I would like to second what others have mentioned regarding rudeness of the sales associates here. Aside from one particular check out clerk who is mildly handicapped but provides stellar service(& always with a smile), most of the other workers employed here are extremely unfriendly and certainly do not go out of their way to greet customers or make them feel welcome. To clarify, I shop here once a week, sometimes more often, to purchase fresh fruits & vegetables, deli items, bread & cider donuts, and whatever else I need or that happens to strike my fancy. The other morning, the nasty, middle aged deli clerk who waited on me treated me as an intrusion, rushing me through my order so she could get back to chatting with an older male clerk. I then stood for five minutes(I timed it, in case you think I’m exaggerating) after greeting the woman at Gerardo’s Bakery, who acknowledged my greeting with a grunt then proceeded on with whatever paperwork she was fiddling with, as she remained seated along a rear counter — with her back to me – the entire time I stood there waiting to purchase pastries. I finally walked away, shaking my head. As I continued to place items into my cart, I decided to buy a coffee; my order was taken by a woman who could not have been less friendly: no greeting, no smile, no thank you, and I instantly regretted spending my hard earned money. This woman is there most times when I’ve been there and she looks and acts absolutely miserable. Bolton Orchards management needs to stop taking their customers so much for granted. Do not assume you will continue to receive our business and our money without you applying a minimum of effort to respectable customer service. A simple friendly face in that sea of miserable, begrudgingly helpful, annoyed and pissed off employees would be like a ray of sunshine. A little goes a long way.

One of the few places I treasure. They make and sell cider & cider donuts year round — an absolute must for someone like myself who could live in an eternal Autumn. Their deli is great for when you need a quick lunch or just simply want a good sandwich. They are pretty faithful to keeping their weekly specials updated on their facebook page. When the weather warms up, they open up the ice-cream stand. Locally-made ice cream is carried in the freezer all year. Also a good place for quick, last-minute gift shopping! I’ve been known to drag my boyfriend in for random pick-me-ups, perusing the bakery display cases, grabbing a cupcake(or two) and random knick-knacks(they often have flowers/stuffed animals/baskets/seasonal/holiday stuff). Being that we live a state over, we come here more for leisure than necessity. But more often than not, we find that we are convenienced by the availability of fresh produce and basic grocery items. I love that they carry both popular and local brands. Bolton Orchards is such a gem!

I love going here for lunch! The deli has a great meat selection and fresh bread! The Multi Grain is the best! Very reasonably priced, and so many healthy options to grab to go with it! Couldn’t say enough about this place!

I ordered fifteen dozen apple cider donuts and cider last weekend for a fundraiser for a women’s shelter. The donuts were described as the best they’d ever had by both the volunteers and attendees. Thank you so much for helping a great cause make such a great impression! I also love the deli, café, Gerardo’s bakery in the back(great addition) and cheeses.

This past weekend while traveling through Bolton, we wanted to pick up some locally grown apples for a family member, so we decided to stop in at this store. This was the first time we have stopped in at Bolton Orchard but we have passed it a million times. Every time we pass by the parking lot is packed so we had a good idea that the experience would be great. What I can tell you is that we were not disappointed! This farm store has an incredible selection of locally grown apples which they had outside. They so have an indoor market that is open year-round and has an amazing selection of goods. On the way out we ended up buying some of their kettle corn which was incredible! I can hands down say it was the best kettle corn I’ve ever had. The staff here was also really polite and made time to have a conversation with us which was nice. Overall, great orchard and we hope to come back.

While staying with my cousin in Bolton, I must have come here twice a day, every day for their apple cider. I am totally obsessed and can’t wait for my next visit to Bolton and more trips to Bolton Orchards!

one of my favorite places ever. For the five years that I’ve been traveling down this road, I always stop on the way to the cape to bring my parents their favorite Bolton orchards treats. Not only are their apples fresh and tasty, but the homemade apple cider is amazing.(5 cents per cup in store) and only $ 2.99 for a quart that I always buy. The apple cider donuts which are also homemade are amazing especially when hot. If you are ever traveling past, it is worth a stop.

Pretty cool place but they only make their cider donuts on the weekends so if you drive out of your way during the week expecting to get some fresh hot donuts your poop out of luck until the weekend comes. There also Kind of simpy if you get a sandwich from the deli definitely not the overstuffed envelope of joy that you might expect from such a small run family business.

I like Bolton Orchards for their cider, premade foods, and produce. They have great soups and sandwiches, and yesterday I got a box of homemade potato chips(yum). Their produce is always great, and they often have things that most grocery stores don’t(like unusual fruits).

When I was a kid, we would always beg my mom to stop there just so we could have a cup of cider for a nickel. Guess what? You can still get a cup of cider for a nickel. It has grown a lot over the years from a pretty basic farm stand where you could also get a hot donut freshly made by the Lions Club on Sundays to a farm stand/gourmet food shop/sandwich place/Italian bakery. Their cider is like none you will find anywhere outside of Bolton.

Wow… SUPER unfriendly and rude associates. Just went in to grab some food and desserts for a pot luck lunch and the woman at Gerardo’s could not have been more of a fuss bucket had she tried. We ordered 12 mini desserts to go — with no one behind us — and she looked soooo damn annoyed behind the counter and then was sassy about our payment. Gerardo’s is usually nice food but we won’t be coming back for anything in the future — SOOO weird. Then as we paid for the(way overpriced) quiche the two ladies at the register were also super rude. Maybe something happened today — maybe Santa died — but there appeared to be no reason to be such obnoxious associates on this beautiful December morning. I’ve been going to Bolton Orchards my whole life and this is just the last straw. Management needs to inject some happiness and courtesy.

They have the BEST cider donuts that I have ever tried. I did not care for their cider which was surprising because I have never tasted a cider before that I did not like. There is a nice and clean market. I am looking forward to trying their deli sandwiches sometime soon.

Bolton Orchards is a small store that has their own apple cider. They freeze their apples so they have pressed cider all year. They carry may great organic and locally produced items so it’s great for picking up some groceries as well. Everyone in the store is very nice and helpful. They have a great deli, bakery, and coffee shop right inside. The ice cream is great and there is outdoor seating for anyone eating at Bolton Orchards.

I drive out of my way to come here. They have a deli that makes delicious, generously portioned sandwiches that are made to order. I can’t get enough of their potato salad! They have a wonderful range of fresh produce and bakery items. The deli also sells top quality meats and cheeses. The people that work here are extremely friendly and even though there is usually a long line at lunchtime for sandwiches, they are very efficient. They also sell basic grocery items and have a small frozen food section. They sell their own brand of jams, jellies, salsa, and BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauces are amazing.

This market is as good as it gets for a specialty store. We just happened to see their sign off the highway and decided to stop in because I wanted to go to an orchard for apple picking. Well there ain’t apple picking here but we did get an awesome made to order sandwich. They have all types of groceries, food to go, apple cider, ice cream, fresh hot cider donuts, a bakery, a coffee shop. This little store has it all and outside benches so you can get immediate satisfaction from all your food purchases. I loved it and then we went down the road to Bolton Springs for the apple picking. Stop in if your hungry, you won’t be disappointed.

Cute yet expensive. You can do a decent amount of grocery shopping here but it’s really better if you only need to grab a few things for a special dinner or picnic. There are some unique and local options which is nice. I love the seasonal stuff. When it’s Summer, I want to see it when I’m shopping, when it’s Fall, I want to smell it, etc. It’s a nice local place to grab some coffee, a doughnut, or ice cream.

I used to stop in frequently when my route took me this way home. I would pick up the makings for dinner or deli for next day’s lunch. Was back recently when I was in the neighborhood and saw that they’ve installed Gerardo’s Bakery in the back. I zoomed over and got a box of goodies. It’s a winner. Bolton Orchards is a nice little market and a very popular destination on the weekends. I don’t buy my apple cider here, so can’t speak to it. However I have found that the taste of the cider that my local orchard produces varies from year to year, and even from week to week.

Yum! We made a stop here on our way out of town because my mom had to bring some apples home. I wasn’t in the market for apples so I checked out the other parts of the store. We got some maple candies, maple fudge, pistachio fudge and an amazing mug of apple cider — seriously fabulous as all the rest of the mugs I’ve had since are just NOT cutting it. They also have a huge variety of apples and some cute gift-y items. I got a cute little old school looking mini-sign souvenir that was only like $ 4 or something. Another fun place to check out if you are in the area.

$.05 cup of cider from the tap! Heard about it from Edible Boston magazine and couldn’t wait to try it for myself. It was delicious and very refreshing on a humid day. Ended up buying a gallon to take home. I recommend going here for picnic items. Ordered a cranberry walnut chicken sandwich on a bulkie roll(perfect with just lettuce and tomatoes), do not order with extra mayo or you will ruin a wonderful sandwich. The potato salad was also very good-big chunks of red potatoes, bacon, and celery. Also tried a bite of the spicy turkey sandwich. good, but not as good as the cran-walnut chicken. Also went home with a jar of peach butter(had it with toast this morning. not as peachy as I thought it would be), apple butter, strawberry-rhubarb jam(has a hint of apple), and salsa. You can find a lot of Bolton Orchards packaged jams, jellies, etc. here.
