Great restaurant, awesome craft beer selection. Awesome menu and smoked meats. My wife had the brisket sandwich i had the wings — some of the best ive ever had. Smoked just right, crispy on outside moist in.
Waitress was great. And even offered to bring me out a bunch of small glasess of local crafts to try before i ordered. Also seems family friendly.

Friendly staff. Super knowledgable about how each selection is prepared. I had appetizers to sample the greatest fair. Loved the trout wings, oysters, and wings. Honey Sriracha was incredible. Great smoked flavor with spicy sweet sauce. Goes great with the local Granite Falls knotty gurl blonde.

Excellent food. Awesome beer selection. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Chef came to the table and server provided a complementary dessert. We brought our 1 year old who was treated wonderfully. We will definitely be back for dinner.

Just finished a late lunch at trout and barrel. Wings were huge and super yummy. Best fries I’ve ever had! My kids had chicken tenders that were fantastic too. My husband ordered a beer sampler and the bartender came out to help him pick some good local beers. Our server (bethany) was very nice and the service was fast. We loved this place and will be back soon! (Like for Sunday brunch in two days)

Loved the Trout & Barrel. Wide variety of NC craft. beers on draught & in bottle, yet Great Lakes, Bells, and Laguanitas Little Sumpin, Sumpin. Light beers available as well. Now for the trout, panfried with cornmeal hubby had. Awesome! I preferred it to the char-​grilled I had, but with two filets, I know what I’d rather order next time, .yet both choices were good. As for sides, collards definitely, Momma’s mac & cheese or black eyed peas salad, oh yeah! Great live music ! Enjoy !
