Good place to get something quick when you don’t have time to go dine somewhere. Coffee is good but can vary from store to store.

THEYRANOUTOFSLURPEESON7⁄11. PATHETIC! ANDYOUCALLYOURSELF7 – 11. If you’re giving away free slurpees, maybe, just maybe, you should consider that more people than usual will be frequenting your store and you should prepare accordingly. Just a thought.

It’s small. It’s a 7-Eleven. But it has the most awesome convenience store front I’ve EVERSEEN!

I estimate that have been to about 1507-Elevens in my life(70 in one day). This one is somewhat below average. The space is poorly apportioned; it’s too narrow for an aisle up front, so the counter forms a chasm with sodas and Slurpees against the opposite wall. Tourists stand uselessly in the middle on summer evenings and weekends. Speaking of Slurpees, the machines here tend to error on the ice side(that is, less syrup than average). While I do know people who hate how syrupy Slurpees are, those people are frankly insane. I’m also displeased by how poorly stocked the taquitos are. There have frequently been no spicy taquitos heated up on the hot dog racks. Sometimes there are none at all, and I’m not talking about nightowl hours either – at 6PM I can never get a taquito. While my wife probably appreciates it for my health, I think it’s a serious defect.

I have no shame, so I will review a 711. I go here pretty much every day because it’s right across the street from my work. They sell pretty much anything you’d need from refreshments(including alcoholic) to umbrellas. I have purchased both of these things there, yes I have. Typical 711 – open 24 hours, staff isn’t overly friendly but they do their job as you’d expect any 711 clerk to do it. Fast and serious. They sell money orders and taquitos and scratch tickets and stuffed animals. I went there once around 3am while staying with a friend at a nearby hotel and there was a drunk guy passed out in the entry way with a half empty half gallon of milk. Just splayed out sleeping. I took some photos of him and we actually encountered him earlier in the night when he asked me for a lighter around Faneuil Hall, so I guess that’s how his night ended. We asked the clerk what the deal was and he said a cab pulled up and dropped him off there and that was that. The guy didn’t show any signs of concern and didn’t seem worried about getting him to leave, so if you need a place to drunkenly crash at 3am the entryway to this 711 is where you probably want to go.
