I was really craving boba one day so I ended up coming here and to my surprise… they RANOUT of boba!!! How does a boba place run out of boba? I was so surprised by this. The workers there were nice but man, was I disappointed :(I probably won’t come here again. The peach green tea with star shaped mango jelly was good though.

Really slooooooooooooooooow service. Took a good 15 minutes just to prepare some chicken snacks. There was no line.

I picked up a Earl Grey Milk Tea without added sugar nor boba, but simply on the rocks for around $ 3, which was a pretty good price. The milk tea was okay. For what I have experience at other places with this kind of milk tea, this one was a little on the sweet side for my taste and it had a thicker viscosity than I like. I literally let it sit in the ice for about 20 minutes to tone down the sweetness and thickness. Also, the flavor of the Earl Grey was to subtle and needed to be more aggressive. I could hardly tell the tea was there. The gents running the business were nice and informative regarding their product when I posed questions.

First time here today. I usually go to the one on Plaza Blvd, but I was in the area and was craving some crispy chicken. I ordered a milk tea and a crispy chicken snack(extra spicy). The milk tea was okay, nothing spectacular, just your typical tap ex milk tea. The chicken was YUMMY, crispy, and fresh! Waited a bit, but I never mind waiting if the food is fresh. I loved that the chicken actually had a kick to it, something plaza blvd never got right. Extra spicy at that location usually means extra salty, but it was super good here. not Convoy good, but still super good(lets be honest, nothing compares to the convoy location lol). Workers were friendly. I would definitely be back!

Pros: Nice clean place located in a strip mall, lots of parking. We frequent the location off Convoy, so when we saw the a Bonita location while visiting a friend, we decided to get our usual crispy chicken combo. Cons: –Crispy chicken is not like the one of Convoy. At first bite, it tastes like it, but then we realized that the chicken was different. There was a lot of fat on it and it’s like they only used the cheap parts of the chicken. The chicken is not crispy either. I felt that the consistency didn’t match from start to finish. It was 5% crispy at first then when you dug into it more it was like 95% soft chewy chicken. I got turned off towards the end of my meal that I had to spit it out. –We tried a new item called Chi Chi fries. It’s the same crispy chicken I talked about above, with chipotle sauce and cheese. I’ll never get this again for the same reason as above. Props to them for trying something different, but my wife only took 2 bites, she says the chipotle sauce had a sour taste to it. –If you normally get the combo at the Convoy location, you know that it comes with a celery salad, a cabbage salad and an egg cooked over hard. This location serves a green bean/corn/carrot medley and a hardboiled BROWN egg(not sure what animal it came from). The rice was also different, tasted like your typical sticky Filipino rice. And yes, I am Filipino, so I know what I’m talking about. –Lastly, we came in at 11:15, we were the only ones there, and it took 20 minutes to get our food! With all that being said, I don’t know if this place is franchised, but we had high hopes of devouring some of our favorite food, only to be disappointed by the low quality of the food. The drinks seem to be your standard boba type drinks, don’t think they can mess that up, but steer clear of the food.

I love this TapEx! They’re fast and always get my orders correct. I come at least once a week. The workers are so cool and friendly too! :D

I like the location of this Tapioca Express because it’s in the same strip with Von’s and many other stores, so it’s like one stop shopping for me. Parking lot is huge & spacious, so parking should never be an issue. Their price is really decent– one size for the hot drinks(larger size) but they charge the same with the regular size. The store usually isn’t too busy, but even when it gets busy, employees move really fast and you’ll get your orders in timely manner. Nevertheless, I would say that the taste of their milk tea isn’t up to my preference. It’s definitely a good option when I’m craving for milk tea and I happen to be in need of stopping by Von’s, but other than that, I’d rather go somewhere else.

We came to Tapioca because Jamba juice was a little father from home. We should have just gone to Jamba Juice, it’s 11:02, the sign says«Opens at 11:00 Fall/Winter hours» and the door is still locked.

The afternoon shift on Tuesdays suck. They fill the cup with more ice than the actual drink I literally finished it as I got into my car because it was just a whole bunch of ice and barely any milk tea!!!

Love this place. Drinks are really good and the people are friendly. Sometimes service is slow, but it’s well worth it. Its in a good area and close to home. They also have a loyalty card which comes in handy when you visit often. Buy 10 get one free. :)

I accidentally found this place after dropping off a FedEx package. I loved the customer service and the quickness of it. The price is pretty inexpensive and they have a big selection of drinks and some other snacks like French fries, crispy chicken, friend pot stickers and fried crispy calamari rings. They also have coffee including Vietnamese coffee.

I don’t know what time this place really opens or closes. There are times I come 20 minutes before closing and it’s already closed. Then I stop by today when it’s supposed to be open at 11am and it’s already 11:10 and it’s still closed. Two stars because each time they mess up my boba order I get to keep the messed up boba order plus the correct boba order. Happens quiet often, It’s almost like getting a free boba drink. Oh wait, it is!!!

PARKING: huge free lot in front. Shares the lot with Vons and the other adjacent stores. PRICE: Milk Tea prices start at $ 2.98, additional $ 0.45 gets you boba. Appetizer-type foods are $ 3.98 PRODUCT: good flavor, and they add A LOT of boba if you decide to add it. Flavors include oolong-green tea, almond, honey dew, etc. They also offer fried tofu, calamari, and french fries for a reasonable $ 3.98, but I can’t review them because I just ordered a drink. ATMOSPHERE: casusal, chill. There are only 3 or 4 tables inside, but there’s more outside that are shared with the other establishments. Music not too loud. I think most people(including myself) took their drinks to go. If you stay, there are chalk boards on the wall you can write/draw on while waiting for your order. SERVICE: quick and accurate. No chit-chat or smiles. I think they were more concerned with efficiency, but I was a «to-go» order so I had no problem with that. I’d come back again if i was in the neighborhood. Enioy a tasty, cool drink after grocery shopping at Vons.

This place is small but you can enjoy some milk tea with boba. There are only four tables but there are some outdoor seating. Though there are occasionally smoker or vapers.

I was hesitant to try this location because of all the bad reviews. I frequent the Eastlake location a lot even though this one is closer to me. But I was at the place next door and decided to give it a try. The customer service was good and they made my drink super fast. By the time I finished signing the receipt, it was ready. I ordered the jasmine milk tea with boba. It’s one of my usual drinks where and whenever I get boba. But this was the first time it has been super strong and bitter. The boba was pretty flavorless as well. Overall my experience was fine but I gotta give 2 stars due to taste. And I’m not hard to please at all. They were friendly and all but I was only there for less than five minutes. It was just me and another person who was waiting on food. Maybe I’ll try it again if I’m in the area and don’t want to drive farther.

Came back to Tapioca Express again tonight and had great service once again. It was at the end of the day and the store was spotless. This is my 5th visit to the store and I haven’t been disappointed yet!

Ordered a taro snow bubble with light boba, mango snow bubble with light mango jelly and spicy rice combo plate. Guess when they heard light, they thought extra! And I didn’t like that. Nobody else was in there too. Really bad listening/customer service skills. Their boba flavors are inconsistent every time. Sometimes it’s amazing other times too powdery.

Daughter and I ordered green apple snow bubble and Thai tea snow bubble, respectively. We liked it. Better than the boba place by our home in the SF Bay Area. We noticed they also have a cabinet of games for customers to play. We didn’t play, but thought it was cool.

I stopped by here to grab some boba since it’s closer than the one that I used to go to in Convoy, but you can definitely see the difference from the two stores. I usually order an almond milk tea large with boba and sometimes get the crispy chicken snack. It’s kinda of hit or miss when it comes to who’s making the almond milk tea. Some days it’s good and others it’s ehh. The crispy chicken here tastes a little different than the one I’m used to. The place is pretty small so there are only a few tables and chairs to eat inside. The food and drinks are ok. If I’m too lazy to drive to the other locations, this place is ok to stop by and grab a snack and drink.
