McDonald’s

Came here as there wad a hankering for Sausage Egg McMuffin. Drive through was slow, english skills were subpar and prices were elevated. Likely last time I will go to this location.

Wth it’s 1051 and I tried to get a mcwrap and he says not till 11 wow, great custo. customer service. that’s sucks 9 mins it used to be after 1030am lunch served. well apparently I just got served not. You suck… by the time I reach window it’d be 11. ridiculous…dude u coulda took order.

I used to think this mcdonalds was Better than others around San Diego, but my last two visits and proved me wrong. Just because it’s in a good area doesn’t mean it’s good. Service the last two times was terrible. Trainees at the register with no one supervising them so my order got jacked up after having to correct the person several time. The last time I went they forgot about my order and then didn’t get it right. They were in a huge rush. And when there was a long line I saw a bunch if employees just standing around chatting. The only good part is that the place is clean

Always long lines although they move fairly quick they always tend to mess up something on my Order about 70% of the time!!!

Well I mean it’s McDonald’s. Appears to be clean, is not open 24 hours, but overall it is fine if you’re in a pinch and need something on the run.

WORST McDonalds ever! Would give negative stars if I could.
1. They charge extra for the healthier kid options: milk and juice. Which no other McDonald, that I have been to, does.
2. They are more expensive! I bought the same exact order at another location just a few miles away and the difference was $ 8 more, and it’s not «tax» as they claim.
3. They FORGOT my food even! If I had not checked my order at the drive through I would have driven off without even getting my food.
4. They are super RUDE! Everyone I talked to were super abrasive, snippy, and had a terrible attitude. When I even told them that they forgot my food and asked for it, they scoffed and almost threw it at me, no apology at all!
DO NOT GO HERE!

I’ve been to this Mcdonalds many times as it is near my house. When you go in the drive thru 9 out of 10 times they got your order wrong, or they don’t put something in your bag. Ask for BBQ and it’s it lost cause, they will give you ranch, or nothing at all. Also if you go on in the drive thru they always make you park, and if its a large order you will for sure have to park… And they do take there time. I went in the drive thru the other day and the girl told me they didn’t have enough of the chocolate chip cookies so the rest would have to be a different type… I told her oatmeal is fine for the remainder… And she shorted me some cookies instead. It’s not that I care about the 2 cookies, it’s that it happens all the time. They charge people for these things and don’t give it to them. Do they not know how to count? This could be just a drive thru problem as I have also been inside and about 7 out of ten times they get it right so it’s a litte better. The people inside who work the registers are rude… I have to start looking at name tags because not all of them are rude. If you want some fast food, and want your order to be correct this is not the place.

Every single time I go through the drive through there is a car in front of me that holds up the entire line for like 10 minutes. Why don’t you guys have that person pull to the front and bring their food out to them when it’s ready? Why do you let that one car hold up the entire line! It’s so annoying! Happens to me every single time at this location!

This is the BEST McDonald’s in South San Diego for me. Super friendly staff that speak and greets in English to each other and customers all the time (no spanish). Plus, they give you extra, when you ask, w/​out charge.

One of my fav McDonalds in San Diego !!! ALL the food was SUPER fresh (which was surprising) very nice people who actually weren’t bothered by the fact that we asked for ketchup or any other condiments !
This is seriously probably the only McDonald’s worth going to in San Diego !!!

This mc’ds is super slow! They have no sense of urgency when they take orders. I’ve been here 6 times and always the same story. Food taste like it should, it’s just slow workers. I’m walking out. Grrrrrr

Very slow drive through, 620 pm. Very friendly staff, always clean, food is standard mcd’s…maybe they were short staffed but we go here a lot and really seems like it has been trending to slowville for last several months! Hope they kick it into gear — this is really a management issue…

2 stars as I was a bit disappointed as they charged extra $. 30 for Mac Sauce on my Mc double and barely put any on there…

The service inside is always good. Service is quick, transactions are easy. The drive through is another story though. Today I bought a few fish filets, two apple pie, and an iced coffee. There was a bit of a line going so they had some female employee with some headset gear taking orders to help speed it up. She gets the first two cars easy then when it comes to me she suddenly stops. I don’t know what the deal is but she acts like she can no longer walk 2 whole feet to take my order. When I roll my window down to see what’s up the line starts to shift upward. She immediately tells me something in Spanish. I look at her confused and she catches hold I am not Hispanic. She then tells me in English to go tell my order to the speaker box which I still cannot reach at this point due to the traffic. She proceeds to SKIP me and go to the next car behind me. The best part is she starts chatting up the person in that car and they have a hoot laughing. Meanwhile I am now grumpy I’m sitting in a car line with no order taken. The employee working the speaker asks for my order but my car still cannot reach the darn box. I have to yell out I can’t reach the speaker yet so she holds off for another minute. Finally the line moves and I can speak out my order. As the confirmation order on the screen shows up the iced coffee was already confused for a medium coffee (hot). I have to correct them on it. Minus 2 points now for the rude employee outside taking orders and now this. After a few more minutes I finally reach the pay window. That employee asks if I ordered two iced teas? Uhhhh… WTH is the point of all that I went through, a confirmation screen to boot and they still can’t remember an order I put in literally 2 minutes ago? I once again correct them to my order. I get my food at the last window and its correct. All this being said I am now going inside to just get my food because apparently its too difficult for employees here to understand how to work the drive thru correctly without getting three or four things wrong.

Their frappes are better than Starbucks.

Not only did I feel guilty after eating here (for both moral and nutritional reasons), I quite literally felt ill.
The only positive being that they give you your «food» quickly rather than double your suffering by taking precious time from your life, which their products themselves have undoubtedly succeeded in doing already.

Conveniently located on Bonita Road on my way to SWC.
There’s a drive thru and there’s always a girl outside taking your order when the line is more than just a few cars.

It’s a great place to poop. The food’s fresh made. no play place with screaming kids; just kvetching old schlubs that have nothing to do between shabbats.

Hahaha… I haven’t been to this McDonalds in literally, 10 years, but it popped up here and it reminded me of the days when they had 29-​cent hamburgers, 39-​cent cheeseburgers, and BUCKETS OF FRIES. Please tell me somebody else remembers that.
We would drive down to McD’s after school to gorge ourselves…
No wonder America is fat.
But OMG, a bucket of fries… amazing…

Hmm… drive to Mcdonalds 4 miles away that give fast service and much better quality food or go down the street and pray that my order is right…
Ok easy choice. It’s kinda sad we have to drive further out to get our sweet tea and more fresh hamburgers. Oh well it’s worth the drive. Besides we are closer to plaza bonita and gives us a chance to drop in there too.
Fries are always delish … just add more salt ;)
