Let me just say that I miss Torchys. I miss Tacodeli. I miss all the other options that exist for epic tacos in Austin and The Funky Taco makes me feel all better. The Benedict Taco was soooo good, albeit a bit messy, but that’s on me for being something of a sloppy eater. The vegan breakfast taco was very unique in how it has a mint crème and vegan chorizo. Just splendid. I am really looking forward to getting back over to this gem ASAP.

We were thrilled to find The Funky Taco and even more pumped about their Vegan options. The guy that took our order was super friendly and offered some great suggestions. We ordered the Bahn mi mi taco and the Chana masala tostado. Both were fab!

Pardon me while I wipe my drool off my chin while I write this post. Um, yum. I usually try to wait until I have tried a place multiple times to write a review but I can for sure vouch for their Macho Taco. I had planned on taking a photo but I was so excited while eating, I kind of forgot… I apologize. Brisket, cabbage, some heavenly sauce stuffs, I honestly do not even remember what else was on it, I just focused on getting it into my BELLY! Yes, I visited them at the Boise Farmer’s Market and it was around 12 and they were selling out of their meals. When we got their, one burrito was already off the menu but in the time it took us to get our food, two others became sold out. If you can, get there before lunch! With that being said, they also had a breakfast-like burrito that included egg. Their truck is awesome. End. of. story.
