I usually have better things to do than to write reviews, but when I heard about all the negativity towards my hairdresser of several years, Cassie Reavis, I made it a point to come on and let you all know that she is amazing. I have been getting my hair dyed for over 18 years and am incredibly picky. The gal I went to before Cassie did fry my hair to the point that it fell out at the very top (not great for a long-​haired gal), and Cassie has done everything she can to help correct the issue. She sent me home with deep conditioning treatments, has gone out of her way to help it when I’m in the salon, and is just a kind-​hearted, and very talented artist. My husband is always relieved when I go in to see Cassie because he knows she’ll get it right the first time! She brings my naturally mouse-​y brown roots up to the color blonde I want and is a delight while doing so!
While I can understand that there was a slight unfortunate situation with one of her past clients, that doesn’t discount the amazing work she’s been doing for years. As I have personally referred several friends to her, I have the utmost faith in her abilities.
I can only say that I will continue to go to Cassie as long as Boise has the pleasure of having her as a hairdresser. She is patient, kind, honest and talented!

I absolutely adore Cassie Reavis. She not only makes me feel fabulous while I’m in her chair, she makes me look fabulous, as well. She listens to what I am looking for and perfectly executes better than I can even explain. I am so appreciative for Cassie and would recommend her to anyone. She is greatly talented and incredibly knowledgable.

Cassie Reavis, is the most kind hearted, genuine, talented beyond words, loving person i can honestly say I have ever met! She is a GORGEOUS person inside and out! When you sit and talk with her she makes you feel like you also are the most beautiful! Cassie is so incredibly Talented and makes her work A piece of art! If you are a client of Cassie’s you are a very lucky person!

I have been getting my hair professionally done for the past 11 years in this community, as well as some of the top salons in the nation, maintaining my beautiful naturally thick healthy hair. As a natural blonde, I do not need to do much to my hair besides tone it. The past year I have been having my roots colored dark brown/​black. My stylist, Cassie Reavis, had been doing my hair the past year. I went into my appointment on dec 30 with clear instructions to slowly start moving the blonde back up, to eventually not have to maintain roots any longer. Had no problem with this being a gradual process… but she insisted on lifting the color out with bleach. I was hesitant because I’ve never had lightner placed on my roots, but also trusted her as the professional. Keep in mind this salon uses or advertise «Olaplex» I asked her about it and she said she did not like using olaplex. She puts the bleach on my head leaves the salon to go get more bleach… I sit there with bleach on my head while the other 6 people working think nothing of it. She rinses me out, then there is a red ring I say it’s ok if I have to keep it like this for a few weeks, but she says she can not have me leaving the salon like that… puts bleach on my head again, while the owners and other professionals say nothing. Basically she applied this bleach on that line and overlaps color a huge error from a professional… beauty school 101. Takes me back to the sink for an hour where she struggling putting Toner and who knows what else in my hair… takes me back to the chair and I have no hair! Over 90% of my beautifully maintained hair had fallen out at the wash bowl. Everyone staring at me including owners as I stand there in complete shock and humiliation… she is almost in tears apologizing for her mistake and says to go to another salon for a color correction specialist… I left Fête looking like the photos below. Not once did they reach out to me, offer any sort of Compensation such as hair conditioning treatments to try and salvage what was left on my head. It is disgusting that a business like this exists with absolutely no customer service or care for their clients. Not once did they reach out to see if I was ok. I showed them respect by remaining calm and not causing a sene in front of the clients that were there. It sickens me that these small business owners have no pride or respect for the industry that they are in and not one ounce of professionalism. Save your money and go else where, where they take pride in their jobs and customer service and remain professional as a business and to their customers!

This was my first time at Fête, and I’m a Las Vegas resident, who was in Boise for the holiday. After my long-​term stylist left town, I haven’t been able to find a great stylist in LV that don’t work at high-​end Strip salons. After checking reviews, I booked a haircut with Tara Chowdry, who was reportedly good with long naturally wavy hair. Tara did an amazing job! I love my haircut! I haven’t said that in a long while. I showed her some styles from a fave Instagram account and she loved the lived in look as well. She knew just what to do. Not too much off, but just enough inner layers to create body, movement and a modern edge to my natural locks. I can hardly believe how great my hair looks. I totally recommend Tara!

I recently moved to Meridian from the «OC» in Southern California. I had no luck in finding a real hair «stylist» and was very close to making a trip back to the OC just to get my hair cut. Fortunately, a friend recommended Mari Holm at The Fête Style Bar and thankfully, she made time to get me in! I am extremely pleased with how my hair turned out and couldn’t be happier to have found Mari. She took time to look at my hair, make suggestions and was extremely pleasant. I highly recommend Mari for cut, color and styling.

I love Heather Sword! I followed her to Fête from another salon in town, and get a great color and cut from her every time. She really takes time at the start of my appointment to listen to what I’m thinking, and not only clarifies what I want, but also makes suggestions. Even if it’s just a simple trim, my style turns out flawless. She is so easy to talk to as well, and the time flies by in her chair. I trust her with my hair and highly recommend her for all your hair care needs.

Absolutely love the atmosphere at Fête Style bar! Brandy Murdoch is a great stylist and so fun to talk with!

Great Salon and Great Stylists!!!

I had been desperately trying to get my hairdresser to do something specific and he just wouldn’t listen. So, I tried someone new and I’m so glad I did! Mari did a great job on my cut and color (seriously, my hair looked just like the picture I took in). She also recommended a great product that worked perfectly on my hair and took the time to teach me how to style my hair so I could get the look I wanted without a salon blow out. Love, love, love my hair and will definitely be back!

Ugh. Still trying to grow out this horrendous do. Maybe they’re better with long hair but my short pixie cut is looking terrible 3 weeks in.

Ive been following the stylists at fête for years because i know they do a fantastic job for my family and I be it regular styling or that special something for prom, wedding etc. You will not be dissappointed!

Fête continues to give me hairgasms. My hair has never felt and looked this sexy in years. To compare to another would not be fair. There is no other that can do what fête can do. Boise, I have waited for a place that could sanctify my hair’s most inner thoughts, desires, and needs. And fête continues to rise to that occassion over and over again. My stylist Angela is a breath of fresh hair… Uhum, I mean air. If your obsessed with your hair like I am, then fête is the place for you. No other salon will touch my hair as long as I live, so help me God.
