Walked here from my hotel for lunch to split up a day on the beach. Great menu(Asian wrap and fries were great), full bar with good specials, and a coffee/ice cream counter as well. They also sell a few things you might need for a beach day(frisbee, goggles, boogie board, etc) and cute Beach Box tshirt/tanks. This is a great place at a great location and prices are very reasonable especially considering it’s a block from the beach.

Good yogurt but Pricey! Wow they weigh your ice cream! No cones only cups. $ 8.00 for an eight ounce cup of ice cream! I’m I in Naples Italy? So pricey!

I’m here on vacation and found it on Unilocal.Stopped in for breakfast and a drink. Had the gulf shore breakfast sandwich and added bacon. Service here was great. Rachael and Autumn were awesome. Talking with them about other spots to visit while here on vacation. This is the Perfect place to grab a bite and a drink. Before hitting the sand.

As a Naples native, I was very excited to try the beach box café. Me and my sister went for Sunset around 8 o’clock on a Sunday afternoon. The whole setup is kind of weird where you have to order your food one place and then your drinks at another place. But whatever we figured it out and we decided to cut a pineapple chicken sandwich and some fries. We purchased that at 7:40 p.m. we then proceeded to the bar where we waited for probably a good five minutes where we were noticed by both bartenders but then ignored so that the girl bartender could go talk to some male patrons on the other side of the bar with full beverages. So after becoming extremely thirsty we decided to go back to the regular food line to go get a lemonade. It has already been 15 to 20 minutes since we have ordered our chicken sandwich we asked for it to be To go because we didn’t want to miss the sunset. We finally received our sandwich 25 minutes later. It said it came with a pineapple ring on it, it was one chunk of pineapple. The chicken was fine, but a very small portion. Not worth $ 15 and 25 minutes of waiting and being ignored. I will sadly not be returning here, this place has a lot of potential but the execution was terrible.

Very disappointed… Place was dirty. Was so surprised to see the male bartender last night walk out of the men’s restroom with a girl. Would never go back.

Really cool place and prime location but drinks are crazy expensive. It was $ 40 after tip for 2 Mai Tais and a myers floater. Then 2 beers were 16 after tip.

I’ve been in here precisely 4 times. They have the benefit of good real estate and being 1 of only a few choices on the beach. Food is pretty decent. If you want a drink. Go elsewhere. When it’s not busy, the bartender is missing for extended periods of time. When it is busy, the 1 person behind the bar is occupied making frozen cocktails for the retired population on vacation. Not a fan and I haven’t heard great things from people around the beach about the ownership. Staff I’ve met is nice. I’d like to speak to the bartender maybe once, so I could actually get a drink here.

Welcome to my halo or horns reviews of Naples food places. I am no longer going to kiss ass for people because lets face it people it’s hard to find good places to eat around here. That being said The Beach Box Café is hit n miss. It depends on who is behind the counter making the food and how much sleep they got the night before. I tend to go with the standard chicken fingers which are decent bar food. The pizza is «Meh» along with the dips and what not. Don’t expect this place to be like a restaurant style because it’s not like that. It’s a place to grab a bite to eat and a beer before heading to the beach. They do have a cool soft serve station for the kids with a good amount of toppings. The breakfast is good for the morning. Just don’t have high expectations for this place because it’s not run like that. It has more of a relaxed feel for it. The Bartenders are very cool and the staff is friendly for the amount of volume they get. So ya overall it’s not a bad place to go and get some quick grub that won’t break your wallet and to buy some beer to bring to the beach.

Awesome! Not a lot of casual places by the beach in Naples. If you want a quick bite it a drink by the beach this is the place. We were there around noon and it looked like they had live music later in the day. We will be back

I lived in Naples for years, and I always craved having a cocktail bar and lunch spot for my favorite beach on Vanderbilt. Finally after flying in for a visit with fam, I now see that my dream came true! So glad for the current residents, but bummed it was never there when I lived in Naples, darn it! Ha! I was so thrilled to see this beach bar and restaurant walking distance from our beach chairs and parking garage! The Beach Box has amazing food! It’s really surprisingly fresh and healthy! We all ordered salads, quesadillas, and wraps! I highly recommend the cobb salad and you have to try their piña coladas! P. s. Make sure you pick up after yourself! Don’t leave your trash on the beach, and note to self, you can’t take the alcohol from the bar past the signs in the parking lot at the picnic tables, but if you sneak them like me, just clean up after yourself! Have fun!

I like this place! Great little spot to take a break from the sun, sip on a cold beer and chow down on good grub without breaking the bank. I’ve been coming to Vanderbilt beach since I was little, and my family typically goes to Gumbo Limbo for lunch or dinner, but I decided to give this place a try on my most recent trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and food, but the experience was definitely not perfect. Our party of 2 ordered the Mediterranean salad, piña colada chicken sandwich, and 2 Sweetwater 420 beers. The salad and sandwich were both very tasty, but took forever to come out of the kitchen. We waited so long that I eventually decided to go up to the order counter and check on the status of the food. The girl at the front seemed offended that I would ask, but then turned around and found our order sitting on service table. Who knows how long it was there for. I will probably give this place another shot next time I am on vacation. You can’t beat the prices and convenience to the beach!

Great little spot. Can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner as its near my house. I will definitely be a regular now. The atmosphere was fun, the food was great, and they have great drink specials. The outdoor seating area is perfect. I will definitely be back.

Just tried this place for the first time. Place is cute and busy but the take out food is horrible! We ordered the Mediterranean Naan wrap and the chicken was so fake tasting and rubbery that we picked it all off and basically had a small salad on a piece of cold, stale pita. Also got the chicken fingers and fries — both of which were totally overlooked. The chicken fingers have more breading than chicken. My kids wouldn’t even eat them. Won’t ever go back!

Great location so great after a beach walk. Went here for breakfast and had a very good croissant sandwich with egg and bacon. Coffee was strong but made by some machine, and wondered how in Florida a place doesn’t have OJ for bfast!!! Clearly this is a bar and bfast is only an after thought. Hats off to the cook for quick delicious egg sandwich made in the grill from real eggs and good bacon. Hats off to the person who took my order and brought out my food and helped me mop up some coffee spilled by me and my wobbly table. I was joined by 2 other patrons at other tables so it wasn’t crowded.

Perfect place at a great location. Prices are fair, food has quality ingredients. Naples needs more places like this close to the beach.

We just came from«Beach Box». Hot, hot, no A/C. Hot beer, too. «Shrimp Ceviche» is watery pico de gallo with a very few tiny, near-microscopic shrimp. Refused to honor the Unilocal«check-in coupon». Not recommended ! Rick

Cute little hang out to grab a snack, some ice cream, dinner or even a cocktail. Staff was great and the place was spotless. My iced coffee tasted perfect and only cost $ 2! Is that even possible on this beautiful touristy beach? Bring your friends cuz this place is just what Naples needs.

I was staying at the La Playa because my BF had a sales conference and I wanted to soak up some sun. I was on my own for all my meals so I ventured out a bit. I stumbled upon Beach Box first for lunch, because I couldn’t wrap my head around a $ 15 grilled cheese at my resort. I grabbed a wrap and had an amazing Cucumber Mojito while I waited. I was so impressed I went back for Dinner the next day. I ordered a naan buffalo chicken pizza… It was sinfully delicious, tons of chicken cheese and most importantly hot sauce. The joint has happy hour during the week which was refreshing given cocktails at the resort were $ 15-$ 17. I waited for my pizza and enjoyed a few cocktails. There was an acoustic guitar player with a dog at his feet giving the place that necessary character, and I also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner who was super friendly and seem extremely passionate about his new venture(they have only been open a month). I would absolutely frequent this place if I was a local and it appears the locals do. Finally these guys have a liquor permit for a bar on the premises but they also have a carry permit which allows them to sell booze by the nip, or bottle. They’ve totally figured out the system and I applaud them for that.
