A great location for a small casual restaurant off the public beach. Grouper sandwich is outstanding and the beers are ice cold! Can go there in your swim suit not the typical formal restaurant in Naples. Owner also works in the restaurant which is always a good sign. Would recommend for a casual night with great food!

Great food and service. Will come back if I find myself in this part of the world again. Reese’s pie was amazing.

My wife and I both had the Fish Reuben sandwich and we shared a basket of fries. Although we both enjoyed the sandwiches, I thought it was very good, and she would only say it was good. There wasn’t anything wrong with either sandwich, it’s a matter of personal taste. There were enough fries in that basket for three or four people, unless you’re more of a fry eater than we are.

I have lived in Naples my whole life and this was our first visit. It is a nice, casual atmosphere with a water view.

Three lunches, one glass wine, two iced teas and bill was almost $ 80. That’s affordable? This aside from the fact that the only edible thing was the cole slaw. My few paltry scallops on the scallop plate had not seen their native habitat in many a year, but had clearly been frozen and re-frozen in their batter breading probably since Reagan was president. Coconut Shrimp was passable restaurant service food and the fish sandwich was execrable, another victim of the deep, deep freeze. It is sad that a spot that overlooks the water and bills itself as seafood centered should stoop so low. I can only imagine what the rooms of the attached motel look like.

We got exactly what we were looking for: affordable food waterside, cold beer, character, good service, seafood, across the street from the beach and a great view. Nothing pretentious here, very nice people, quick service. We will come back!

Interesting idea but sad that the shrimp and fish we had were frozen. This place is right on the water and prices are pretty steep for the frozen food they serve, it would be different if the food were fresh. My hubby did like his chocolate cake. The butterfly shrimp comes with four(yes, just 4) shrimp and two sides for $ 16.99. I could go to a lot of other local seafood places that serve fresh(yes, fresh) seafood and get more than 4 shrimp for that price. This place needs an upgrade badly! Time for you to visit your competition!

Well, I will not be writing a second review for The Lighthouse Restaurant. I am not a fan. There are so many seafood restaurants out there that try real hard, this place does not appear to be a part of that competition. On the plus side the view was awesome and the raspberry tea was OK.

I’d been told of this place’s epic Grouper Rueben and was not disappointed. I actually went twice even though I was only in Florida for less than 5 days. Get the Grouper Reuben blackened, not fried. Nice views of the water too. What’s not to love?

I live around the corner. 3 times I have given this place a chance. It has a Great view and would be super fun to go to after the beach or for waterside meal. BUT. SOSAD that the food is below average and the wine selection is garbage and the beer choices are old school. I even asked if the French fries were fried with the fish and the answer is yes. Who does that anymore? Yuk! They tasted like fish! For goodness sakes owners… you are sitting on a potential gold mine… at least bring it up to a mark west or hahn… add some hard ciders and seasonal beers… and play some fun music. I will try uou again in 3 months. Every other decent restaurant in the neighborhood is packed while you sit half empty. Go visit your competition.

View is great, people are friendly, and food looks good. We didn’t order food, only cocktails. I was disappointed because drinks are made with sabe, which is a vodka infused sake. So my margarita wasn’t made with tequila, and it tasted like straight juice. Little deflated, because this place came highly recommended.

Went here recently in the evening while on vacation. Had the fried grouper dinner with cole slaw, a roasted tomato, and fries. Wife had the«Buzz’s Famous Fish Sandwich» grilled which comes with chips and pickle. The food was just OK. A roasted tomato is very rare to find at a restaurant, but this was nothing special — just a hot tomato with little to no seasoning with a piece of melted American cheese on the top. Grilled fish sandwich was good, but certainly not«Famous» by any stretch. Paid $ 3 extra for the cole slaw which was listed in the menu as «Buzz’s secret recipe.» Got a very small cup and it tasted very plain — perhaps it should have stayed a secret? Finally the grouper was good, but the piece was small and the breading was thick and fell off because it was not prepared properly in the kitchen. What is really positive about this place is the view and the outside dining, but not sure it is worth the average to below average food. Also the waiter was absolutely fantastic, had a great attitude and really did a good job.

Great little beach joint with standard beach menu. Indoor and outdoor searing but only about 10 tables inside and 12 out. Nothing classy, simple but good. Grouper is always good and the view is nice, on the bay.

A long time local favorite for the waterfront locale, but no longer a recommendation for dinner. Enjoy a light lunch or small snack on the water, but save dinner dollars for any of the numerous establishments in the area that serve tasty seafood. $ 17 for tasteless frozen fried scallops, K-rab, probably, is too pricy to offset the view. And my dinner companion who ordered the $ 19 seafood combo felt the cole slaw was the best part of the meal.

Old school joint, away from the crazy that is downtown Naples. A great place to have a decent dinner, on the water, in a more quiet, laid back environment. We arrived on a Saturday night around 7pm. we had a bit of a wait, but enjoyed a drink at the bar. we sat outside, which was really nice. Blackened fish sandwich and fries were very good. I would for sure come back! Tip-parking lot is teeny tiny. If you don’t mind a litlte walk, we parked on the street just around the corner.
