I should grow a stache and curl the ends in honor of zimms. Great serving size, taste, and customer service. It’s a fast food building layout without the fast food taste. You get a restaurant taste. I recommend.

I was prepared to be underwhelmed because of previous reviews but I wasn’t! The boyfriend and I came in Saturday and were pleased with the friendly, thorough staff as we had special requests for our burgers. My Lou brown burger was a-mazing, spicy and the bun was bomb. The fries were good, and milk shake wasn’t bad either. It was, however more than I would usually spend on a burger joint. Worth it though!

I recently ate at Zimm’s while they were doing a fundraiser for an organization for the deaf, which I thought was awesome of them. The biggest downfall was the wait. Granted it was busy, but it’s still«fast food.» We stood in line waiting to order for about 20 – 25 minutes. Yeah. They just actually stopped taking orders at one point. I understand they may have been understaffed, but when doing a fundraiser, management should plan ahead for those situations. Once we finally ordered, it was simple, and the food came out relatively fast(less than 10 minutes). I’m not a huge fan of fried food, or greasy burgers, and that’s what Zimm’s is. It was good for what it is, but just not my cup of tea. My date seemed to enjoy his meal, though. We might be back to try another item on the menu, but I don’t think we’ll be rushing down the doors.

This is my first time trying zimms and I must say i was pleasantly surprised. My family and I decided to have a burger night, so we got burgers from a few different restaurant’s and then picked the winners. We ordered a mushroom swiss and a zimms burger which has ham and bacon on it. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the buns were so much better then your standard sesame seed bun. If I’m in the area and hungry I would definitely stop here again. Theres many more menu items that I would like to try.

We were looking for a new place to eat and I had seen the sign for the Alaskan Cod hand dipped. SO we went and not good. Small pieces of fish and really really greasy. Fries were ok and my daughter got the tots which were ok too, but probably not going back.

The tots were overcooked and dry. Had the mushroom swiss burger and the meat was still raw. The strawberry shake was excellent! That’s why I gave it two stars. Otherwise was pricey for a mediocre burger meal.

It is a pretty good fast food burger joint, with quite a few chicken options as well. Burgers are above average, especially the Zimm’s Burger with bacon and special sauce. The fries were large and looked good, nice and golden, but were undercooked and mealy inside. Plenty of internal seating and quick service, however, if you’re going to be a burger and fries place, you need to get the fries cooked right. The burger was good, so I’ll give them another chance on the fries and go back to check it out.

The finger steaks were pretty good. The hamburger however was not. It tasted frozen and was bland, dry, and tough. The fries were ok but also tasted frozen. The burger had a weird bun too — sort of a cornmeal thing. It just made the burger even harder to eat since the meat was already so dry and tough. I might go back to try the chicken strips however.

I have been coming here at least once or twice a week for about three months to eat lunch. I really enjoy this place. The food is good, the prices are good and the staff is always friendly. I like the variety on the menu. I have eaten various burgers, the pulled pork sandwich and the finger steaks. All are very good. Thanks to Burger Stache for always treating me well.

I ordered a banana milkshake tonight but it wasn’t very good… I also had a hamburger but it was just«mediocre», I usually expect higher quality meat from a BURGER place…

Never been to this place and I thought I would check out the finger steaks. There were lots of them but not really finger steaks in my opinion. They were finger nuggets. The batter on the steaks was dry and burnt in some places. The meat was somewhat juicy even though the outside was crispy and not tender at all. I won’t be back.

Food was great and so was the service. I had the finger steaks which were some of the best I’ve had in a while. They were obviously hand-breaded and had good flavor. My wife had the mushroom swiss burger and my daughter had a grilled cheese. They report that both were cheesy and delicious. Best part is that the place is locally owned and close to my house.

I had high hopes for this burger place since I have been looking for a great burger since I moved to town. Sadly, I will have to keep looking. While the fact that they offer relatively unusual flavor options(I had a spicy Baja style burger) is awesome, they are really just another fast food place. My burger was a disturbing grey color that I preferred not to look at, and the bun was totally soggy. I only ate part of it and felt like I needed to hibernate for the winter. The employees are super nice though which is great, but not great enough to get me to go back. I suppose if what you are looking for is a huge burger… and that’s your only requirement, then this is the place for you. But if you’re looking for a really good burger, you might want to keep looking.

So Zimm’s has been here for awhile now so I thought it was time to go check them out. My reviews were mixed. I discovered that they had an Online Ordering option for pick up so I used that, Their ordering system is very well done, easy to use, easy to understand. I will agree with every other used on here that with a Name like Zimm’s Burger Stache. I will be honest I expected a more unique menu. The restaurant was clean and the staff was all young but all friendly. On to the food. My family got 3 meals, A bacon cheeseburger, a Mushroom Swiss Burger and Finger Steaks. First thing the lady at the counter told me is that at first they were using fresh patties but they weren’t selling well so they switched to frozen patties and just recently switched back to fresh. In my opinion fresh is almost always better but their patties must be very lean because my burger was not at all juicy like I was expecting. Unfortunately it ended up being a bit dry and lacking in flavor. If they just upped the fat content a bit and seasoned their meat a bit they would be good. Aside from that, they have a good burger, the toppings are good, the bun was good, the bacon was good, all the supporting characters were good but the star of the show(the burger) was sorely lacking. Side note. Tried the Finger steaks as well. They have a good breading but just like the burger they really weren’t seasoned at all. Zimm’s is so close to being good they just fall really short on a few(very important) areas.

Impressed! I pulled in at 9pm. They served me with a big smile even though they could shut the lights off. When I got my fries they where hot, fresh and yummy my burger«the Zimm» so good! Reminds of my favorite burger back home! I’ll be back!

Dropped by yesterday to check it out. Usually when I pass by the restaurant is empty, so I was surprised to see the dinning room at capacity on a Sunday. The restaurant is clean, employees were nicely dressed, and there was a team effort to the work that was being done. The menu is nothing special. I ordered the Baja burger. The green chile was nicely roasted and the burger and pepper jack melted together. My complaint would the salsa was not spicy enough and was a little too watery. This is bad thing for a burger. Perhaps instead of the homemade salsa. Spice up the mayo maybe. The fries were golden, hot, with the right amount of salt. I would go back, but be looking for something that I can’t get anywhere else. That’s what this place needs. Uniqueness with the name should translate to uniqueness with the items that they serve.

The menu itself is pretty boring for having such a unique name. They need to create more unique items to make it especially for the prices they want to charge. 99 cents is a lot to add mushrooms to your 2.99 burger. The gems were good but since it’s a PAC drive thru it’s expected which we liked. The shake was good and the buns on the burgers were good. The service was also good. I just hope they step it up and create some burgers and items that sets them apart.

I have been a long time fan of Pac-Out, the one and only one in Boise off of Bogus Basin Rd. in Boise. They have excellent burgers, and I was thrilled that another«Pac-Out» was going in.. . especially since I moved away from the north end. I must say, the burgers and fries are almost identical which I love. The only complaint I have right now is the staff. THISISIMPORTANTAND I WANTTHEOWNERSTOKNOWTHISANDFIXIT. I have been there twice now and the staff lack the friendliness and excitement that some of the most successful businesses seem to have. I love the food but the lack of smiles and«bubbliness» makes it difficult for me to make it a regular place to go. I think if the owners can get people in there that are actually friendly, that I would go there and recommend it more often. Good food, just fix the customer service.

If you’re going to join an incredibly crowded market, you’d better bring something new. Unfortunately Zimm’s doesn’t bring anythng new to the table. I had the Zimm’s Burger. My biggest complaint was with the toppings. If you’re going to claim that you have ham and bacon on a burger, you really should put ham and bacon on a burger. What I got was two super thin, round, meat byproducts that had the slight taste of bacon and ham. I don’t think you could make them any thinner with a precision, high powered lazer. These guys must not have noticed that there’s at least 40 burger joints on Fairview Ave. Nobody is going to choose Zimm’s over McDonalds or Burger King or Jack in the Box if they don’t offer anything beyond micro-thin meat byproducts. We already have 30 or so fast food joints on Fairview serving the same uninspired, bland food. Step up your game Zimm’s or take your stache to Fruitland.
