Turkey Burger 5 stars, Service NO Stars! The Turkey Burger was juicy and well seasoned… Something I have tried to accomplish at home for years, AND it was on the perfect bun! Ordered the onion rings to accompany it, which were good as well! Onion rings however need ketchup… Or bar-b-que sauce… If you can get you Server to stop at your table… Or ANY Server to stop for that matter! Avoid the aggrivation, and get your Turkey Burger to go!

This is not a bad place to grab a late-night bite to eat. Most of the food is pub fare, but they have some delicious appetizers and sides.

Service was slow, drinks were really bad. Had a Philly cheese steak, not too bad but nothing to go back.

The food is pretty decent here and the prices are rather reasonable given that this place is in a casino. I ordered the BBQ Burger with fries — very good! Staff was friendly, outgoing and very attentive!

The food is pretty decent here and the prices are rather reasonable given that this place is in a casino. I love the Buffalo chicken wrap and the onion rings are really good. They will pack it to go, which is nice when you want to go back to your room and veg in front of the TV. I always say I’m going to get a shake but I never have room.

We always eat breakfast here at least one morning when we come to the Horseshoe. We love the egg sandwich! It used to come with potatoes, but now be sure and order some on the side. The sandwich is so good and flavorful and very filling. The burgers look great but we always get the egg sandwich! So this review is pretty much based solely on the egg sandwich :) Service is usually friendly but also very slow. We have had service that was not very friendly before, it seems to be hit or miss.

This place is pretty decent. Worth stopping at if you’re in the Eldorado casino. Food prices are a little above average. Only thing that lowered my rating was the price of my Long Island; $ 12… I was pre-warned by my waiter though so I was expecting it at least. Speaking of the waiter, he was really cool and personable for the short time we were there. Would visit again

For being half bar half café, the bar was limited. Bartender not very personable, probably thinks that looking like a hooters girl will make her more tips vs customer service. Maybe so. Steak was average. Had taco salad another night, it was good, shell homemade was a little greasy n chewy, but went well with salad. Waitress was nice and attentive, she was filling in because others were cut. She met all expectations and requests for customized orders. Margaritas were tasty also. The cheese sticks for appetizer were really good, could just have eaten a double order of them!

Fries are extremely salty. Service is absolutely horrible, so sad because the burger was decent. Ordered a burger and fries and ended up with two orders of fries. When I went back they tried to give me a cold burger. No apology… a free soda… really!!!

The burgers were ok, they had flavor but they were not memorable. The service was slow even though it was not too busy when we went. Try it if you’re in the hotel and want food fast but I wouldn’t make an effort to come and try the place out.

After reading these reviews I was very hesitant to try it. But we’re from out of town & my gf said it’s her favorite burger in town. Sure enough she was right. The million dollar burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were amazing. Service was great as well. I’ll def come back next time I’m in town.

You’ve got to stop into this place if you ever get to the Horseshoe Casino in Shreveport! The burgers are not the cheapest in the world. They’ll run you about $ 8-$ 9 and that’s just the standard 8 oz. The rest are more expensive. However, the taste of these burgers are so savory and delectable that you’ll find they’re worth every penny spent. The place is also very good at broadcasting their drink deals. I had a nice Bacardi and Coke for only $ 3 the day I went! They also have delicious appetizers like their fried pickles! The only reason this place didn’t get the full five stars was the service. They were friendly enough but not the most organized. I never once received the fries I ordered until we were leaving and they gave them to me in a to-go box. They needed to do that considering the fries were still on my ticket. Other than that, the place was great! Check them out!

OK; I expected more. Had heard about the one in Tunica/Horseshoe and how good it was from folks who had been there, so wanted to try this one. Well, except for the VERY friendly service, I was VERYUNDERWHELMED at the food. Ordered hamburger(after suggestions from the server), the double patty burger. She asked me how I wanted it cooked, and to be honest… though maybe it technically was still medium rare(as it had some pink color to it), it was the driest, most tasteless hamburger meat I have had in a long, long time. I don’t recall if they advertised fresh hamburger or if they were frozen but these HAD to be frozen patties. Dry, tasteless… yuck. And sometimes, since this was a weekday, they are the only restaurant open in Harrahs’ after a certain time. They did have the basic condiments to supplement the burger but they did nothing to hide the lack of taste and dry texture. Now once again, I do want to express that the personnel and servers were very, very friendly. They almost made up for the experience but still… c’mon…you go to a burger joint for the food… not the service. And it was EXPENSIVE for what it was, too. If you are a total rewards card member, costs you twice the number of points to purchase… so bad choice to use your rewards points here. Thumbs down!

DONOTBUY A RESTAURANT.COMCOUPON. The restaurant no longer honors them. The waitress was really nice and said they would honor the coupon, but we ended up leaving after one look at the menu. Incredibly overpriced. Also was not fond of the way that it was open to the rest of the casino. Noisy and gross. How are you gonna charge $ 14 for a 12″ pizza and $ 1 for each topping? And then have sticky laminated place mats for menus? Nope.

I ate at the bar alone for lunch. There weren’t a lot of people in the restaurant while I was in there. The server(Angie I believe) was attentive and warm. I was hungry so I ordered both chicken fingers and the 8 oz burger. The chicken fingers were served unbelievably hot(a good thing in my book) with BBQ sauce instead of Ranch at my request. The menu description made them sound like something that was handmade on site. If that is the case it is a waste of effort as they taste exactly like you expect a chicken finger to taste with no special qualities beyond being pretty salty. The burger was pretty big as would be expected of a half pound burger. The bun was enormous, puffy and tasted freshly baked. Unfortunately, the patty was perfectly round as if cut off of a frozen log of beef. There was some alleged special sauce but it was overpowered by the salt level of the patty and the white cheddar. Looking back on it, nothing was so terrible about the food but there was also nothing worth repeating in terms of food. The kitchen staff were very noisy, seemingly rehearsing to be on Stomp with all the banging and crashing. A server knocked a coffee filter basket out of a coffee maker which crashed onto the floor and the coffee filter bag laid on the floor for a few minutes before being cleaned up. Overall the clatter of the kitchen was irritating and must be amazingly grating when the restaurant is actually busy. Like most things in the casino, value was not a strong suit. My meal(all items served ala carte) totally 23 dollars before tip.

Mac n cheese was the best I have ever had. Chicken strips and BBQ sauce were excellent. Spicy nachos were very good too. Service was great. Water didn’t taste bad.

I ate here at 11am on my 40th birthday. Having never dined here before, I had previewed the menu online and knew exactly what I was going to order: The Angeleno burger cooked well-done and a PBJ shake. The Angeleno is a burger that comes with a one-third pound beef patty, special sauce, cucumber relish, leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, charred onions, sliced pickle, American cheese, avocado and bacon on a homemade bun. The PBJ shake consists of vanilla ice cream, strawberry compote and peanut butter sauce. The burger burgled me for $ 9 and the shake shook me down for $ 5, but it was all 100% totally worth it! The burger was soft, moist, full of all those different and diverse, fresh flavors and just as juicy as all get out and the shake was simply divine. It tasted JUST like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I mean JUST like one. You’ll think you’re six-years-old again, drinking this fantastic milkshake that is totally worth the Abe Lincoln! Totally! The 08 Oz. Burger Bar is very clean, the service is excellent and it is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. It is located in the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel pavilion, across from the upscale cigar stand, next to the buffet and across from the CMT Lounge. You can’t miss it, nor should you miss it!

We’d passed by the 08 oz. Burger Bar in the Horseshoe Casino several times and noticed it was usually busy, so we thought we’d give it a try for a mid-afternoon weekday lunch. Due to the hour(around 2 pm), the place was not busy at all, with only 5 – 6 tables occupied. Unfortunately, our waitress seemed to be the only one working: she was waiting tables, seating guests and working the register. In fact, we wondered if she was also cooking the food! Naturally, this resulted in mediocre service — none of which was her fault as she was clearly trying to do her best! I had the Melrose($ 8) it was a 6 oz. burger with wild baby arugula, garlic roasted tomatoes, and red onion marmalade. While it was good — it was not remarkable. My side order of jalapenos never showed up. An order of the signature side dish, Thick Cut Garlic Fries($ 4) though were greasy, didn’t taste much like garlic, and had obviously been cooked some time ago. They went uneaten, and we’d have sent them back but the waitress never came back to check our order. An order of the bacon-cheese fries($ 5 – 6 I think) was the best part of the meal as they were very tasty! Overall, we were disappointed, but think most of our dissatisfaction stemmed from being the restaurant being inadequately staff.
