First of all, incredible staff. The staff I was greeted with during my visit today were friendly, helpful, and happy to be there(well, at least appear to be). I’m pretty sure every single staff greeted me at some point. While that kind of service can easily be pesky, they made me feel super comfortable. I came in looking for a school bag and they were happy to pinpoint exactly which bags met my criteria. After finding the perfect bag, they went to the back and took out a brand new, still wrapped bag for me. They made me feel so excited about purchasing the bag, I forgot to even look at the price tag. Now that’s a salesperson. Maybe I was lucky to walk in during a shift full of excellent service, but I definitely had a good experience.

Love this place! My favorite part about Aldo was always the accessories and now they have a whole store specifically devoted to lots of cute necklaces, earrings, rings and bags. Happiness! This is an excellent place for great costume jewelry on the cheap. I find the Aldo designs to be a bit classier and less generic than similar costume items at places like H&M and Claire’s. Most pieces are regularly priced at around $ 15 – 20 but I walked into a great sale here yesterday where they were offering a buy-one get one free sale on most everything in the store. I got a cute stacking ring and a beaded necklace for $ 13 total. Definitely a good deal. This is one of my favorite places on Newbury Street. A must visit for anyone who loves accessorizing.

After passing by so many times, I finally went in. I blame it on the Sale sign. Aldo Accessories resembles Aldo Shoes in the quality — not really that well made, but when on sale, their bags are a great deal. Well worth buying something trendy that you know you’ll tire of within a few uses without the guilt of spending too much. The salesperson was also really nice — a rarity in the area.
