Doing a grab and go for dinner tonight. Had my lady call it in so once I’m out of work I’ll walk in and pay and walk out. I walked in and since no one was in line I walked up and let the kid know I’m here to pick up. He told me I have to wait my turn and need to wait. Odd for a pick up. A person walked in after me and ordered right away without any problems. After that the kid looked at me and smirked a cute little smirk and walked away. He went to the back and I heard laughing right away. This went on for a short time and as he returned he began whispering racist jokes to his buddies. Loud obnoxious laughter filled the room. The other customers exchanged annoyed looks. Finally he came up to me and said, «pick up?» I nodded he wasn’t sure if the name attached was mine even though it was the only pick up under that name as another kid said. They both agreed it wouldn’t matter as long as it was paid for. I paid and left. I shall not return to this location. **All of this was a gluten free order, knowing that it could be contaminated by gluten I ordered anyway. After eating we learned that the order was in fact not on gluten free crust. My girlfriend can handle mild amounts of gluten but at this level she is sick.

Kudos for gluten free crust. Good flavor and ingredients. They always have coupons running, too.

Just like in Fiddler on the Roof, Tevye(only in this case it’s Papa Murphy) comes to the rescue, again and again. OK, OK… maybe it’s not quite like that. But when dinner is on the line and you’re looking for a fantastic take and bake… this is definitely your place. Papa Murphy’s has a great selection of pizzas you can take home, stick in the oven for a few minutes and then enjoy piping hot pizza while your cookies are baking to perfection(if there’s any of their amazing cookie dough left???). This location of Papa Murphy’s has always impressed me with its friendly staff and clean store. So, start a new«Tradition» by getting to Papa Murphy’s… And you too, much like Perchik and Hodel or Tzeitel and Motel, will find yourself uttering the words«Thank you, Papa!»

Oh… Papa Murphys… how I do love your fast food like celerity and cost coupled with the feeling I get of having actually cooked dinner because I had to turn on the oven. It’s a beautiful relationship we have… They offer the usual variety of pizza(including dessert pizza), salads, soda, and even stock a little cookie dough to boot. I’m a big fan of their Herb Chicken Mediterranean Delite. The crust is enviably thin and the toppings fresh and flavorful. I mean, it has feta on it, people! And, sun dried tomatoes! Plus, a nice bit of olive oil spread on the crust in lieu of a more traditional sauce choice. Seriously… a Friday night favorite in my house. I frequent a few different Papa Murphy’s around town and this one is by far my favorite. They don’t have a drive thru, but that’s no matter as they will get you in, out, with ready to bake za in hand faster than some of the other locations do at their drive thru. The service is friendly and the joint is always clean. Plus! There’s a liquor store right next door – pick up your pizza and some premixed chocolate chip cookie dough, grab some booze, and head home for a Dexter marathon… or you know… whatever you do with your free time…
