helpful. This is our go to place for quick breakfast when we are in Boise!

We love Eddie’s Diner! It is very much like the diner’s on the east coast but just not open 24 – 7. The food is what you would expect from a diner, breakfast all day and a large selection of items, and not too greasy. Some of it is really good– like the chicken fried steak and biscuits, and some of it is not– like the chili. My boyfriend loves the eggs benedict, and either way they always have some pretty good specials. The price is great for our budget, and we eat here about once every 2 weeks for less than $ 20 for 2 people. The wait staff is friendly and makes an effort to get to know you, which makes it feel like a place you start to belong to.

Just had a really really poor bacon burger the only thing fresh was the bun. Every thing was wilted cold and dry. I wonder what the meat really was. Juicy could not be used to describe and did I mention no flavor. It is a crime to serve a bad burger in America

This is the place you go when you are new in town, home sick, and really need some french fries. Or maybe you are 15… I could see myself going here as a teenager with my friends. I don’t have a car at the moment, so this is the restaurant closest to me that serves fried food. I think the curly fries are a little too crunchy… and not enough potato. But the waitresses are always so nice, my spirits are usually lifted by the end of the meal… even if it wasn’t the best burger I ever tasted: P
Pros: The Fry Sauce (I think that’s what it’s called), the friendliness, the old-​school/​faded pictures on the wall, it’s within walking distance
Cons: It just doesn’t taste that great… below average, kinda overpriced, the potato salad
Oh, Eddie’s. Sorry, I am being harsh on you… but we just didn’t seem to hit it off together! We can still be friends!
