24 Hours Locksmith

Wow. I usually like to give people (and businesses) the benefit of the doubt, but this place is horrible.
I called them, the guy told me that there would be a $ 20 fee for getting someone out there and a $ 25 service charge. Fair enough.
They sent a guy out, who, went he looked at my bedroom door said, «okay…it’s going to be $ 185»
To which I replied «185?! Are you serious? The guy on the phone said it would be about $ 45»
He then said «Well, I was going to say $ 200, but you’re pretty, so $ 185. Don’t cry».
Nice…
So, after we talked a bit, and he told me to «be logical and look at the position of the door» (which is… normal?), he explained that he works on commission. I told him that I only had $ 60 (I didn’t want to pay $ 185, that’s insane), he sighed heavily and said «okay…I’ll take it». NO. There should be a flat rate or at least some kind of system in place for charges to customers. $ 185 for an uncomplicated lock that would have taken 5 minutes max was ridiculous. So I asked him to leave and when he wouldn’t, I called the company. He then charged me a $ 29 service fee just for coming, accosting me in my own home, and then refusing to leave.
So weird. I don’t wish that kind of awkwardness and rude service on anyone. Stay away.
