This is the best place to get Colombian food as far as I am concerned! I grew up in Bogota and ever since I moved to america have been searching for a great Colombian restaurant. I have been to many in bigger cities(Chicago) and I find that this one, even though its a lot smaller, competes and even exceeds those restaurants.

Like another reviewer wrote, it will take a little bit for them to prepare your food, but it was worth the wait. I’ve traveled around Colombia, my mother is from Bogota, and I am familiar with the cuisine. My daughter and I loved it all. It’s the real deal. Both ladies working were friendly. We ate a traditional tamale loaded with meat, potato, and vegetable. These are bigger than the Mexican style tamales. One can be a meal in itself, especially because they serve it with a side of rice. The carne with arepa and salad was standard fare with a generous portion of meat. The highlight was the papas rellenas. This is one of my daughter’s favorites. It wasn’t fried into a perfect sphere, but it tasted delicious. The meat was seasoned just right. The outer layer of potato was crispy and the inside soft. I had to stop her from eating the entire thing. They serve Lulo juice, which was a pricey but surprising treat to see on a menu in Boise. We can’t wait to return to try the arequipe, platanos, and stuffed arepas.

Went here today for lunch. Great Latin food and some of the best in town. The international market is where lunch is at right now in Boise

One of the best Latin American meals i have ever had in my life!!! You can tell it is made from scratch using only the best ingredients. Food took about 15 minutes but it was well worth the wait. I had a combo plate that had sausage, beans, rice, fried egg, chichuro(sp?) carne asada, plantains, and some other rice cake thing(not sure of the name). Every thing was delicious. The beans had so much flavor I could have just had them for lunch. Enjoy!!!
