Honestly the worst bagel I’ve ever had. Hate to write a bad review, but the service was dismal. The employee was half asleep and we had to repeat a couple of times that, yes, we wanted coffee. The bagel was soggy and, I fear, had some mold spots. Really disappointed because I’ve always been pleased with Moxie Java elsewhere.

Certainly a happy time to have good coffee at a very early time of day. Customer service was exceptional and timely. Ordered a few coffees and bagels. All items were done correctly, which is not that big a deal normally but during this busy hour I was very impressed.

My addiction to traveling finds me in the Boise airport quite often. Moxie is always a must for me. The staff is pleasant and the drinks are delightful! I’m a bit partial to the huckleberry Italian soda and the huckleberry latte, but I’m confident you won’t be disappointed by whatever treat you choose.

I woke to the wet tongue of the TSA security dog licking my face. The usual questions floated to the top of my mind as I struggled to focus. How did I get to Boise? Why am I in the airport? What am I doing in the bottom of this salsa cart? Thankfully, as I stood up and told the officer«thanks, I found my contact» I saw the Moxie Java sign. I shuffled over and requested a 10oz Mocha as politely as I could. The staffer put together a nicely crafted cup, just the right temperature to consume immediately if not sooner. It hit the spot — and it wasn’t overly priced, like some airport food. First time this side of Portland that has happened. All in all, a fine place to help slap your senses back into focus should you find yourself in the Boise airport waiting for something you don’t quite remember clearly…

This is a nice little Coffee shop inside the Boise Airport. The coffee is hot and fresh! Plus they were open @ 5:45am when we were there to fly out in the morning. Always a wondrous and lovely thing. They also have teas and offer caffeine filled things. As well as muffins, snacks and other goodies. On this morning all I wanted was a lovely, hot strong cup of coffee. Not as strong as Starbucks and I was happy for that because, drinking Starbucks that early with no food and drinking it black can at times be way too strong. I am happy they are here and happier yet that they were open. Yeah Boise!

There are times when you just NEED to grab a cuppa before your flight and thankfully Moxie Java is there to fill that need. Definitely a cut above the other coffee offerings in the Boise airport, Moxie has all the usual caffeinated elixirs which can give you your jolt of joe. Moxie Java has three locations in the airport, one before and two after you pass through security. The pre-security Moxie is located to the right of the Outpost Café just as you approach the TSA screening area, the second is located once you pass through security on the lower level, just take the escalator down and you can’t miss it and the third one is in the center of the terminal with the B gates. The lattes and americanos are decent, they have some other beverages and snacks to grab and go as well. The counter folks(definitely don’t mistake them for baristas) are efficient enough but somewhat *blah* in temperament.
