Bad service this time around, the new glasses were blurry. Seems they made my prescription stronger and it should have stayed the same!
The sales people work on commission and nickle and dime you to death !
If I did not have insurance they would be way too expensive!

I came once again for my annual eye exam on and to get a new pair of glasses. I left a very happy customer. Their customer service is superb. The optometrist who took care of me was phenomenal! I’m going to see her next year for my eye exams, because she was wonderful. I cannot remember her at this time, but I believe she’s the supervisor optometrist? She was wonderful. The young man who took care of me, Zachary was very courteous.

I have had a lifelong fear of doctor visits in general, and eye care exams particularly! I don’t like being touched by strangers, being coldly «examined», and I always imagine that I will get the worst news regarding my health. Basically, the perfect storm for a panic attack. Sweating, shaking, heart palpitations.
I only forced myself to book an appointment, because it’s a new year, I just turned 30, and the reviews/​price/​location all seemed ideal… And I couldn’t be more pleased!
I was assisted by a technician named Zach (I think/​hope) and by Dr. Rena Ostbloom. Though my prescription had changed MUCH (wore the same glasses for 10+ years), both were able to calm my nerves, explain the situation, help me to understand what each step of the exam was achieving, AND guide me towards the proper frames to go with my new lenses!

I’ve already booked my next annual appointment with Dr. Rena Ostbloom! (And this is something I would never have done before in my life!)

Buyer beware. This place will rip you off. Advise… go to a local optometrist… they carry designer frames and can make your glasses quickly. This place charges for every single add-​on, anti-​reflective coatings, scratch coatings, lightweight lenses, blah, blah, blah… They are basically sales people not exactly the people who should be taking care of your vision. Optometrists care about your eyesight and aren’t that greedy. This Lenscrafter quotes you one price and then you find out you owe them twice as much as what they told you in the first place… the commercials of their competitors are true… get it on video and a recording… Stay away!!!
