My favorite ice cream place EVER!!! They make their own waffle cones and their own hot fudge along with their homemade huge variety of ice cream. I’ve gotten their waffle cones when they were still hot and WOW… just nothing else like it. Honestly, i’m happy I don’t live in Bonita Springs because I wouldn’t be able to stay away!!! That said, every time I come down, this is most definitely a destination. Yum! Just as a heads up, in the busy season of Naples, this place can get PACKED. It’s well worth the wait though!

My first ever Unilocal review after many years of using. $ 45 bill for my family’s ice cream… what is sold as one scoop is really two so there is value in the quantity, but what if you really just want one scoop? Is there a way to get a kid sized scoop? Also, not one SINGLE bit of Heath bar in my entire two scoops of heath bar crunch in a sugar cone. Not one. it was vanilla ice cream with a couple crumbs of Heath bar at the top. My brother’s heath bar scoop was loaded so perhaps mine came from another tub which was not stirred properly? Very very disappointing. Also waited almost 25 minutes to order and be served due to the long line, so clearly the ice cream is loved by many. But really not worth it at all for us.

Awesome place. It was packed. Had the Cherry Vanilla ice cream and it was very good. The line moved quickly even with the crowd.

Screwed up the order and then argued about it and refused to admit the mistake so I got nothing. Not coming back

Home made ice cream, the best ever! Don’t let the long lines scare you away, it moves fast. My fave ice cream is peppermint stick with hot fudge and whipped cream. So good! If you want a simple sandwich for lunch, just like you would make at home, this is the place for you.

I’m glad I read some of the reviews on the staff trying to sneakily upsell. I ordered a one scoop cone which is $ 4 with a cup, cone or sugar cone. So when I said one scoop cone, instead of asking what type of cone, he immediately said«waffle cone?» and pointed to it. So I took the time to look to see what the $ 4 one scoop came with and noticed that the waffle cone was additional for $ 1.28 extra. So I told him a sugar cone. I had the bonita beach bum and it was actually good. On another positive note, you can try the various flavors before deciding. I give 4 stars for taste

This place is so good! I ordered the «Death By Peanut Butter» and it was delicious! I had a hard time choosing between«chocolate & peanut butter» and«death by peanut butter» . In fact my entire family all loved what they ordered! Can’t wait to come back :)

We came here after a beach trip and I had a scoop of yummy chocolate ice cream. The ice cream was good but I only had that one flavor. The prices are reasonable BUT tricky. Now I say tricky because they tried to charge me $ 6 when I ask for a scoop of ice cream with hot fudge. The cashier said that because I asked for a «wet topping» it will be the sundae price. I get the exact same thing everywhere and I have never heard of this rule. Without the hot fudge the single scoop was $ 4. My advice is that make sure you know what they are charging you for. There are a lot of seating inside and it is pretty clean.

Delicious, tastes homemade and fun establishment! I got the marble cake ice cream, my husband had the chocolate peanut butter and we both enjoyed the sugar cone. Old school cool!

This place was a revelation. Delicious ice cream, friendly staff and a clean, cool and fun place to sit. Kids under 12 recite the Pledge of Allegiance for a free ice cream, and kids 3 and under get free ice cream! Right now there’s also a 10% off coupon on Unilocal

Delicious ice cream with very friendly and attentive employees! There is plenty of seating for large groups. Even with a large line, the employees were very quick and we had our ice cream in no time!

I loved this place growing up, my grandparents would always take me and my brother to Royal Scoop when we’d visit. But lately, something’s different. The ice cream just doesn’t taste like it used to. Now-a-days I prefer another ice cream shop down the street called For Heaven Shakes.

Love this old school ice cream shop. Death by peanut butter is my flavor of the moment but I reserve the right to change at any time. Isn’t that a girl’s prerogative? They’re all good plus where else can you go sit in a plastic cow to get your fix? We are on the way now…3 min and I’ll be in heaven enjoying my death!

If you are so unbelievably bored that you have decided to read my other reviews, you’ll know I like my ice cream. Murdick’s in Northern Michigan, Charlie’s in Saugatuck, Michigan, and Royal Scoop right here are three of my go-to places. Royal has a good, changing variety and a great staff. It can get very busy in season, but it’s worth the wait. Do it.

Well it has really good ice cream, if you don’t mind the long wait… I go late when the crowd has moved out… the staff always seem disorganized, no strong management present. But it’s clean friendly lots of families with children… Large selection of ice cream, hand made milkshakes and floats, they serve a limited lunch menu…

Classic mom-n-pop ice cream shoppe, delicious flavors and tons of choices. Fairly priced. You can’t go wrong!

Delicious! This is ice cream the way it should be. I’m not sure why it got the mixed reviews. Kind of pricey, I agree, but I am for quality not quantity. I had the black cherry and it was terrific. Great little candy store, as well, if you are into that sort of thing. You know, wrapped, what we used to call penny candy.

This review is about 2 years old but I never finished it… Be prepared to get over served to compensate for your long wait! That’s the best kind of over-serving and you won’t even be kicked out for it! Any flavor is fantastic– I tend to gravitate for the chunky peanut butter/chocolate because it’s too legit to quit — sitting in my stomach making me regret my decision. No, no, never! Also, shame shame on comparing brick and mortar ice cream stores to store-bought at Publix. It’s all about the experience… c’mon… you know better than that!

Every trip I make to visit my parents in Bonita Springs, a trip to the Royal Scoop happens! There are so many delicious flavors. I like the death by peanut butter and mint chocolate chip. Can taste test flavors before picking one but I have never been disappointed by a flavor. The staff are friendly, helpful and quick on orders. This place is always busy. My dad purchased one of their t-shirts. Having the t shirt at the time of purchase gives you 10% off. Definitely will be going back a few more times on this trip in Florida!

You can never really go wrong with ice cream. This place reminds me of an old school soda /ice cream shop from childhood. Really cute place to come with family. Lots of variety and good flavors.
